The sheep among wolves
Author: ArianaTowards evening I stood politely in front of the bar and waited for Njal to open it for me. As I could see from the outside, he lived right above his bar. Was that legal? In any case, it should be fine with me. “You could have taken the back door.” Njal's voice rang out as he opened the bar and looked at me with raised eyebrows. Black, long pants, ankle boots, a black shirt and my gray, thick coat. I could be seen like that, couldn't I? I would take my coat off inside, of course, but outside it was too cold, even for a vampire, to walk around. At least for a vampire who pretended to be a human.
"Okay, ready for your first day of work ... evening?" He corrected himself and laughed at his own mistake.
"Of course." I promised and hung up my coat in the kitchen. "I take care of the kitchen and the bar at the same time. You commute between the bar and the waiters, understand?"
The bar was not particularly big and there were five dishes in total that could be ordered, so I would have the space when Waitress willy-nilly stay. However, it would be all the easier for me to bottle the men to get their veins.
"Isles?" I followed Njal into the kitchen and was also shown briefly through the bar, which apart from the main room and the toilet, didn't have much to offer.
"Okay, I think it won't be that difficult." And so it turned out. Work in the hospital during the day and in the bar at night. My life could hardly have been more balanced. I got on better and better with Njal over time, especially after I was finally able to convince him not to chase men for money anymore. However, I did not reveal to him that I was only chasing them because of their blood.
"Twelve shots for table ten." I ordered Njal and meanwhile drew two beers to the table on the other side of the room. Njal and I surprisingly made a good team and I liked him. He's really nice and understanding. Almost like an older brother trying to steer his stubborn sister on the right track. At least that's how it felt to me since I had no experience with siblings.
Back at table ten, I carefully set the glasses down in front of the ladies, who obviously wanted to give themselves up today, and cashed in straight away. Back at Njal's, I took over the bar for the moment while he was preparing the food for a couple.
"Hey sweety. One beer for all of us, right now. ”An old guy roared as he sat down with his three friends and sneered while he examined my bust. As requested, I handed him a beer with four straws across the bar. She would definitely need it if she wanted to drink from it at the same time. Yes / Yes. My mean inner voice.
With a satisfied grin, I put the glass down and hurried to guests who wanted to order.
"Hey! I said a beer for all of us! Are you hard of hearing? ”I smiled politely and paid no attention to the old man. Why also? Drunkards and rioters deserved something like my attention didn't.
Suddenly a hand grabbed my wrist and threatened to crush it. "Damn, I'm talking to you, woman!" Wait ... did he just call me "Woman"? That went too far!
Stifling a hiss, I rammed my fingers into his stomach so that the drunkard collapsed like a sack. “Wait until it's your order!” Back at the bar, his three friends looked at me uncertainly. "Can I get you something too, or is one beer enough for all of you?"
One of them grabbed the beer and immediately drank from a straw before passing it on to his colleagues. "Very well." I praised the three of them and gave them a friendly wink before going back into the kitchen. "So what's going on? Suddenly it was so quiet. ”Njal asked, looking at me worriedly.
“Just a drunk old man. He did not put his order correctly and accused me of not listening properly. His three friends are now drinking their beer from a straw. ”
He smiled with raised eyebrows. "Wait a minute, do you want to explain to me, three adults drink their beer from a straw?"
"More precisely from a glass!" I corrected and elicited loud laughter from him.
"Good girl." He praised and sent me back to the front with the plate for two. The fourth, offended, sat back with his three friends, but didn't even notice his beer, with half a glance.
"Miss! Can we have a few more drinks? ”
“ If you don't throw up the floor later? ”I asked and that seemed to confuse the three women. Rolling my eyes again, I brought them the drinks they wanted and described to one of the three how they found the toilet.
A little later I went to the same, but as soon as I went into the toilet, I knew something was wrong. It smelled ... strange. "Hello?" I asked into the apparently empty room, but got no answer. Was it just my imagination, or was it a little too quiet in here. A woman walked in here less than a minute ago, didn't she?
I knocked carefully on the first toilet door. "Are you all right miss?"
No answer.
Curious, I knelt on the cold tiles and looked under the crack in the door. Empty.
When I shook the door, it opened.
Okay, just two more. I did the same with the middle one as with the first, got on my knees, saw no one, and only then tried it. Empty again.
So she could only be with the last one. “Miss, I know you are here. Can I help you? Do you need paper to wipe off? A mouthwash? Anything? ”
No sound from the woman.
Sighing, I got down on my knees again. For once this cabin was not empty. Though deserted, there was still something in her that made me wonder. "Why the hell ..." I mumbled and got back on my feet. That didn't make sense. The door was locked from the inside, so I had to climb over the side cabin and drop into the third cabin. Careful not to land on the clothes that were on the floor, I jumped onto the lowered toilet seat and looked around alternately between the open window and the clothes. "Huh?" Shaking my head, I picked up the clothes, locked the window and snuck back behind the bar so that the two remaining women wouldn't see me. It just didn't make sense. Why should someone climb out of a window naked? She wasn't that drunk at all, was she? However, there was something that bothered me even more about it. The window was just big enough for a toddler to squeeze through, but never a grown woman, no matter how slim she was.
"Njal?" I motioned for him to follow me into the kitchen, careful not to show anything.
Njal followed me curiously and I showed him the clothes I had found. "Kind! Have you been shopping in the bathroom? ”He joked, getting an annoyed look for it.
“It's not funny, Njal. These clothes belong to the woman I just showed the toilet to. The one who just wanted to get drunk to death with her two friends. ”
Njal looked at the underwear with raised eyebrows. "And you tell me now that a hot and above all, naked bride is sitting on my toilet?"
I rolled my eyes annoyed. Didn't he want to understand? “Njal! I'm serious. The woman is gone, the window was open and her clothes were in a locked cabin. And these cabins can only be locked from the 'inside'. ”I added emphatically, because I got the feeling that he didn't want to take me seriously.
“Okay, it's okay. Leave the clothes here, we'll check together. ”In the toilet? Why did he want to ...
Shaking my head, I followed Njal to the still empty toilet. Examining it, he opened the last door and the only one with a window. "So it doesn't look locked." He remarked and looked around.
"Because I climbed over the partition to open it." And to close the window, since it was way too cold to keep it open.
“Isles, I don't know what to expect? She probably got changed and sneaked out when no one was paying attention. Maybe she still had something to do, or wanted to let her friends sit on the bill. Anyway ... "
" You paid long ago, I always collect as soon as the guests have everything they want. So I can't forget a bill and the woman certainly didn't just run away. ”I would know, but if she had passed me. Apparently he didn't want to take me seriously.
"Hey, don't be angry now. But no adult can come in here, okay? ”
I crossed my arms in front of my chest, insulted, and bit my lip. What he said was true, but ... it was minus degrees! And the woman is naked! “No, take it off my wages, but I'm going to look for the woman now. She's naked, drunk and probably wandering around outside. ”Perhaps she had also consumed drugs, I couldn't judge that, but no sober person who still had all his senses went voluntarily naked into the icelandic cold in December!
I turned away resolutely, but Njal caught me. "Stop! No, you definitely won't go out alone in this cold and look for a drunk woman. We call the police, tell her friends that the woman has gone home and leave that to the authorities. For the woman determined rather than you. "

Vampire Empire Let you bite me
"I'll post it immediately on my non-existent Facebook page," I replied. I had no reason to tell anyone about it. I basically didn't talk to people and I would certainly not rub another vampire's nose under the fact that I knew where a real feast was. Blood elf blood tasted better than any human's, and it made us stronger and more powerful. That was one of the reasons why there were no more blood elves. Well, almost none. We had hunted for centuries, even though technically they were related to us. All the more astonishing that I was sitting next to a living specimen of this species and that it did not hate me. “Your parents are blood elves too, aren't they? That's why your mother has something against me. Does she know that you will meet me today? ”I wanted to know from her. I sighed. "I didn't tell her, but she can imagine." I just made sense of his expression. I suddenly had a coughing fit and small drop
Vampire Empire Worried
My cell phone woke me up again. "When?" was Max's question. "Sunset, top of the village." The top of the village was the end of our city, where the Inn, Ilz and Danube met. So roughly. The delicious smell of lasagna entered my nose. My mother knew I would kill for it! I ran downstairs. My father was sitting at the laptop as always. "Hey dad." I mumbled and sat down. He looked at me worried. "You gave us a real scare!" Ouch! Now I felt guilty! As always, the lasagna was delicious. In the afternoon I tried hard to concentrate on the subjects for the next week, but I couldn't.1. Was my head still aching,2. I was sick from the blood and3. I had to think about how I would teach Max that with me. Damn it, that vampire ruined my life! I threw my things off the table. My mother warned me! Never get involved with a vampire. In the afternoon I drove into town, I just had to distract myself! But whe

My throat was burning like crazy. My body felt heavy as lead.My head ached as if someone had pounded it with a jackhammer.I tried to open my eyes."Diana, admit it, you have to come to yourself completely first!" I heard my mother's soft voice say."How did you know Andre found me?" I mumbled hotter."Maternal instinct." she said.I tried to smile, which was fucking painful."Maternal instinct I don't laugh." I mumbled. Now I opened my eyes. The sunlight burned my eyes.I got up slowly. My blood spilled over onto my dessert, where there was an empty blood bag."Mummy!" I exclaimed in horror."I'm sorry dear, but you overexerted yourself. Your father and I thought it would be better."I felt sick realizing that I had drunk a whole bag of human blood.Tears welled up in my eyes."Shit my little one." she took me in her arms."I know how disgusting you find this, but
Vampire Empire Anger
Max had hit a sore point in the hunters. They wanted to remain a secret at all costs. But Max's argument was not very convincing. There wasn't a soul to be seen on the square or around it."Diana, could you please tell your friend that I will kill him if he keeps preventing me from getting you." said Andre with a malicious grin. This guy was still the same asshole he was back in Venice. Back then, my parents saved me from him. But now I was on my own. That Max was with me didn't count, he was a vampire and only thought of himself, not of others.I wanted to walk past Max, but he stopped me."Are you crazy?" he growled.Wasn't he serious? He couldn't possibly want to protect me."Max let me, it's better that way.""He's going to kill you!"I shook my head."He won't do anything to me. The Vatican only catches people like me, it doesn't kill them."The hunters were an organization of fanatics, the rest of the church knew n

I looked at him startled."The ..."I suddenly felt hot."Crap." I mumbled and looked around. All the audience stared at the screen. Except for one. When our eyes met he started to grin.A hunter. Damn!"I have to get out of here now!" I got no more than a whisper. I was paralyzed with fear. I looked pleadingly at Max. I saw the sudden panic in her eyes and looked for the reason for it. When I looked around, I immediately saw the guy three rows behind us. He wore a sneaky grin that every vampire had to envy him for, even though he was clearly human. I suppressed the impulse to growl at him but took Diana by the hand and led her out of the cinema and out into the foyer. With the other hand I made a not entirely adult gesture in the direction of the man, which he probably didn't understand because it was no longer in use these days.

Diana, where do you want to go at this time?"Damn. I had that I didn't run into my mother anymore today."Cinema with Anna." I called."How long will you be away?""Don't know yet, it can be late." I put on my black ankle boots and my black knee-length coat."You have your cell phone with you, don't you?" My mother poked her head out the door."Yes!" I said annoyed, then I left the house. The city buses went on until late at night, so I had no problem getting home.I sat in the back. The bus was completely empty. I kept tapping my foot. Was I a little excited? Nonsense, I've met a lot of vampires, why should I still be excited? When I got off at the central bus station, I saw him immediately. His green eyes couldn't be overlooked either. He was standing in front of the glass entrance to the Cineplex, which was underground in our city. I went up to him. The cool night wind tousled my hair and my skirt fluttered around my

And so the special day came. Early in the morning, when I was walking in the garden with Chloé and Aurora, who were constantly quarreling, we met one or the other newcomer. Every vampire traveled with large luggage. Nobody carried less than five suitcases per person and among them were eve
