Masatetsu’s last hope was to pray that the reason why Aota did not reply to his text message was because he was busy following Charlie, or perhaps having a fierce fight with Charlie.

If Aota really encountered a mishap, even if we tried to look for him, he might have already become a corpse. If we tried looking for him so recklessly, we might expose ourselves as well…”

“What should we do then?!” Third junior asked, “Senior, we cannot possibly just sit awaiting our doom, right?”

Masatetsu gritted his teeth and said, “Of course, we cannot possibly just sit awaiting our doom! Both of you should go downstairs and keep watch first. I will go and install a bug in that Oskian’s room. Let me know immediately when they come back.”

Second junior asked eagerly, “Senior, what is the point of installing a bug now? We should be looking for Aota’s whereabouts now!”

Masatetsu replied coldly, “If Aota had really encountered some sort of mishap, then only that Oskian would know of his whereabouts. We will only be able to find out Aota’s location by monitoring him closely then!”

As he spoke, Masatetsu sighed softly and said, “Second junior, third junior, both of you should also be mentally prepared to accept the fact that Aota might not be alive anymore…”

A sudden and indescribably pained expression was shown on both of their faces at this time.

They were all fellow apprentices. Ten minutes later, Isaac and one of his subordinates, together with Albert drove a refrigerator truck to the park where Charlie was located.

After the refrigerator truck stopped outside the park, Isaac and Albert came trotting over to Charlie, only to find him standing in front of a corpse that had already turned black and purple. Besides that, the corpse was even swallowing his own toes with his mouth wide open. Both of them were stupefied!

Albert could not help but ask, “Master Wade, this…who is this person?!”

Charlie replied lightly, “A Japanese ninja. He was working for the Takahashi family.”
