CHAPTER 3: THE FIRST DOOR

Kesiah, Kiarra and Adam continuously run to reach the safe house they saw and save their lives while Dave and Hannah decided to go back where Terrence is, to save their friend.

Yes! They go back to save their friend while there are bombs exploding, gunshots from the soldiers who are still fighting for their rights and freedom from the abusive government they have.

Still, they don't understand what's happening and how they get there in the war field knowing that they are in Hannah's house then suddenly they get there in a war field. What a mysterious thing happened to them. All they know is that, whatever it is, they have to get out of there alive and complete.

Dave saw his bestfriend Terrence, who is trying to escape, wounded and don't have enough strength to save his life at the middle of the war.

Hannah, let's go. There! pointing his finger where Terrence is. There! Look! Terrence his trying to save his life. Let's help him, Terrence said while staring at Hannah. 

Yes Dave! So what are we waiting for? Come on, Hannah replied.

They run together towards Terrence.

Terrence saw his friends running to save him. His eyes are approaching to close and he's holding his breath. He laid down. He saw a door and it looks different than a usual door. Meanwhile, Dave called him...

"Terrence! Hey bro! Don't close your eyes. We are going to carry you and save you from here. Please fight for your life if you want to be with us until we can go back to our normal life. Be strong enough man!", Dave exclaimed.

Bro! Save Hannah, save your lives if you want to go back alive. Please let me die here! I can feel, I will die after a few minutes. Thank you bro, until my last breath you proved to me how good person you are, you are my bestfriend, he tapped Dave's shoulder.

Noooo! I will not accept what you want. Whether you like it or not, I will carry you and Hannah will help me save you from here, trying to convince his bestfriend.

Hannah saw the cannon pointing them, approaching to give its strongest shot.

Hey! Dave let's go! Hurry up! The cannon over there is approaching. The three of us will die here, Hannah said.

Vhiann is still hiding on blocks when she saw Hannah and Dave carrying Terrence, she went outside and run towards the three and help them carry Terrence.

They carried Terrence and they hide from the blocks where Vhiann hide before seeing them. Adam saw the four and run towards them to help them. Adam waved and he called Dave.

Let's go we found a safe house there, pointing his finger to the said house. Come on, follow me, he said.

Adam helped them to easily get in the safe house he is talking about. They reached the safehouse and hide there.

Guys! I saw first aid kit here. I think we have to clean Terrence's wounds, here... Kiarra offered the first aid kit.

They stayed in the safehouse two days and two nights. Until Terrence open his eyes and talk to his friends.

Ohhh! Terrence, thank God you're awake. How do you feel? Kesiah asked with a smile.

I feel good right now, he replied.

Until now, I can't believed we are in a war field. I still don't understand. Now, how can we escape here? Hannah confusingly whispered.

I think I found the answer how we can get out of here, Terrence answered as he heard Hannah.

Huh? Are you sure Terrence? How? Hannah asked.

Guys, I saw a door, it looks different from other doors here. I think we should open it and that's the door we are looking for to escape here, he explained.

Where did you saw that door bro? Adam asked.

I saw that door near the place where I laid before Dave and Hannah saved me, he replied.

But how can we go there? You know how dangerous, and it is not safe if we go there. Kesiah said.

If you want to escape here, then we have to find ways how to go there safely, Vhiann uttered.

I need to find out if that door is the key to get out of here. I need to go there, Hannah whispered.

I heard what you whispered Hannah. I want to go with you. Let's find the door. Dave said.

I want to go with you too, I feel much better right now, Terrence said. How about you guys? Are you going with us? he asked.

Of course! We are leaving this place together. Kesiah, Kiarra, Vhiann and Adam answered.

Look! The war ended. Let's go outside and find the door you are talking about. Dave uttered.

Upon walking, they saw dead bodies everywhere, every path they take it looks like they are walking on a dead land with no persons alive! So scary...

Until..

They finally reached where the door was loacted.

Hey! That door looks different from the other door. Is that what are you referring to, Terrence? Adam pointed out.

Yes it is! Let's open it. Terrence tried to open it but he can't. I think guys we need a key. Terrence walked away from the door.

Wait! Look at the door knob, Kiarra pointed out the tag. There is a tag and there something written on it, she discovered.

Guys it says here, "The one who makes me doesn't need me, the one who buys me doesn't want me, the one who needs me doesn't know me."

What? Is it a riddle? Adam asked curiously.

If that is a riddle. Then, the key is not a literal key to open the door. Am I right? Kesiah said.

Ohhhh my gosh, this is unbelievable. Hannah you're good in it right? Vhiann asked.

I think so... I think the answer is. Something that is used by a person who needs to rest in peace. What do you call with that of rectangular shape?
