Chapter Seven

I started to unbuckle my seat belt as well and it got stuck. Shit!! I cursed under my breath. I tried so hard but it was useless. Suddenly Jake came forward and helped me with the seat belt. Our faces we inches apart. I could hear his heartbeat. Everything felt so intense and I wanted to kiss him so badly. He looked into my eyes and then my lips. Fuck it. We both moved closer at the same time and just when I was about to kiss him, he pulled away. I felt embarrassed and my face went red.

"Ummm....yeah..I'll just leave," I got down from the car and started walking swiftly to my door.

"Ashley...wait..stop," he called out, following me behind.

"I didn't wanna force you into doing something. You have no idea how badly I wanna kiss you. But I don't want you to think this is going fast or anything. I want you to be sure of this because I don't want you to regret it." He sounded concerned. I looked at him and suppressed a smile.

"Do you want to come in?" I asked quietly, opening the door.

"Yes," he responded immediately. As soon as he entered and closed the door behind him, I pulled him closer to me.

"I am damn sure about this and sure as hell that I won't regret even a second." I crashed my lips to his before he could respond. He immediately reciprocated it and his hands snaked around my waist pulling me even closer. My hands were buried deep in his hair and I bit his bottom lip. My entire body was on fire and I could feel him groan. I felt like I could die with desire. I was so damn turned on. He slipped his tongue asking for permission and I let him. He lifted my leg and I immediately wrapped it around his waist and felt his manhood poking me. This was like a thousand times better than what I imagined. Fuck. We both pulled back to get some air.

"Holy shit, that....that was the best kiss of my life," he spoke, nibbling my neck and moving my sleeve out of the way.

"I know, for me too," I replied, moving my neck to the other side giving him better access.

"You feel it right? That's how hard you make" He groaned as I felt his hardness, against my wet core. His hands cupped my breasts and started caressing it. I moaned loudly, feeling the pleasure rushing through every inch of my body. This was all new to me and it felt so damn good.

"You are so damn sexy when you moan," he crashed his lips to mine once again. So this is the so-called toe-curling kiss. Finally, we pulled back and he rested his forehead against mine.

"Fuck, you are amazing," he gave me a small chuckle and I blushed, looking at him, " As much as I would love to stay, I should head back to my dad's office regarding some internship he wanted to discuss." He said, letting out a huge sigh.

"Okay. I'll see you soon?" I made a puppy dog face, already missing him.

"Of course, I'll call you." He kissed my forehead and walked through the door. I immediately felt cold without him by my side. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. I was smiling widely and couldn't get my mind off that kiss. I could still feel his touch and lips. The thought of it was enough to get me aroused. Pushing my inappropriate thoughts, I got ready for work.

I was quite busy and I didn't have time to check my phone. I was wondering when he will call me from the moment he said it. God! I was acting like a lovesick puppy. I reminded myself that this was just a kiss and we have a long way to go. By the time I closed the shop, it was 11 pm. It was a bit late than my usual time. As I stepped out of the shop and started to walk. I felt a pair of hands grabbing me from behind, covering my mouth. I stopped breathing, and turned around, reaching for my pepper spray from my bag, ready to attack the intruder.

"It's me...stop it, woman." Jake laughed before I could hurt him.

"What are you doing here?" I spoke out of breath calming my nerves.

"You didn't pick your phone so I thought I might find you here," he smiled sheepishly. I was moved by his concern but still, he scared me.

"You scared me to death, Jake." I punched his arm.

"C'mon let's go home. I'll make you dinner." He chuckled and led the way to his car, opening the door

"I didn't know you could cook." I sounded surprised as I sat in.

"I have many tricks up my sleeve lady," he boasted making me laugh.

"What happened to the internship at your dad's office?" he went silent and I regretted asking immediately.

"I'll be starting from tomorrow and after graduation, he wants me to take over his business," he sounded upset.

"And you don't want that?"

"No, I want to work from scratch and build my career. This doesn't feel right." The fact that he wasn't like other rich guys and we were having a serious conversation made me giddy with happiness. This was cool.

"I get it. Why don't you talk to your dad about it?" I suggested.

"If he steps down, the company goes to our competitor, and let's just say he is an asshole. I don't want his hard work to go into wrong hands so it looks like I have no other choice," he sighed. I took his hands between mine and laced our fingers together.

"It will be fine. Try to do something new instead. A new Idea, a new business venture, anything. I'm sure your dad will be proud of you." I kissed his hand.

He looked at me and leaned in to kiss me. He cupped my cheeks and caught my lower lip between his teeth and kissed me. I responded back with the same need. I moaned when he bit my lip and I could sense him smiling through the kiss. We finally pulled back.

"We won't get home if I don't stop," he said in a husky voice and I nodded. He started to drive with our hands still entwined.

"I'm gonna change so you better get started on that dinner because I'm starving," I told him as soon as we entered my house.

"Bossy much!" He smirked.

"Only when I'm hungry," I sighed and he looked at me amusingly.

"For me?" I looked confused and then I realized the sexual pun.

"Oh my god! I meant the food." I blushed, running upstairs to my room and I could hear his laughter behind me. After changing into my PJ's I tied my hair in a bun and washed my face.

"What? Which hospital?" I heard him speaking on the phone as I joined him in the kitchen.

"Okay. I'll be there in 10," he hanged up.

"Baby I'm so sorry to leave you like this, Fuck I can't tell you how sorry I am." He looked worried and I couldn't help but notice that he called me 'baby'. Not now, Ash.

"Hey, It's okay. What happened?" I asked, hoping it wasn't something serious.

"My dad is admitted in the hospital, he slipped and fell I guess, the person was not clear on the phone," he ran his hands through his hair in frustration.

"Oh my God, Is he okay? I'm coming with you." I placed my arms on his chest.

"Yeah, Just a sprain in the ankle and you don't have to come, baby. It's probably nothing," he assured me but I wasn't gonna back down.

"I'm coming with you, period," I told with a straight face.

"Alright." He chuckled and threw his hands in surrender.

"Give me 5, I'll change and come" I turned to go to my room.

"You look good in your PJ's, let's go" I turned to look at him eyeing me up and down.

"You are kidding right?" I couldn't believe him.

"I swear, you look cuter than before if that's possible." He winked and booped my nose. I rolled my eyes and followed him out. Honestly even I was lazy to go change again so I got in the car and we drove towards the hospital.
