I made my way up to the Fifteenth story of Adams Corp. I was nervous as this was the most important day of my life. It was my first day as the new assistant of Ivan Lewis Adams. New York's most eligible bachelor who also happened to be the CEO of this prestigious company. As the elevator started to move, I felt ill.Don't get me wrong, I was very excited about the opportunity. I was somehow selected among the most competitive and attractive group of people with extremely high qualification. Anyone would kill to have this job. I am a very lucky woman. However, the main reason for my discomfort was that I'll be working closely with Ivan Adams.

Two Years Later...That's right, I survived two years working with this neurotic man. It only took 25 therapy sessions and 72 hours of commitment to a mental hospital.Kidding....it wasn't that bad. But it isn't that great either.The more I got to know him, the easier it got at least. However, I wouldn't wish this upon my worst enemy. How should I put it? He was a literal Devil.

I ran home. Okay, not literally. I hopped inside a cab and told him to drive faster. I can't believe I totally embarrassed myself in front of my boss."I'm back!" But why was he on TV?

"I'm glad boss broke up with Katie Mckinzee, now we can finally be together," Mandy said after I told her about the roses."Very funny, you barely say two words to the man," I rolled my eyes. I quietly worked on some paperwork for the meeting that was going to take place later in the day. Ivan's mother was supposed to visit the office today which put him on an edge. They don't exactly have a close mother and son relationship. I don't understand why because she was a perfectly pleasant person. She always treated me like I'm her daughter. Not to mention she was incredibly beautiful. Beauty must run in that family.I went to his office when his mother arrived to let him know. I prepared myself for the trip to Paris. I didn't understand why he insisted that I go with him. The next day, he acted as nothing happened. He was back to his stoic and no bullshit attitude. I was more than okay to avoid that type of conversation so I sure as hell didn't bring it up.
