I was starting to fear Xavier, he was really freaking me out one minute he was nice and the next he was bad-tempered and rude. He started time again which I was relieved by, now I was really convinced that this guy was really a demon.

Jax and Jeremy came later on with a basket full of food they set it down and were about leaving when I spoke up

“Are you not you joining us?” I asked Jax and Jeremy

“No your highness” they walked away and I faced Xavier with a questioning look on my face

“What?”

“Is there a way you can stop twins from talking at the same time”

“It is pretty annoying isn’t it”

“Yeah”

“Unfortunately I cannot”

“Bummer” I looked down

“Look...” he started but I interrupted him mid-sentence I didn’t want any excuses from him, he threatened me and I was not a girl to ignore my opinions just because you smelt like rainbows and sunshine and your face was the equivalent to two Abercrombie and Fitch models combined extremely sexy.

“I am hungry let us start eating” I opened the basket and the smell of deliciousness hit my nose this was just the highlight of my day fresh food.

I brought out the different kinds of foods one by one then the last thing on the menu. A bottle of Chateau Margaux

Xavier sighed loudly “I just wanted to say I am sorry if I once again frightened you. I just want you to know what to expect when you talk to a demon like that, if you question a demon’s abilities they might not take it as lightly as I did with you”

“What do you think I am?” I asked with my eyebrow = cocked

“You are my wife”

“I am not your wife yet, hell I might not even become your wife so stop bossing me around and stop thinking you can just step over me you can’t so fuck off”

“Would you watch your tone with me”

“No, I will not Xavier” Xavier shut his eyes tightly and took deep breaths trying his best not to beat me up. His jaw unclenched and clenched and I could see nostrils flare. “what do you want to do, hit me?” It seemed like that pissed him off more

“Shut... your... mouth” he seethed through his teeth, his eyes were still shut tightly

“Or else what” his eyes opened and they were black like before. so I had managed to piss him off two times today he stood up and he was angry. UH OH, what have I done, maybe I was a bit forward

I stood up and moved back a little. he started walking closer to me and I moved back one step close one step back. it got to a point where I was off the rock and I started running really fast. surely he would be able to catch me, but I didn’t care I just kept running to nowhere and anywhere. I heard footsteps but they weren’t as close. I spotted a tree that had a low branch so I started climbing.

I looked over the forest for what seemed like hours, my heart was beating out of my chest and if care was not taken, my little friend asthma was going to visit and I was going to get killed. Deep breathes in deep breathes out deep breathes in deep breaths out.

I started to calm down then I felt a hot breath at the back of my neck. my body froze immediately on instinct “Boo” He whispered.

Even though I knew he was going to find me, and I knew he was right behind me. I jumped and lost my position on the steady branch I was sitting on. I fell out of the tree and I hit the ground HARD. ow, I groaned. I wanted to stand up but I was too afraid to stand up in case of any broken bones I could have sustained from that fall. When I heard Xavier land on his feet beside me, I sat up quickly, no broken bones thankfully. My butt scraped against the floor so I could get as far away from him to start running again. But he caught up to me and yanked me up by the neck.

“Ah,” I yelled, his hands squeezed my neck tightly, my back hit a tree and his eyes stared into mine. His eyes were angry and black “I am sorry” sorry my foot

Xavier scoffed “sorry doesn’t cut it, I saved you from breaking your neck say thank you”

“Uh I will, when you release my neck” his left hand went above my head trapping me then his hand pressed down lower on my neck. I choked, he was stopping me from breathing right now

“X- a-Xavier I can not breathe (#black lives matter)” Xavier didn’t seem to care about my protest “Xavier let go of my neck I can’t breathe”

“SAY THANK YOU,” he said pressing his hand into my neck harder, tears brimmed my eyes I was trying my best to remember how to breathe, There was little to no air getting to my lungs

“No, my life is more important than gratitude, let me go then I will say thank you, no point of saving me from breaking my neck if you are going to kill me by restricting my breath through my neck,” I said, but my words were muffled. He let go of my neck slowly.

“Thank...” His face ducked into the crook of my neck and I felt something extremely sharp and wet against my the spot where my collar met the base of my neck. Then it pierced my skin, then it dawned on me what he was doing to me, he was biting me. He was freaking biting me

My mouth opened and I let out a loud scream for help then his lips left my neck. His forehead leaned on mine. As he stared at me I looked at the blood on his lips, my blood. He bit me Xavier bit me.

“I am sorry” he whispered then darkness overtook me.
