It's been one day, twenty one hours, twenty eight painful minutes since Calista arrived and she's made me want to pull her hair in annoyance. She's been up to silly tricks, and I guess I was beginning to gain a new perspective to things; Mama's favourite was Ruby but Calista's favourite was Rose. It was the first day of school and I had mixed feelings about it. A lot of emotions and thoughts ran through me and I felt a little nervous. This was the third term, I had to keep up my grades, my senior year was fast approaching, I'd get to see Emmanuel after the wrenching breakup we had, my birthday was next week and I'll turn sixteen.
