Episode 74

The whole battlefield was under control, all plan already proceed swiftly. All 3 points already finished building their temporary Wall, and only waiting for bathces of undeads to come in for them to kill. In this operations I also see first hand how a medieval fight were fought, and honestly they were quite a spectacle, for a professional army like Duke Merrica Knight troops, their movement was steady and disipline, they followed formations and order quite well, but on the downside they quite easily agitated and to proud, sometimes there's one or two wiould break formations , tried to show off, which served no point at all.

The Mercenary, Adventurer and volunteer on the other hand were much more calculated, they never took risk more than they can handle and they only act in a small unit of their own. They were quite hectic, and easily broken, but there's nothing to blame them for, in the end they were nothing but a group of individuals that only there for their own good, aiming for connections and fame, without jeoparizing their own lives.

"SQUAD D LEFT SIDE! NO UNDEAD SHOULD GET PASS YOU!!..STAND YOUR GROUND!!..DUKE!! GET ON THE COPPER AND CONTROL THE WALL ON YOUR BORDER NOW!!…".

Duke Merrica involuntary answer my order, following the same fashions as my army does, which made him and his guard knights baffled for a few good seconds.

Right now with a troops of 1500 fighters, though my Army only composed of 200 of the whole troops, it makes a visible impact from the other troops, Duke Knights, Mercenary and everyone who fought at this Hallerus border field were shock and overwhelmed by my army professionalism and strength. The whole time my soldier were always the one who in front, defeating undeads like a lawnmower driving through a field of bush, not only that they only saved countless of injured comrade without batting an eyes unlike the other professional armies (e.g Duke Merrica Knights wont even look at the adventurer and mercenary). I've seen Duke and his Head Knights speechless faces almost every minutes since the start of the battle a few hours ago.

"AAHHHHH!!!..".

A few meter in front of me, a battered dwarven were struggling holding 3 zombies that pouncing on her, luckily her large war hammer were holding the undeads from biting on her. With a swing of my sword, three undead heads were send flying before they even got to bite on the little girl flesh.

"Be careful there little girl…if you tired, you should fall back and followed the rest of those people there..…".

I grab the dwarven girl war hammer and prompt her to stand up, the girl was wearing a full bronze dwarven armour which is quite amazing that a petite figures can wears such heavy armours and weapons.

"FUH~!…I'm just a little winded, but I'm fine sire~..By the way, I am Polly Grokham~…I am a volunteer from the Free Nation of Triangle Guilds..SIR!..". (Polly Grokham)

Polly was quite a cheerful dwarf, and by the looks of it she might be a smith, her weapons and armour looks as if they were made specifically for her. Her with red curly haired, I felt this girls was oddly placed in this battlefield.

"Nice to meet you Polly Grokham, quite a gear you got there…Especially that war hammer of yours…".

The War Hammer was a bit weird/specials, it got a mechanism similar to a gun to it, on the both end of it hammer there's a hole, which probably shots a projectiles when she smashed into things. It was quite eccentric and amazing for me to look at.

"Hehehehe~it's a beauty right, I made it myself, I called it Boom-Boom Hammer~…I heard that The Maidens Mercenary Groups were wearing a special Musket, originally I joined this campaign because that I wanted to see them…and perhaps see the said musket, but looks like Aeternum Soldier also uses the same Special Muskets…they were amazing!!…I wonder if they will let me inspect it?..". (Polly Grokham)

Her eyes were glued on my soldier a few hundreds meter ahead that were waving their assault riffles, shooting at the undeads.

".…Well you probably can, but maybe after this whole campaign ends…..".

"Really?!!..". (Polly Grokham)

"..You should come visit Aeternum after this...For now, you should fall back and follow the groups at the back, in a few moment we will leave this front…".

"Roger Sir!!…I can't wait!!..". (Polly Grokham)

Cheerily Polly left the after saluting me, like I said In 1 hours this front will be emptied, the luring attempts already started, the reasons why we hold the undeads 2 kilometres away from the actually border was because we need to keep all the zombies in one place as the special units and a few Scouting unit from the Adventurer Guilds luring all the scattered zombies to this point before we lead them to the burning grounds.

"<Sir All Luring Unit already retreated…20 thousands Undeads en route to you..ETA 20 Minutes..>". (F.O.B)

"Roger that base...GUYS!!..20 MINUTES!!...All those at the back get In the truck and leave now....XING!!..you guys lead them!..go now!!..".

"YES SIR!!..". (Xing)

Xing immediately turned away from the front line and ran towards the backside where all the injured were, all personel on the back already started to hop on the trucks, after 5 minutes they all already started to leave, leaving only 500 man on the front line, I already made the formations loosen up and slowly fall back. By the time the 20k undeads closing in to us, all of the soldier already on the trucks leaving, I'm on the last truck, still shooting and luring the 50 thousand horde of mindless undead with me.

"F.O.B…Notified the Hallerus Border, the package in on the way E.T.A 19 minutes…".

"<Understood. Dragon 1 Hallerus Border is ready..you are clear to speed up….Sir, be careful please..>". (F.O.B)

Since I got the go from the forward base, with my order the truck speed up even faster, leaving the undead horde that seemingly stretch for kilometres behind us. After 10 minutes of pedal to the metal, we finally see the C shape Earthen Wall which I told them to build, the earthen wall was 10 meter thick and 20 meter tall, it also stretch for half kilometre long, it was simply a marvel to look at, Also on top of the wall there's 200 Heavy machine gun were installed, 100 flame thrower, on the ground in front of the wall was rigged with land mines. A few hundred meter before we arrived, we swing to the side and stop behind the walls. All the others trucks before us already being brought into the real border along with the refugees and the injured.

"Sir!..all guns ready, I already informed F.O.B that we all good..". (Captain Sadeen)

As I arrive on top of the wall Sadeen already waiting for me.

"Situations at the other 2 points?..".

"Proceeding as planned, luring procedure complete…Free Nation Border already engaging, all under control, 20% of the horde there already destroyed..Dukedom of Angela had the same situations as us here…no complications, everything proceed as we intended..". (Captain Sadeen)

"Good, maintain constant communications..ALL UNIT IN YOUR POSITIONS!!..".

On my command everyone starts to man their stations, loading the gun and waiting for the horde to come. I can see the horde in the horizon still running frenzy towards us.

"Your Excellency, quite a battle huh..it's been awhile since I got into this kind of large battle…wait…is that...oh they already here…".(Duke Merrica)

Seeing me already commanding on top of the wall, Duke who also there come closer to me and strike a conversations, as he was talking the first zombies already arrived, then after a few minutes thousands of undeads already appeared.

"Sire…I guess it's time?...….dear gods!…just how many of them are there?...Sire….maybe we should…..". (Duke Merrica)

<BBBOOOOOMMMMM!!!!..>.

The first mine finally trigged, on it's explosion it took out at least 10 undead sending them 10 meter flying in the air. The Explosions shook the ground and made everyone startled, Duke immediately gone speechless as he witness the chain of mine explosions triggered that took out most of the undeads, the horde still incoming.

"LOCK AND LOADED SIR!!..".

All my soldier suddenly shout in sequences while cocking their guns.

"FIRE!!..".

On my command, the gun immediately fired off. It was simply a spectacles every bullets find their targets, still the Horde still coming. The sheer overwhelming strength Shown by my Soldier, leave everyone in spook and awe. Looking at their expression I believe we have leave a significant imprints on their minds.
