Today, Abba was fortunate they gave him his phone and he was able to make a call. It had already been a week after he was nabbed by the police, but no one from neither family nor friends had visited him. He got it that his family didn’t know he was in the police station and was being charged with murder case, but what of his friends? He was sure even one of them knew but they didn’t come. What baffled him more was Nuriyya, he called her immediately after they were taken to the police station, even when Aisha’s Daddy came he told them to give him a phone so he can call his family. The world was a cold place, but when Abba got out the prison; he looked around and felt warm from within. He had never imagined that he will be out of this prison until Aisha made it possible for him. He looked ahead, and he saw Aisha leaning on her car as she smiled warmly at him. This was the second stroll she was having aroung the compound, and she strolled around the school when there was still sunlight so she could relish on the warmth of the sun burning her skin, a punishment for not following Daddy and Ilham to Makkah. There cheeks were a mess of their tears by the time Aisha finished telling them the whole story of her life. The revelation of Mommy being a prostitute was a hard blow to Humaira’s heart and she had never wanted to see someone like she wanted to see Mommy. She wished her mother wasn’t like that, she wished she was a pious woman as Humaira always had a memory of her dead mother. She lived her life with the thought of her mother died when she was five, and now that she knew her mother wasn’t dead, she felt heartbroken over her. It was now that she dotted the lines, that stupid man that kept pestering her in ATBU was the man that made Aisha’s life a living hell and he was the one that revealed the darkest secrets about their mother. Indeed it was dark just like he threatened to reveal the dirstiest secret of Mommy.
