Leave the pack

Elis pov 

After killing the bastards I felt relief rush through my veins . Finally after years of struggle , I got what I needed but still my motive is not yet fulfilled .

I got startled feeling hand on my shoulder and look back to see Dian , the gamma of our pack . And the only family I m left with . He isn’t blood related but we are connected through hearts . The best buddy of mine . Only one who knows everything about me. 

I smiled seeing him worried . 

“ I am okk Dian.” I said blinking my eyes , to not let the emotions of mine ,fall from them . 

He grabbed my shoulder with fury in his black eyes ,“Do you think I m fool or I don’t know anything . U can cry Elis . U can burst out every emotion at least now . Pls cry Elis. Ten years , its ten years from the accident but yet you didn’t cried . U didn’t mourn on your own parents death, Elis . Pls , at least now melt the wall , Elis .” 

Thats true I didnt cry . Because I m waiting for the right time when I will kill the murfer of my parents . That very same day , I would cry . But that would be happy cry of success .

After bursting his worries , he  ended up hugging me. Immediately , I could feel my shoulder getting wet by Dians silent tears .

  No ,Dian , is not any weakling . But the one known for his ruthlessness in the pack . Being gamma of the pack and future beta , after me , he is all hard and tough but his this weak side  and tears are only reserved for me .

I know the bond we share is different and the fact that he loves me doesnt make any difference.

 In childhood , we thought , we will end up being the mates . But it never happened surprisingly. But the same day of our transformation , the accident happen giving birth to new Elis .Yes I and him happen to transform on the same day . As I transformed one year earlier at my 15 birthday and he at his sixteen  . 

 Since the day, I never cried or laugh . What I did was just smile .  Pearl became the only person to witness my broken self but Dian never left my side , even after my cold and rude behaviour .Eventually making me slightly melt down.

“ I would cry , when I would kill the bastard – The alpha of blue moon pack “. I told him sincerely and patted his back 

. “ Now please stop being the girl and leave me ,” I said , cringing my nose . 

He immediately came out of hug and look at me bewildered with eyes pop out and nose red ,” I wasn’t crying .” he immediately added with flushed face . Making me chuckle at his flushed face . 

" I know ." I added controlling my chuckle making him whine .

“ Meet me ,  the next minute .” we got  message through mind link from Alpha James . The Alpha of half moon pack . He was once the  loving alpha . But since the death of luna , his health is detoriating making him weak and ruthless at the same time  .

But in the absence of the future alpha – Sean who just disappeared after the death of luna . Alpha James is still taking the care of pack . 

But the sudden disappearance of Sean , is still a mystery to unfold.

Hearing the command ,   I and Dian hurriedly made our way towards the Alpha’s office . Knocking the door  we entered inside , to see every one  from alpha family already seated at their place .Which include none but him , his sister and his elder brother and his mate .

. I and Dian stood at our place , bowed head in respect .

“ Elis , what u thought after today’ s revelation? “ Alpha asked not bothering to ask us to take a seat ,  in his Alpha command knowing very well it doesn’t affect me . But being beta of the pack I choose to never disrespect him . 

 “ I m going to kill the bastard “ I replied with the cold voice and eyes burning with fire  . Making every person in the office shocked by the announcement .Even Dian looked startled at me.

 Didn’t I said this very statement early . I care less about their reaction . I m living with only this motive and every one know this very truth . Just the person being alpha wont change the decision, I took years back .

Silence prevailed in whole office listening my words  . Alpha glared me with his all might . He growled in anger making everyone flinch  . But I remained firm and challenged him through my eyes , making him growl louder which surely didnt effect me .

“U bloody  cant do that. Do u even know who is the alpha of blue moon pack ? “he shouted , standing on his feet . Making me see red , no one can dare to shout at me , not in this matter .

“ Calm , Elis. Calm . He is right “  I instantly heard Pearl , who tried to calm me down . “ I didn’t waste whole ten years of my life without mate . To not do any harm to that fucker .” I hissed at her , loosing the only string of calmness inside me .

“ But.. “ she try to intervene ..”Shut up , Pearl .” and felt her gone leaving me at peace .

“ I fucking don’t care . I would kill that bastard and that’s my promise .” I declared taking deep breathes to calm down my anger .

“U r beta of the pack and your one wrong step could destroy our whole pack” , said Julie , alphas sister and Dian’s mate  whom he rejected .

Julie hated me as she thinks I m the reason of his rejection . Even I think the same . But I never speak aloud about the fact . 

I heard slight growl from Dian as soon as she spoke . It’s the effect of mate bond , which still exists between them . As she never bothered to accept his rejection .

“And I m daughter who is burning in these  fire since years and u know that even better .” I shouted back clenching my fist .

The silence again took place in the office room .Only the fastened breaths of every one were heard .

“ Now I should leave . “ I said unable to calm myself . 

I saw  every eye in the office widened  as I was directly disrespecting the alpha . But at this moment my calming down is more important lr I would end up doing something which I would regret later . And I turned backward to move out .

Only to hear ,“ Yes u may leave the pack “ . Alpha declared making me still and I immediately looked shocked at alpha to see his serious demeanor , telling me everything I heard to be true . 

" What ??? " I shouted with clenchef jaw , tightened fist and eye challenging alpha to repeat his very own word .
