“Ito Yahiko?”

Charlie’s eyebrows furrowed slightly when he heard the name. He clarified with Hiroshi, “What is his relationship with Nanako?”

Hiroshi quickly answered, “Ito-san is Nanako-san’s father.”

Then, Charlie came to a sudden revelation. He didn’t really know much about the Ito family. The only person he knew was Nanako.

Hearing that the slicked-back Japanese man was actually Nanako’s father, his demeanor eased a bit.

Then, he looked at Yahiko and said flatly, “For your daughter’s sake, I won’t be harsh to you. Since you are not a member of the Kobayashi family, I don’t need you here. Take your men and go.”

Yahiko blew a fuse upon hearing Charlie’s remark. As the head of the Ito family, he had never been treated with such contempt! Moreover, this young man was very pompous and cocky! What did he mean by being a bigger person for his daughter’s sake? He had gone too far!

At this point, Yahiko gritted his teeth and growled, “Kid, what makes you think this is your company and that you are the majority shareholder? Let me tell you, I just signed a contract with the acting chairman of Kobayashi Pharma and officially own 30% of their shares!”

“Oh?” Charlie continued with a smile, “What acting chairman has the right to sign a contract with you on behalf of Kobayashi Pharma?”

Masayoshi stood up and said, “I am the acting chairman of Kobayashi Pharma. All the shareholders clearly agreed to Ito-san’s shareholding in our company. You, as an outsider, have no say in this! Besides, you don’t have anything to do with our company! Leave now, or I’ll call the police!”

Charlie smiled. “I have nothing to do with this company? Come, I’ll introduce you to an old acquaintance.”

With that, he clapped his hands and shouted to the door. “Come, bring in Mr. Kobayashi!”

Isaac and Albert marched into the conference room with Kobayashi Ichiro in tow.

As soon as Ichiro entered the conference room, everyone gasped in shock!

“I-I-Ichiro?!”

“Isn’t he dead?”

“Yes! Jiro had previously ordered that his life be taken to avenge the death of the old chairman!”

Shrill voices echoed across the conference room as everyone started talking at the same time.

Ichiro was donning a disdainful grimace, and he said coldly, “You’ve all been deceived by that bastard, Jiro! I didn’t poison father at all! It was him who poisoned our father and framed me for it! In order to monopolize this company, he even spent a lot of money to take my life!”

“Impossible!” Masayoshi shouted. “I know exactly how Mr. Chairman died! You were the one who claimed that you had gotten a magical elixir from Oskia that would help the chairman get back on his feet. Your father was so excited that he took Jiro and me to the airport to wait. However, not long after the drug was delivered and he took it, he died in front of us! And yet you still have the audacity to say you’re innocent?!”

Ichiro gritted his teeth and growled, “I did get my hands on the miracle elixir, but Jiro switched it! Why would I want to kill my own father? Can’t you think logically for a second?”
