Episode 50

The weather was quite nice today, I love fall season it's not too hot and a little bit chilly. Since I got a little bit of money to spare I've decided to move out from my current house, in fact, I just immigrated from the US to Korea. The gold that I gave Lee Family hasn't fully liquidated yet, there's about 30% left from the full amount. Lee Han Na works with Katherine to manage the money, with Kathy own decisions (With T.A.S approval on my side) has invested the majority of Virtue Financial funds to buy stocks shares in the various company all over the world. Thanks to that one of the shipping companies in Korea who's been saved by Virtue Financial fund injections, own a small island and they decided to give Virtue financial (Me) the island as a gift.

"Are you sure you're gonna live on the island?..". (Catherine)

"Well…yes, It's a private island with a private homestead mansion on it…did you see my house?..it's a hundred times better than it, of course, I'm gonna live on it..besides I love solidarity.. ".

It would be stupid not to live on a private island if you have one, besides with me being alone it works great for me as it would make it easier for me to travel back and forth without fear of being discovered.

"Honey~ should we buy an island too?..". (Ken)

"No..". (Catherine)

Her cold reply, made Ken sulks.

After flying for 20 minutes from kanghwa island we finally land on my private island. The island was 2km big, there is one big mountain on the right coast facing the kanghwa island, while another part of the island was fairly flat and there's sandy beach all over the left coast about 1 km long and the other coast was mainly stone. The mansion was located in the middle of the island, there's a landing strip near the mansion, also there's even a small private port on the right coast beach. This island was amazing, simply said it was a luxury estate, the whole infrastructure was well maintained, there's also about 50 staff maintaining the estate, which of course become a part of Virtue Financial employee.

"This island was all yours..also thanks to the previous owner, you also get 1 private jet in the hangar, a yacht and one ferry at the port..you are free to do whatever you want here…because even cops need our permission to put set feet on this island..by the way, all this need 3 million dollars a year to maintain…so, if you want to keep it…keep bringing the money..". (Catherine)

"I know..aren't the funds from Lee Corporations Group still coming in?..".

Lee Corporations Group is the Lee family company, they were probably in the top 10 of Korea 1% richest that control the nation's GDP.

"It is..every day for the last 3 months they wired at least 1 billion into our account…by the way, I already spent about 70% of our money to buy stocks that you ask me to….I must say, it was a bit of surprising to see all your decisions were spot right..in a span of 3 months, we already own 5 trillion worth of market stocks...I never saw someone who can predict the stock market like you….".(Catherine)

It's true that Virtue financial now worth at least 5 trillion dollars, we also own an average of 30% stock share of every 300 company we invested in. Actually, it was the combinations of me and T.A.S decisions, with T.A.S unrivaled A.I brains and my fingers that type 'Invest in this company/ buy this shares', nothing would be impossible.

"Well...I just make the market research often, that's all..anyway, how many medical research institute we have major shares of?..".

"We have The Crown Research Center in UKS, Haneul University Hospital in here and Rootstock Medical Institute in Vanama..all this we have 45% shares of, which means we practically the owner…why?..is something wrong?…".(Catherine)

"Nothing really...I just discovered a cure for Cancer…help me arrange a special research group and recruit the researcher from all 3 institutes..Is Hanuel University Hospital have the capacity to host this scale of the project?..".

"They do..in fact in terms of facility, Haneul University Hospital is the biggest and most advance than the other 3…it's not gonna be a big issue to host it there…..wait!...did you just say you found a cure to cancer?..". (Catherine)

"Yes I did say that…arrange all the stuff and make sure it's ready in 3 days…then, I'm off exploring my new island…".

I leave Catherine and Ken who's still standing in baffled by what I just said and ride a golf cart that already waiting for me in the tarmac.

"......Honey..do you think he's lying?..". (Catherine)

"Mies?…nope..when he lied he usually look down before speaking..and just now, he not..That guy is a genius, a bit eccentric but that's just how he is…I guess Virtue Financial will finally come out from the shadows and smash the world…looks like you're gonna be busy from now on…..should I tell Mies to hire a team of assistant for you?..". (Ken)

As she heard her husband, Catherine switch from normal to frantic, a sinister smile appeared on her lips, seeing the possibility of her dreams become true, which is to be on times magazines cover. She starts calling on her phone non-stop as both of them return to the Helicopter and fly back to Seoul.

"Welcome to the Virtue Island Mies-Nim..".

A row of Mansion staff lined up in front of the mansion front door bowing to me as I come down from the golf cart. The scene just like in the Korean drama where the heir of conglomerate comes into his company, it was fairly new experienced for me, it felt good but at the same time quite burdensome. Among the staff wearing the formal attire of suits, a beautiful middle-aged woman with silky long black hair and a straight face comes forward.

"Who are you?..".

"My name is Ran Hyun ok..I'm your Personal assistant and the Director of Virtue Financial Gorea Branch, I was Hired by Chairwoman Catherine Kent 1 month ago…it was a great honor to meet the genius behind Virtue Financial..". (Ran Hyun ok)

Just like Catherine herself, Ran Hyun ok looks like a Korean actress that comes out from a drama, she exudes elegance and intelligence aura around her.

"It's nice to meet you to Ran Hyun ok-ssi…that's how they called refer to each other in Korea right?..".

"Yes, Mies-nim..this is your Estate manager...Bang Hye-ssi..and this is your Head Security Bang Dae Jung..". (Ran Hyun ok)

2 man comes in front and bow at me, Bang Hye was a man in his 50s he has a similar vibe to a professional butler. Bang Dae Jung was a well-defined man with a tough build, the way he handles himself revealed to me that he was once a special force soldier and a very good one, probably retired due to his wound on his hands, looks like he's missing his fingers.

"Captured and tortured?..".

".….Yes, Mies-nim..little and ring finger…there's no complications, I can handle any task…".(Bang Dae Jung)

Bang Dae Jung flustered and broke a cold sweat as I asked. Still, he replied to me, asserted that it won't hinder his works.

"Then it's good..I'm not that hard to guard, as I can hold myself well..anyway you all can just do your best..also I prefer that you all won't just throw yourself a reception like this every time I get back home…Bang Hye-ssi could you please show me my room?..".

"As you please Mies-nim..this way please..". (Bang Hye)

Together with Ran Hyun Ok, Bang Hye, and Bang Dae Jung, I started the tour to my new estate. The mansions got 20 rooms, study, and a library, observatory, 500 meters big outdoor and indoor swimming pool, ballroom, a garage that can hold 300 cars, kitchen and dining hall, in other words, all things inside the mansion was both luxurious and big also it's was self-sustained, which is very good for me.
