♡    We walk down the almost silent halls in the hospital. Smells of medicine and sickness emit from each corner we stroll past. My eyes wander to Cooper's, the melancholy is clear from every step further we make towards his brother.

♡"Periwinkle." I smile. "Perry what? Isn't he that blue platypus—"Cooper questions. "No dip-shit, it's a color, a shade of blue." "Well I'm sorry princess, I will make sure to never say anything else that may trigger your fucking ninja turtle side." He throws his hands in front of him.

♡    Tuesday morning breakfast is of no interest to me. Possibly due to the fact that sleep is still not on my minds agenda or because grandma left late yesterday evening to visit an old friend out in San Francisco and now she's not around to cook delicious breakfast for us.

♡    "I'm home." I say to myself.That is such a tragic meaning nowadays. Nothing like it used to be, so pure and gleeful. Home is no longer a home but only a house until I have somewhere else to go.

♡I pace around the room hour after hour. Does it help? No, but it gets me through the day. School lunch is almost out by now, so I won't be on my lonesome for much longer. I whisper to the walls that close me in my room, although they will never reveal my deepest secrets. Frankly, I believe these walls have gotten more than they've bargained for.
