Charlie could sense that it was an invasion of sorts, and they certainly bore a bad intention. He immediately concealed his breath and observed them in secret. Sure enough, these people climbed over the wall at a breakneck speed and approached Nanako from many directions!

Although Nanako was seriously injured, she was still a martial artist with high sensitivity and alertness, so she was already aware of the six people before they approached.

Charlie was astounded upon hearing this. ‘What? Eikichi is dead? It seems that Tokyo has not been peaceful at all since I left the city.’

At this point in the courtyard, Nanako, who was surrounded by six ninjas, blurted, “Impossible! My father would never do such a thing! There must be a misunderstanding!”

“Misunderstanding?” The man hissed through his gritting teeth. “Your father turned the four members of our Fujibayashi family into human popsicles and burned the young master of the Takahashi family into ashes, and you’re telling me it’s a misunderstanding?”

Nanako said firmly, “I know my father. Although he is not a saint, he has his principles! He is always open and honest even when he confronts his enemies and would never stab someone in the back!”

The man sneered. “Don’t judge a book by its cover. From what I see, you don’t really know your father’s true nature! Nevertheless, I will send you to hell first, and you can ask him if he ever committed the things I told you when we send him there to keep you company!”

With that, he said to the man next to him, “Take out your phone and start recording the video. I want to send the beheading video to Takahashi-san!”

“Yes!”

The leader drew the incredibly sharp ninja sword from his waist. There was cold light reflecting from the sword as he said, “Ito-san, die!”

Nanako nodded silently, closed her eyes, and whispered in grief, “Charlie-san, I’ll see you in the next life…”

The leader sighed. “Ito-san, I will grant you a quick death, and I hope you will not be born into a rich family in the next life!”

With that, he raised his sword high above his head, gathering all his strength in his arms. He was ready to slash Nanako’s neck.

Nanako had resigned to her fateful death. Her beautiful eyes were closed, waiting for the very moment!

The moment the leader was about to swing the sword down, a cold blade came crashing through the air toward him at an extremely fast speed!

With a swish, a poisonous shuriken was shot through the man’s forehead, and he died instantly!

Charlie was on the move!
