CHAPTER 8: THE FIRST ZOMBIE IN TOWN

They thought if they will allow Adam to stay inside the train they will all get infected. They all shouted at Adam except Hannah and said, Adam go outside if you want to save your friends' lives. Do not stay here. After five minutes you'll become a zombie.

Hey guys! Stop, don't say that. Adam tried to save all of us here when he closed the last window though he knew that he might be bitten by the zombies outside, Hannah shouted and her dark side came out.

Hannah hugged Adam and said, don't worry Adam I am here. Don't you dare do anything not good at Adam or else... She take off her handkerchief in her head that she tied on her hair when they're in the war field. Hannah tied it to Adam's wound tightly.

Adam, everything will be fine, trust me. No one will hurt you, they'll hurt me first before they hurt you. I'll protect you, Hannah said while his holding Adam's face and stare at him.

Hannah stood and said, "From now on, this train will be divider into two. Yours and Ours" She gave marks and ends. I hate all of you by saying that to Adam. What are friends are for? You really want him to die? You want him to go outside and be like zombies outside this train. This is unbelievable guys!

They all looked at each other and started to get worried.

If you want to be like him then stay with him, said Kiarra.

If you want to die then let him stay here Hannah, Vhiann uttered.

Let her if she wants to be with that guy, the old man whispered.

We want to keep ourselves safe here. If Adam will not go outside this train he will bite us one by one. No one will stay alive. I hope you understand Hannah, Dave explained.

All we want is to go home safe with our families, Terrence exclaimed.

I'm so scared, what if we all die because of Adam? His life over seven (7) lives he can save if he go outside, Kesiah said.

No! No one will get out of here. No one will leave this train alone. If you want Adam out of here, I'll go with him, Hannah angrily shouted at them.

Adam held Hannah's hand and said, I'm fine. Thank you. Let them say everything they want to say about me. What important is, I have you on my side.

Hannah sat down beside Adam and held Adam's face, forehead to forehead and said, Don't be afraid I am here, I will never leave you.

Meanwhile, Adam felt pain in his heart and he holds his chest.

Dave can't keep his eyes off of the two. He get jealous of Adam.

Until...

Adam? Adam? Hannah holds Adam's hand and hugged him. But Adam pushed her away...

Adam experienced seizures yet his skin is normal. Hannah assists him and said, you're a good man you pushed me because you thought you can't control yourself and might bite me too. But you didn't.

His seizures stopped after five minutes. Hannah untied his wound and the wound in his hand fades and suddenly, the wound disappeared. But they kept it on their friends that Adam recovered and safe now from the virus caused by the zombie's bite.

They want to test how good and loyal their friends are even they knew that Adam is infected.

On the other side of the train. They are discussing how they'll get Adam out of the train.

I am planning to do my plan the next midnight, the old man said.

I am planning to get Adam of this train to save all of you from being infected, Terrence said.

We have the same plans guys! Let's help each other and things will be easily done, Kesiah uttered.

If Hannah don't understand what we want, then, we have no choice to do this plan to keep her alive, I love my bestfriend so I will do this for her, Vhiann whispered.

All we want is to be save and stay alive, I will join you with your plan, Kiarra agreed to the plan.

I love her too Vhiann, that's why I want her to stay alive and get back home safe, Dave said.

They were all shocked when Dave said that. So they decided to help each other and execute the plan the next midnight.

Until the midnight came and...

Dave and Terrence started to plan how they'll get to the other side of the train (Hannah and Adam's part). They asked the girls to find ways on how they can get Hannah and bring her to the other side of the train (their part)

It's very dark that midnight and the silence makes the ambiance of the train so scary. There's something in the air whispering someone will die, it feels so weird. They were all awake but no one of them wants to walk towards Hannah and Adam.

A few minutes ago, they heard a shout. A shout from Hannah asking for help. They all stand when they heard Hannah's voice. They run fast, but when they get almost there, Dave and Terrence who are in front stepped backward slowly.

Why did you step backward boys? The girls asked with a soft voice.

We have to be quiet as we can, Dave and I saw a shadow holding an ax, that person wants to kill someone. I noticed the shadow because of the cloth hanging there, Terrence whispered.

Maybe Hannah used that cloth to cover them so we can't see what they are doing. You know what guys! One thing is for sure, it's either of the two. Adam will kill Hannah or Hannah will kill Adam, Dave said.

No, Hannah is not that kind of person, she can't kill someone or let someone die if she can do anything to save that person, I know my bestfriend more than you know her! Vhiann explained

If he wants to kill Adam, she will not shout that loud! Adam will easily hear that, Kesiah discussed.

There's something wrong guys! I think Adam can't do that too. I saw how he shows concern with Hannah, the way he looks at her. Adam loves her very much based on my observation, I can feel it too! Kiarra said.

So weird! If they can't do that, who will try to kill one of them? Dave asked. Guys! Hurry up! Let's save the two. I knew it! The old man, he's not here with us, he added.

They tried to save the two but it's too late. They noticed how the blood flows from there up to their position that time. They can't imagine how brutal they were killed with the old man they trusted.

They realized how much they love their friends and they cried like there's no morning will come.

The sun shines so early, they stayed near their dead bodies until the sun rises and see them clearly in detailed.

Then, they saw Adam's right hand is at the top of Hannah's left hand. But what intriguing is, they saw eight hands, if Hannah, Adam and the old man are in that area, who is the other one? How did that person entered the train?
