Chapter 2. My eyes slowly opened and I yawned. I flipped onto my other side and saw a person lying there. "Ahh!" Chapter 4. “Hey, Aaron?” I asked while we were sitting on my bed.  “What’s up?” he asked while texting someone, probably Jen.  I hesitated for a second as I tried to decide whether asking this was a good idea or not. I sucked it up and sighed, “Do ever kiss a girl and then... then just leave?”  “Are we talking about Jake? Because he was horrible, just forget about him,” Aaron stopped to look up at me.  “No,” I groaned internally; I knew I shouldn’t have brought it up, “I was wondering if guys did that a lot. Kiss a girl passionately and go.”  

Chapter 5. Almost a week passed by after Adam and Chase came home. Surprisingly l hadn’t seen much of Chase after that day in the pool. We were starting school tomorrow and I was extremely nervous about my new body. I felt completely different. In fact I was completely different. I had stopped letting people walk all over me and the thought of how people would reacted to that terrifled meironically.  Aaron sat on my bed and watched me change into about a thousand different outfits for the first day of school.  He rolled his eyes after I modeled the cut off jean shorts and neon blue short sleeve shirt, “What’s the point of this? You’ll look fine in anything you wear.”  “Fine?” I pouted. 

I woke up early to shower. I always showered in the morning and Aaron always showered at night to avoid bathroom issues. We were close, but not that close. I showered quickly and brushed my teeth. Then I gave Aaron the bathroom and went into my room to change.   Once I was in the first-day-of-outfit I had picked out last night I did my makeup, giving my hair a little time to dry before I straightened it. Aaron was done before me, of course, and went to go eat breakfast with the guys in my kitchen.   I grabbed mine and Aaron’s backpacks and ran downstairs.   “You guys ready to go?” I asked as I handed Aaron his backpack. 

By the time the end of the day came around I was exhausted from trying to hide from Jake all day. He happened to be in three of mine and Aaron’s classes, one of our off periods, and in the only class I had without Aaron excluding second period off which he was also in. Chase was in my only class without Aaron too only making in worse. It was like karma was coming after me that day.   I waited for the boys at Adam’s car. I wanted to get out of that school as soon as possible, but it didn’t seem like that was going to happen. Jake had already been walking towards me. Aaron, Adam, and Chase had failed to show up before him.   “Hey,” Jake grinned looking more kind than cocky.  

It’s so sad that once Aaron’s gone I have no one. I thought as I plopped down on my bed. He went to go hang out with jen of course. I wouldn’t say I didn’t like her, I actually really liked her, but it was like she was kidnapping my best friend.   I never had a large group of close friends. I could’ve called someone over just to hang out like Dylan or Matt, but I wasn’t in the mood. So instead I sat on my bed forever alone.   “Skye,” Adam called up the stairs, "Chase and I are going to get food. Jake’s downstairs, go hang out.”   I froze up. lake was in my house again. After another sleepless night I woke up to go to school. I had just finished getting ready when I heard Aaron honk outside. I scurried passed Adam and Chase I had no idea why he was here anyway. He had brought his own car with him and into the driveway.   I looked up to see a brand new black Lexus, instead of Aaron’s usual silver Jeep Wrangler.   I walked to the window, expecting to hear my friend freak out about his new ride, but then I saw Jake sitting in the driver’s seat. I guess it wasn't Aaron honking for me.   I would've rather seen Aaron.  

Chase's POV   Don't ask me why I lied. I don't know. How was I supposed to tell my best friend's little sister I had feelings for her. Bro Code... It's a stupid code.   But how could I not have feelings for her. She's was beautiful and hot. She was smart tooand I'm betting that all the other guys thinking about how sexy she was didn't realize that. They seriously needed to back off.
