I woke up in the comfy bed I swear, I swore not to sleep in last night, Xavier was beside me closing his eyes albeit sitting down with his arms outstretched, he was meditating again.

“Um good morning” good politeness is always the right answer, now shield your face because if he takes a look at you in the morning he won’t want to marry you, wait that is a good thing I removed the blanket I had readily used to cover my face then stared at his profile for a long time,

“Don’t stare at me or I will possess you” he deadpanned, wait what my body is too young to be penetrated by this sexy excuse of a demon, I probably should use a less sexual verb, possessed. My body is too young to be possessed by this sexy excuse of a demon. He opened his eyes and looked at me

“How is your father?” I blurted out before I could stop my big mouth, Xavier smiled

“He is good” Oh no now he thinks I care, and now he is going to ask me to meet his parents

“I could never ask someone like you to meet my parents” my brain widened its mouth, WHAT. Someone like me? What was that supposed to mean that I was not civil or what

“You can’t speak Latin and you don’t have table manners”

“Look at you telling me I don’t have table manners, you bite into people for lunch and dinner”

“They are cooked sometimes,”

“NOPE, I am not going to eat my fellow human when I am a demon”

“So you plan on becoming a demon?”

“No!!!” I yelled, is that what I insinuated, that wasn’t at all what I meant

“Sooner or later you will come to realize me as the only man that can last in your life, you cannot meet my parents because my five hundredth dinner isn’t for ten years”

“Ten years then why am I here now?”

“Sorry, I forgot we were on earth, ten years means ten months”

I choked on my saliva, ten months! How was I going to plan the perfect breaking out technique in ten months?

I rolled out of bed and stretched my body for today's activities then went to the curtains to pull them open and gaze upon the beautiful sight from so high up in the air.

"I will be right back" he stood up, that was out of blue, I narrowed my fees at him then once he got out of the room I followed him to where he was going, I wasn't able to locate anywhere in the house yet so maybe if I followed him I might find something to assist my getting out of the house. The boring man was just going to the door to pick the demon newspaper, no my backpack from outside the doorstep. If he saw me following him he was going to have questions for me so I started creeping back.

"Why are you following me" he tapped me

"WHAT, you were just"

"I am a demon"

"Oh I was just checking for"

"For?" he urged me, but it sounded more like a tease mixed with encouragement "scared I might be fucking a demoness behind your back" 'fucking' was one word to use. I don't get it, why can't guys in my life use making love or having an affair, why be blunt and upfront with it, saying words like 'banging' and 'fucking'

"I can see you are lost let me elaborate in a way you would understand, are you jealous"

"JEALOUS? ME?, HA you wish"

"I wish huh, okay, Winter get jealous" he stared straight into my eyes

"What are you? Who was that"

"Who was who?" he walked past me, he knew who I was talking about. I held his hand and pulled him backward he widened his eyes amusedly

"The person at the door"

"It was nobody"

"Are you cheating on me?" I squeezed my face, if he was I was going to cry

"That is enough" he removed his arm from my grip

"What did you do to me"

"Oh nothing" he smiled deviously, of course, I expected that since he was clearly a devil. Xavier dumped my bag in my arms then walked to our bedroom

"Ugh" I threw the bag on the ground in case he left a surprise for me in it then pursued him in the room.

The time was currently a few minutes after six so I had a lot of time for preparation and sufficient breakfast. I don't even know what made me wake up so early but I was up and I did not feel the slightest bit tired

"You up for morning sex?" I asked and slammed my hand over my mouth when he looked at me with that 'are you out of your mind' look on his face. Why did that come out of my physical mouth, It was meant to be a private conversation between the hormonal girly parts of me and the little Xavier she had built in one tiny part of my brain.

"Sorry that slipped" I blushed profusely because he still had the WTF look on his face

"From what?"

"Okay I am allowed to be a lady alright, You know you are not that ugly

"So you have a shrine dedicated to me in that little mind of yours" he shifted my hair out of the way, HEY

"My mind isn't little" I shoved his hand away then stormed into the bathroom, I heard a throaty laugh from him then heard a knock.

"Gillian will be making you breakfast okay"

"Okay... um quick question"

"What?"

"Do you pee"

"I won't tell you that, you might want to use my bodily fluids for money rituals"

"You have been on earth too long my friend"

He laughed again, and I heard his footsteps fade away
