♡   "I just want him to come back already." I pout, stirring a finger in my now cold hot chocolate as Riley, Chloe and I walk down the Santa Cruz boardwalk. The sun begins to set behind the sea in a splash of red and pink. It reminds me faintly of Cooper and my first date just two months ago, precisely two days time after our first kiss.

♡"Here you are." Riley leans over in the passenger seat that I so stubbornly stole from Bryce on the way back from the mall this Sunday afternoon and she hugs me tightly.My poor friends must be so tired of me complaining of how much I miss Cooper. He's been gone a week now.

♡It's a cold and rainy Saturday morning here in Santa Cruz as I curl up in my blankets, on my tenth episode of Friends since waking up. I've got an empty pint of Ben & Jerry's on my nightstand and a cup of hot chamomile tea on the way up right now.

♡An hour or two later and Riley's lack of clothes has been resolved. She now wears a sleek and formal dress for the fancy day out that her date has planned. Supposedly he's from a different school and the two met when she was out getting a cup of coffee yesterday afternoon.
