"What if I carry you" He shocked me by asking, what if he carried me then all the sweat from my body would be on his, but did I want to let someone who had already threatened to kill me carry me. I mean I was tired and he seemed like he would not mind carrying another person's body weight for another mile or two. He seemed willing to it so I said the most obvious answer

"No"

"NO!"

"No, I am sweating like a pig and I don't want you touching me"

"I appreciate your concern for me, but perspiration doesn't burn me or anything"

"You didn't let me finish, you cant carry me because I feel like you would enjoy it too much"

"I will love to be at your back, not the other way around" Oh, the innuendos. What is wrong with this guy cant he live out sex in one sentence at least.

"You are gross"

"Are you going to hop on my back or not?" I weighed out my pros and cons and since the pros were more than the cons I walked to him and took a leap onto his back he instinctively held my legs in place and started walking

"Should I run?"

"Don't push it, Mr. Xavier" I buried my face in my arms that were wrapped loosely around his neck. His scent hit my nose and I inhaled deeply when he didn't say anything I sniffed again and again and again. I just couldn't get enough of his perfume

"Am I going to keep pretending like I don't feel you sniffing me"

"Just shut up and walk" I continued smelling him and he chuckled lowly

"Okay, we are here" he came to a stop and I could see a beautiful waterfall I gasped, I know it is cheesy and cliche but it was beautiful

"Why are you so cheesy"

"Mum always says the old ways are the best" he led me to a huge flat rock where our picnic was going to take place. Finally, my butt could find refuge. I sat down and moaned happily as I pulled off my shoes and threw them on the floor. Xavier picked them up and placed them more carefully on the rock right beside me then jumped right next to me.

"So what now, I don't see any food"

"We have to talk before food"

"What do you think this is"

"Winter, I am teaching you how dinner goes down in hell so we have to talk first before anything else"

"Oh GOD what am getting I married to"

"A prince, now go ahead ask me your questions"

"When is the food getting here?" He laughed, and I noticed how his laugh was so reserved and his eyes lit up

"How did I know that was going to be the first one, very soon, you get to eat very soon"

"I guess I can make the best of things... tell me about yourself"

"My name Xavier Hades"

"Just that, what is your middle name"

"My middle name is embarrassing therefore I can't say"

"I will tell you mine" I negotiated with him, I needed something I could make fun of him with

"Your middle name is Amelia"

"How do you know that"

"The same way I know exactly how many days, hours and seconds you have spent on earth"

"Wow stalker much," I said with my eyes widened in surprise

"You could call me that, but I don't encourage it" those words had a sinister meaning to it I could feel it

"Just tell me your name, the name your parents gave you can't be that bad. besides, you said any question"

"Aslan," he said

"That's a beautiful name, what does it mean"

"That is the embarrassing part," he said "next question"

"Okay fine then, when you ask me a question that you want the answer to so bad I will ignore you:

"I am waiting for that day"

"Back to you, who are you"

"Oh, I am a demon, not a werewolf not a vampire. Although I can fly and I have my soulmate I am not any of those two things, maybe the mixture of both"

"Oh"

"And I have a tendency to bite, but my bite is deadly, so you don't want to arouse me to the point where I bite you," He said dangerously and teasingly slow.

"I do not want to arouse you at all" I admitted

"You denying the fact that you are attracted to me arouses me" he wiggled his eyebrow at me

"Oh really,"

"Yeah its fresh air" My stomach rumbled, I am so hungry Chloe and Zoe prevented me from eating lunch and Xavier stopped me from eating breakfast

"I can hear your stomach from over here," He said

"How are you not hungry"

"Demon"

"Demon; demon; demon; demon, why do you work huh, why can you drive why can you do human being things I think the demon thing is a gimmick you are just trying to instill fear into me you are not a demon are you"

"What kind of discrimination is this. I am a demon so what I can drive because I can and I work because I am good at it and I can do anything your average human can, nothing more about me being a demon or I will be vexed"

"You are not a demon your eyes contacts, your teeth fake"

"Me bringing you back from death?"

"For all I know I was just out and you used it as your opportunity"

"Me bringing back time for you?"

"I- I don't know how that happened"

"Me freezing time?"

"You never did that" he nodded towards the waterfall and I looked to where his eyes were directed. The waterfall had frozen in mid-air like it was never moving. And I couldn't hear bird noises anymore.

"This is the last time you test me and my abilities, I am your king and you will obey me and abide by my rules no one else's mine Do you understand" his eyes peered into mine squarely. They weren't green like normal, they weren't even yellow they were pitch black and he looked like he was ready to snap my neck in half at any moment.

I nodded my head with fear and anguish, this man is going to kill me in a week.
