Chapter 54 Coming to the Rescue

An Ni looked at Gu Manman confusedly and asked, "What do you mean?"

Inside the huge company, it had become very quiet, yet outside the doors of the Qin Group, a high stage had been set.

On the stage were all kinds of clothes, beside which stood their designers.

Gu Manman walked out of the company and stood next to the stage, observing the various clothes as an audience.

Liu Min, who was standing on the stage, looked down and spotted Gu Manman immediately.

She raised her head and put on a proud expression.

The event got going. In front of the stage sat a row of judges, in the middle of which was Qin Zimo.

He glanced at all the designers, but couldn't find the one he was looking for.

It took him by surprise to see Gu Manman standing off to the side of the stage.

"Didn't Gu Manman sign up for the competition? Why is she not on stage?"

The clothes on the stage were pushed forward by machines one by one, and the designers walked alongside.

When the presenter called a designer's name, their designs were pushed in front of the judges along with the designer.

Next, once the judges had given a score, the designer got off the stage, then it was the next designer's turn.

The presenter called the next designer just as the previous one was getting off the stage.

Silence fell.

And a lot of other designers also had those features in their designs.

Before she could finish, a woman's voice came from the crowd.

"Gu Manman's design and drawings are over here!"

Suddenly, all the attention from the audience and the cameras was placed on the woman.

Yin Yin'er hurried to the stage with a packed dress and some drawings.

At An Ni's command, the staff quickly moved a new mannequin up on stage.

Gu Manman stared in surprise as Yin Yin'er busily put the clothes on the mannequin. "Yin'er, why are you here?"

Yin Yin'er indicated to Gu Manman that she should be quiet. Then she pointed to the graffiti embroidery on the dress and passed some drawings to Gu Manman.

"Don't ask me. I don't know anything! It was little Zichen who planned everything. He said as soon as you see the graffiti embroidery on the drawings, you will know what to do."

Gu Manman was even more surprised, "Zichen is here too?"

She spotted the little child the next moment. He was standing still in the crowd.

Somehow, she felt very powerful.

Gu Zichen gestured to Gu Manman and pointed to the drawings in her hand.

The meaning of his gestures was easy to guess. He gave her a thumbs-up.

His mommy was always the best!

Gu Manman nodded and glanced over the graffiti and the embroidery on the drawings.

She spotted some differences between the drawings and the finished product and looked at the stitching. Suddenly, her eyes lit up.

"That is it!"

The others, including Liu Min, were all surprised to see that Gu Manman had brought her new drawings and designs.

How was it even possible? They had destroyed her drawings! And no one saw her designing anything new!

How was she able to, in such a short amount of time, not only finish her drawings, but also make the product?

Yin Yin'er walked off the stage after setting up everything.

She rubbed Gu Zichen's head in surprise. "Little Zichen, how did you know that Manman was having a competition here?"

Gu Zichen didn't stop looking at Gu Manman. "I spotted it by accident."

Yin Yin'er was not convinced by his answer. "I saw how shocked she was. Those drawings were not made by your mom. They were made by you, right?"

Gu Zichen turned his head slowly, looked at Yin Yin'er, and said, "More accurately, we made the drawings together."

Yin Yin'er gasped and quickly covered her mouth. She picked Gu Zichen up and said, "Gu Zichen, I have to admit that you are a genius!"

That was enough to make her think Gu Zichen was a genius? If only she knew that the world-famous mysterious website Akk was owned by Gu Zichen, she would be even more impressed.

The judges all nodded in agreement. It was probably the most touching explanation they had heard regarding the theme.
