Would u be luna ???...

Marcus pov 

I ran through the forest to calm down my rage which was growing every second . I m thirty year old and I know I cant wait more for my mate . I tried to find her in every hook and crook of the world . But I think moon goddess didn’t want me to find one . As I share same faith like of other alphas of the pack .

The damn thought of giving position of mine mate someone else is pricking my heart and making me more frustrated and irritated .

I return back at the pack and called beta of the pack ‘Sean’ . Sean was the one I found injured before two years . He carries the alpha aura with him but the lack of his memory isnt helping much . I tried to find about him , but I didnt got the results .As we brought him here , Julie the healer of pack . Turned to be his mate .

. So , I turned him to beta of our pack as the previous beta  Blacke   was murdered by me , on the same day in my rage  . I even myself don’t remember what happened  that night when I murdered him but just knew one thing , that night Fire first time took complete control me . And left me to ponder for getting back my self .

I don’t remember any thing . Just know I was find beside Blacke’s dead body . That brought many cursing from his mate and family but they knew it was the curse which started its effect .

It was new for Alpha to kill someone but it was the first time that Alpha killed his own beta . This shocked everyone to the core . 

What was more suprising that his own mate didnt even felt his loss . This revelation was something stricking . Everyone in the pack was terrified knowing about the same . This is showed that Fire is having some unusual power which none had yet and his power would be having more dangerous effect too.

 After that incident , the no of black outs started increasing . But with passing timeI was able to control Fire again , by inculcating my all power in the purpose . But after two years , again today I felt same  , frustration and power running through my vein , this time more powerful .

I called for Rose too . She was the mate of Blacke . I was guilty seeing her broken , because of me .It’s also  the truth that none can be better luna to the pack other than her. She was nave but sharp and it was enough for being luna .

I heard Sean coming inside , followed by Rose .Both had their heads bow down in respect . 

"Alpha you called us ?"  Sean asked politely.

"Yes , Sean . Declare that 'I ,alpha of Blue moon pack is going to give them luna soon and the name would be declared on the next full moon night.That is tomorrow ." I said without bitting around the bush.

My words cause them to instantly look at me with shock and bewildered expression , making me frown.

"Any problem Sean?" , I asked raising my eyebrow challenging him to say anything further or even try to contradict me or my command . 

"No , no Alpha . I ..I would just take a leave then . "Sean spoke stuttering making me  more irritated .

"U r beta of my pack . And beta ‘s don’t stutter . "I said boring holes in his bowed head to see him nodding slightly . 

"I need  a bloody answer ." This time  I shouted making him flinch at his own place . I doubt how I could even feel the alpha aura from him , seeing his current behaviour . He must have come from some weak pack .I pondered . 

"Yes , alpha ". I heard him say . 

"Now , leave ". I again shouted irritated .

And he hurridely left .I saw Rose too leaving , who was just a silent spectator till now .

"Seeing her moving , Did I ask u to leave ?? "I asked her in the cold voice , making her freeze at spot and she immediately turn back , bowing her head . 

Rose , she was just 25 year old , healer of the pack . She was beauty and  would stand out from other she wolf , like rose stands from other flower. She was slight chubby with small height , with cheeks tinted with natural red hue . Once she was happy lively girl but now after her mates murder she turned to cold hearted healer .The spark of her eyes was lost making them look dead . 

She hates me but never dared to oppose me . She have many special power gifted from the moon goddess . She could heal and even able to control fire . And that is one of the quality , I want in my future luna . 

 She may be not be my destined luna but I would try to love her . And will never put forth her  with same destiny as other luna of pack . I thought.

Feeling my hard gaze on her , she squirmed . Making me smirk . She  also have effect of me .

She was once my best friend too . And hence , I decided she would be luna of my pack .

Fire was constantly banging my mind and trying to come out of me , to kill Rose . As she is standing here on the place of his mate . But this time I wont let him do that . 

“You would regret , Marcus “ he declared . “ U left with me no option .” I frustrated yelled at him . “ It’s the curse , its not my fault . U cant do this with me . I want my mate .” He yelled back .  “ I don’t care Fire . I don’t . We are alpha and we need to think of pack . Before the curse changes you fully . “ I said trying to calm him down and reason him . 

 And that’s when I heard him laughing maniacally . “Do u think , u can control me . Just few days and I would take over “ he said mockingly .Making me shock to the core . This wasn’t the Fire I knew . It’s the curse speaking again .

I instantly started breathing heavily controlling anxiousness created by hearing Fire . I started sweating and hyperventilating. 

My trance broke as I  heard Rose asking timidly ,” Are you ok ? “  and I tried calming myself a bit .” 

I returned back to my stilled composure

"Rose , would u be  luna of the pack ? “ I asked plainly without any emotions .

Making Rose froze at the spot.  She looked at me , with eyes popped out and mouth open .

She instantly bobbed her head in negative and took a step back .

“No , no . I would never mate with alpha . Never . Please leave me .”  

She was terrified , she knew what had happened with every luna of the pack , how they died or even say murdered . And I saw her complete body trembling , may be she is thinking of her fate .
