My eyes fluttered open to find myself back inside of my tent. I sat up and looked around, what happened? Then the haunting memory  hit me. Draven had told me that my parents were dead and I was going to leave. I fought him off but then he placed his fingers on my throat rendering me unconscious. My eyes welled up with tears, my parents weren't dead, it wasn't possible. They would never take their own lives, it was a trick. Colby must have them hostage somewhere and be claiming that they are dead. Anger filled my body like boiling water, I can't believe that Draven would prevent me from going to them. I had to get to my mom and dad, to see with my own eyes, with or without the masculine man

Dravens P.O.VThe closer we came to our camp the more excruciating the pain had become. Every now and then I let out a groan and my brother would give me a worried look, his wolves yellow eyes filled full of concern. I leaned down getting a better grip on my brother's fur and trying to hold tight to the unconscious angel in my arms.

I could hear the leaves crushing under Joshua's large paws as he sprinted. We were out of time and yet both of us was determined to get to Draven, we weren't going to give up. He was a wolf so just maybe he could hang on a little longer than the average person. I clung to the vile of blood and the mesmerizing book with one hand and ahold of Joshua with the other, I could feel the temperature in the air change and shivers ran down my body.
