Episode 78

Aeternum invited all the participants from the previous campaign into the New City, For the Celebrations Ceremony started. At 1900 Pm, Government District, Conference Centre, The giants 300 meter Dome building finally been used to host Aeternum first international events. Certainly it was a high class event's to everyone that attend it, Everyone was wearing their best clothes, needless to say the events itself was sophisticated, the decorations, the foods even the entertainment was something that a normal cizilian in Fantasma could never experience. The Celebrations not only happening inside the Dome but also outside.

Everyone was enjoying themselves, Even the rowdiest Adventurer and Mercenary turned polite and cultured, mingling with each others with wine on their hands. Of course, since Fantasma is still a medieval world, a distinctions of caste needs to be shown. The Nobles has their own sections which is the first floor, if the ground floor there's only a long table and thin carpets, the 1st floor have the marble tiles, with red carpets and round personal tables. The band also were continuously playing on the stage, adding more rich and high class feeling to the whole events.

"This Celebrations Ceremony is definitely a high class events….looks like Aeternum is a cultured nations…and apparently very rich…". (Earl Canran Von Masvit)

With his back on the railing, Earl Canran swirl his wine glass while staring at it. He who enjoy wine, knew by the taste and smells that the wine that were served in this party was definitely expensive. Also the glass in his hand were probably worth a few gold coins.

"Even the royal palace don't have this kind of luxury…yet they just give it like it was nothing….I wondered if they could sell me that Crystals Light…just how big is it actually?….". (Prince Sladin)

"Well..I guess they can sell it to you….but, that chandelier probably cost you a fortune…..my wife said, it worth about 2 million gold coins a piece….Aeternum, is rich….but that isn't the only positive thing they had…".(Duke Merrica)

Entering the fray, Duke Merrica come to the two with a bottle of beer in his hand. Unlike the other nobles Duke Merrica was the only one enjoying drinking Aeternum Beer.

"Well,that's true….I wondered why they only appeared now?…a nations of this calibre should at least be well known across the world...". (Earl Canran Von Masvit)

Prince Sladin who also thought the same thing can't hellp but nodding at Earl Canran words.

"(Well they are….but a different name….if the world know that High human appear once again…I sure the world will tremble and all of you will shivered in fear…)". (Duke Merrica)

Unlike every nobles in this hall, Duke Merrica know Aeternum was a High Human nations, though no one ever said that it was connected to any High Human Civilizations, he by himself already deduced it. Of course, Aeternum is actually a new nation and that it's history were only been imagined by other.

" Annoucing!!..Entering!..The President of Independent States of Aeternum, His Highness President Kaiser Mies Sai! On his side, Her Excellency Vice President Miss Elijah En Quers!!…".

The party come to a halt, as the stars of the night finally made their way into the hall, as a ceremonious event, the entrance of the stars need to be on it's own level. Two lines of fully dressed soldier entered with a military fashion walks that part the hall into two. Every single soldier then turn facing each others and pull out their shinny sabre then held them up in the air forming an X. Finally as the 2 star walk inside, with each steps they took, the soldiers retract their swords and held in front of them. Aeternum entrance was certainly a spectacle, it was filled with prestige and honour, everyone that watched intinctively stop in their track and just like every Aeternum they put their hands on their chest, respecting the Man and woman that are slowly make their way to the stage.

"Good Evening, Greetings and salutations to everyone…..a few days has passed since the horrendous catastrophe falls on our fellow brothers and sisters…it was a sad occasion, let us give a momment of silence to respect those who have fallen in the battle and in the catastrophe...….May they rest in peace..".

Once again the gestures of Aeternum leader and Aeternums touched the foreigner, with President Mies leading the moment of silence, every Aeternums then put their hands together and stood in silence, though the gesture was simple, the impact was big. The celebrations Attendee inside the dome, The Principality Survivors even the listener of the live broadcast were touched by Aeternum compassion.

"Still with unimaginable Catastrophe..naturally a hero need to rise and save the day..and in this occasions..HEROES..is the most appropriate term to be use….right here in this Dome…is where the heroes are, despite your differences..you've rise to the call of humanity and selflessly sacrifice Yourselves to help a total stranger!…in my eyes, you all are the hero of today…..…".

The Dome was echoed with thunderous applause, needless to say those who receiving the praise was literally blushed and proud of themselves. Never happen in Fantasma before that Adventures nor Mercenary will get a sincere praise and acknowledgement from something that normally goes unnoticed, it was definitely made an impact on them.

"I also want to give my apprications to Hallerus Kingdom, Duke Merrica Murr, Battle Star Empire 5th Prince Sladin Abrahams..From Dukedom of Angela, Princess Angela Seraphim, Visma Nation Earl Canran Von Masvit and From The Coalitions of Scholar and Wizardly, Grand Wizard Lionel Alkord, Also From the Free Nation of Triangle Guild, Elder Carn Furry…Despite the differences, they all selflessly answer the call of help, diving into the gruesome battlefield to save the one who's in need…not to forget The Adventurer and Mercenary groups who aren't affiliated with any country that also lending a helping hand and fighting along side us..You are befitted a hero tittles for your deeds...For participating in this Battle, Aeternum will be giving 2 gold coins and A medal of Honor for each and every single one of you…".

My apriciations speech is definetely touching for the everyone, but the comment I spoke about giving 2 gold coins the crowd gone insane. Of course 2 gold coins is a large amount, even if a farmer works for 2 season the most they can get was 1 gold coin, there's only 5000 people in here so I'm not losing much.

"On top of that, to those who own this medal of Honour, you are free to enter Aeternum for 6 months…you can enjoy our products and service that never been found anywhere else in Fantasma!…Tonight is the night of celebrations!!…ENJOY!!…".

My New City has shown their own class, up until now everyone who entered Aeternum already hooked everything that it has to offer, giving them entrance for 6 months is actually like me giving them a single chip from a can of potato chips, now they opened and taste the chips, they can't stop munching on it. Leaving the stage i slowly made my way with Elijah to the 1st floor.

Losing 10K or so gold coins right now is nothing compared to what I will gain from them in the future. Beside Aeternum doesn't use Central continent normal currency, if they want to buy anything in Aeternum they had to exchange their coins to A-Credits, the exchange rates was 1 gold coins is equal to 100 A-Credits. What you can buy with 100 A-credits? 100 kilo of white flours. Does this exchange rates fair?, according to maths not, to me yes, since nobody in Fantasma know that, so overall, it 100% fair.

As we slowly ascend to the 1st floor Elijah whispered to my ears, of course I already anticipated this. Dukedom of Angela, Institute of Wizardly and Scholar also the The Free Nation of Triangle Guild were the only participant that has the person in power to decides this moves. As soon as we arrived at the second floor, Duke Merrica as always was the first to greet me with a beer on his hand.
