The loud sounds had jerked Dale back to life. She turned and found her guardian angel in great pain, her left arm gripped to the bullet wound at the right side of her waist. The two watched each other and though they looked in silence they spoke words of consolation. Dale began crying, she was sorry for the pain she had put her through. "Mum," was all she could say.

Dale was surprised to find out that the area was now developed, new houses constructed along the street, a large supermarket was built near a fuel station with buyers rushing in and out the building.
