Lucas stilled at the question. It was the most un-Flynnlike thing he had heard come out of his boyfriend’s mouth. Why was he asking such a strange question?

Flynn woke up to the sound of birds tweeting outside in the window. He took a few seconds to process his changed surroundings. The plain white ceiling and blue bed covers meant he was in Lucas’ bedroom. 

Meredith was much sharper than he had ever given her credit for. He really had underestimated his secretary. He couldn’t even guess how she had managed to work that out. &ldq

“Your boy- I mean the big boss has come to visit!” Steve announced with visible excitement. Lucas looked up from his génoise sponge mixture. That was unexpected.
