Shimpi was lost in activity she did not realize the guilty look her sister wore whenever her eyes met Brown's. It went without saying that their exchange was more than what they put across. When they were done Shimi urged Shimpi that they leave Brown's room as soon as possible. Shinja was shy but mostly embarrassed to go to Silver's room again. Her sisters had suggested that they return his beddings as they went in to help him with getting ready. Shinja refused to join Shimki. She begged Shinka to go in her place instead

The princes' ego was a little hurt because it did not matter how long they fought. They had been willing to fight for as long as it took to prove to each other who was better. Shinja's sisters had nursed a crush for Silver since childhood but they did not want to show her. She knew this and thought it was still so. She felt the need to apologize to them for the trouble caused so she did.

Shimi slept in Brown's room that night. The following day both of them were not guilt-faced when Shimi was seen walking out of Brown's room, she smiled to herself as she closed his door behind her and continued on her way. Brown discovered he could not wipe off the satisfied grin on his face. Shimi made him happy. She was beautiful, witty and brutally honest. Her honesty was so plain, the way she said it could not keep him from laughing. The night they had together played on in his mind the entire day.

"You know what Silver. I can't believe you are here with me. Together like this. The fight had got me so worried so I could not come to you for days. I feared that you must be angry at me. I came here today expecting you to be mad at me.  I did not have it in mind that you would be waiting for me that never occurred to me. It is as if you knew I was coming. You even prepared this rose as a surprise for me," she turned from her reflection to face him.
