Without a moment of hesitation, Charlie answered, “Say it. I promise I’ll give it my all.”

Nanako hesitated for a while, then she looked at him expectantly and said in a serious tone, “I hope you can depart a while later….”

“Later?” Charlie was slightly stunned, then he asked subconsciously, “How long do you mean by a while? To be frank with you, I plan to return to my home country tonight. My airplane is on standby in Osaka.”

Nanako felt the heat around her eyelids, then her eyelids drooped slightly, and she said in a faint voice, “That… will depend on Charlie-kun’s time arrangement. It doesn’t matter even if you manage to delay it for a few more hours…..”

Nanako then added hurriedly, “Please don’t misunderstand. The main reason is because my father and Tanaka were seriously injured. Then, my aunt is fully occupied. Not only does she have to settle our family’s affairs, but she also has to take care of them…..”

“Moreover, I am confused myself and don’t know how I should begin. Therefore, I hope Charlie-kun can accompany me for a few more hours…”

Charlie paused for a moment. Then, he nodded and said, “Alright, then. I’ll depart in the evening because it will take another four hours to reach Osaka.”

Nanako asked, “Charlie-san, did you book the flight ticket from Osaka?”

“No.” Charlie said honestly, “My friend arranged a private jet and is ready to fly off from Osaka airport.”

Nanako asked him searchingly, “Charlie-kun, do you think you can ask your friend to fly the airplane to Tokyo after they’re finished with their business? You can then meet up with them at Tokyo airport, then fly back to Oskia. With that, you can save four hours of travel. Do you agree with that arrangement?”

After finishing her sentences, Nanako continued hurriedly, “Never mind about that if it is inconvenient for you, you don’t have to feel bad about it.”

Charlie thought about it for a while. Initially, he had planned to drive to Osaka to meet up with Isaac, Albert, and Liam first, then only return to Eastcliff together.

Nevertheless, Nanako had proposed a good suggestion.

It would be good for Isaac and the rest of them to all fly over to Tokyo so that he could save on the road trip.

Besides, this was a hard time for Nanako ever since the incident. There was no harm in staying till the next day. Also, he could take the opportunity to gather information regarding the Schulz family’s movement in Tokyo.

He then spoke to Nanako, “If that’s the case, I’ll wait till next morning. Let me contact my friend and see what’s going on there.”

Nanako was very excited, and she clenched her fist as she exclaimed with happiness, “That’s great!”

Nanako, who was in a joyful mood, invited Charlie into her dining hall.

Although it was called the home's dining hall, the area was way more spacious than any of the medium-sized restaurants.

Charlie felt as though he had stepped into a Japanese buffet restaurant. There were a few chefs inside who were busy with the preparation of a variety of Japanese cuisines.

Nanako asked Charlie expectantly, “Charlie-kun, do you fancy the displayed cuisines? If you like any of them, please say so. Our chefs will get them ready for you in no time.”
