James ran off as far as he could, his heart pounding like a wild animal trying to escape his chest.

The only thing that was on his mind was Wendy’s warm, soft, sweet, and sexy red lips. He was enjoying that wonderful and lingering aftertaste.

When Wendy saw James running away like a shy little boy, her stern expression turned into a wide smile.

Pyrus District, where Wendy and Bella stayed, was not far from the East Lake Scenic Area. James and Walker strolled along the lake.

The slight breeze was cooling and pleasant. James and Walker sat down on the benches by the lake and admired the beauty of the mist-covered waters of East Lake, which was bigger than the size of two West Lakes.

Walker took out a stack of files from his briefcase and handed it to James.

"Chief, this is all the information I got on the Summer family. The Summer family is a medical family that is in decline in York City. This file also includes all of Wendy’s likes and dislikes. I have gathered and organized the information according to your instructions."

"Okay."

James took the file from Walker and flipped through it casually. He then said, "The 70th birthday of Wendy’s grandfather is coming soon. Do arrange a gift for him and keep my identity out of it.

"Turns out, Wendy likes spicy food, watching movies, dancing, singing… Her biggest dream is to have her own villa in the East Lake Villa District and a grand wedding."

The Summer family was just a medical family that was in decline in York City, and Wendy's pharmaceutical company did not bring in much profit.

The cheapest villa in East Lake Villa was worth hundreds of millions, and even an ordinary rich person would not be able to afford it. Wendy would need several lifetimes to earn enough money to afford it.

James looked at the East Lake Villa District that was not far away, then smiled and said, "I will buy the most expensive one for you!

"East Lake Villa District, I want the most expensive and the best one. Buy it at all costs."

"Will do."

Walker nodded vigorously.

James' eyes sparkled. "Don't worry, even if you want the stars in the sky, I will do everything it takes to get them for you!"

James intended to compensate Wendy and Bella for all the time he lost with them. James’ purchase of the East Lake Villa was the beginning of his plan to spoil his wife!

James was different from his master, Ari Fuller. He was the only person in the last hundreds of years who had successfully cultivated the Secret of Dragon’s Soul. Not only had his skills far surpassed Master Ari, but he also possessed peerless medical skills.

In the past ten years, when he was in the mood, he occasionally treated and saved the lives of some big shots. The consultation fees he received were astronomical.

Therefore, although Dragon's Soul had a rule that the chief should never utilize any of Dragon Soul’s resources to benefit his or her flesh and blood, no one had grounds to fault him when James was using his own money.

Walker had something else that was important to report to James. "Chief, the term for the previous president of the National Medical Association is due. They’ll be having a general election. “Secretary Olson of the National Medical Association asked if it would be an issue for the ceremony to be held in York City?"

James rubbed his temples, he was having a small headache. "That someone from upper management really looks up to me, huh? I don’t have the heart to reject him, so whatever."

He had his mind focused on how to spoil his wife. He said casually, "York City is fine, let's talk about it then."

Ian Larson smashed the cup in his hand to the ground and roared, "D*mn it! How dare James and Wendy dare to bully you in public, they’re asking for it!"

"Dear, you have to avenge us!"

"Daddy, Daddy, they hit me… Oooo..."

The mother and son duo were still adding fuel to the fire.

"Hmph!”

Ian sneered and said, "Earlier today, Zack had already reached out to his contacts to destroy Wendy's Siren Pharmaceuticals. How dare they make a move on you, they’re such bullies! It doesn't matter who’s backing them up. How dare they mess with the Larson family! I will get Samuelson Quelch to send someone to avenge us. They’ll think twice before disrespecting me again!"

After he said that, Ian grabbed his phone and called Samuelson Quelch.

Samuelson Quelch, also known as Brother Sam, was the number one figure in York City's underworld. He controlled half of the bars, KTVs, and other entertainment venues in York City. He had hundreds of people under him and many of them were ruthless tough guys.

Ian Larson was a captain of the bureau, so of course, Brother Sam had to give him face.

An hour later, an inconspicuous van arrived outside of Pyrus District and stopped at a quiet corner facing the entrance of the district.

At this location, one had a full view of the entrance of the district but could still stay hidden.

There were four men in the car and they were being led by a man with a scar.

All of them had tattoos. Some of them wore large gold chains, some had their hair dyed, and they all wore earrings. They did not give off the best first impression.

A guy with yellow hair held a photo of Wendy in his hand and looked at it again and again.

In the photo, Wendy and Bella were enjoying themselves at the lake. Both the girl and the woman were smiling happily.

"This woman is so good-looking, she has a good body." The guy with yellow hair wiped his drool.

"Brother Caballero, I heard that this woman got pregnant when she was unmarried. She’s probably a sl*t. Brother Sam asked us to kidnap her. Can we have the first taste of such a superb woman before we send her back to him?"

He asked Scarface with a grin.

Scarface, referred to as ‘Brother Caballero’, glared at the guy with yellow hair and yelled, "Keep your hands to yourself. This is something that Brother Sam personally asked us to get done. We can't afford to mess it up. Let's make sure we’re familiar with the surroundings. Find out the schedule of Wendy and James. When we make a move, we have to succeed. Furthermore, Brother Sam said that we’re kidnapping them to teach them a lesson. Let’s keep our focus on securing them and worry about the others later."

The guy with yellow hair rolled his eyes and said nothing.

"Get out of the car and check out the surroundings. Make sure you don’t miss anything. Let's follow them for a while. We’ll take action when we find the right opportunity."

Brother Caballero ordered his subordinates.

The guy with yellow hair had a disapproving look. He stared at the beauty in the photo and fantasized about all the things he wanted to do to her.

After Ian Larson called Brother Sam, Brother Sam immediately gave orders to four of his most capable subordinates to kidnap Wendy and James to teach them a lesson.

Early the next morning, James came to pick up his wife and daughter on time.

Wendy was wearing a cropped white V-neck t-shirt and a pair of pencil cropped jeans. It displayed her sexy and perfect figure to the fullest.

Coupled with her melon-seed face, exquisite features, and long black hair pouring down like a waterfall, she was very charming.

Bella was dressed in a plaid skirt with a bun on her head. She was very cute, and her big eyes kept staring at James. She was smiling like a doll.

Together, the two sent Bella, who was in a very good mood, to kindergarten.

Headmaster Zahn, along with a few teachers, personally greeted Bella at the entrance.

What happened yesterday caused Headmaster Zahn to toss and turn at night, so he waited here early in the morning to make up for it.

Wendy looked out of the car window. Headmaster Zahn and the teachers surrounded Bella like she was a princess, ushering Bella into the classroom.

Wendy was very emotional and looked at James gratefully. "Now, let's go to..."
