Chapter 12

Was it possible that I am pregnant? I walked back into my room and saw Mr. White pacing around in my room "Are you okay?" He asked me worriedly and I managed a smile

"I think I am fine now," I say to him and he raises his eyebrow "You think you might be pregnant right?" He says and I looked at him

*Who is the doctor here again* I muttered and he looked at me 

"Did you say something?" He asked me and I palmed my lips together "Oopsie" 

"We will be going for a test immediately, Get ready," He says and I looked at him

"B-But" I stopped when I saw the look he was giving me

"I didn't ask for your opinion, Aubrey Get ready," He says and leaves my room

*I didn't ask for your opinion Aubrey, Get Ready* I mimicked him and scoffed 

*Annoying Mr. Obnoxious* I went back into the bathroom and brushed my teeth. After I was done I went back to my room and sat down

*Now I am so much hungry than I was before* 

I groaned and heard a light knock on my door

"We are leaving now" I heard him say and I roll my eyes, I took my phone and walked out of the room

*Didn't I just hear his voice, How does he walk like flash?* I walked through the hallway and downstairs where I saw him. He glances at me and stood up, walking towards the car, A young man came from nowhere, his face was as strong as iron and he nods at me, I nod back and got into the car

*Oh I guess this is Lucas* I thought in my mind as the man sits in the driver seat, We start to drive out of the estate and soon I was able to recognize the streets

My mind wandered back to June and I made a mental note to get her something when I go to visit her, We got to the hospital and I glanced over at Mr. Obnoxious, we got down from the car and walked into the familiar hospital, I knew we were going to the woman's place, He knocked on her door and we waited till we heard a come in

"Good morning Doctor White," She says as soon as she saw us

"Good morning " He replied to her and we took a seat

"She threw up this morning and I want a test to know if she is pregnant," He says and she nods

"I understand you" She looks at me and smiles at me "Good morning miss," She says and I smile back at her "Good morning Doctor"

"Have you been feeling dizzy or tired?" She asked me and I thought about it 

"Yes I have been feeling tired," I say and she looks at Mr obnoxious,  "We will conduct a test " She looks at me and urges me to follow her of which I did, I had to pee in a can and she did the test. I went back to her office to wait for her and I saw Mr obnoxious on a call, he looks at me and continued. A few minutes later the doctor comes in with the test result in her hand and Mr obnoxious comes to sit beside me as she opened it, She puts on her glasses and read it

"Congratulations, She is pregnant," She says and I sat down shocked

"I have a baby growing in my tummy " I sat down there shocked

"Aubrey!!" I heard Mr obnoxious call out to me and I looked at him

"Miss, You would need a lot of vegetables and fruits, you need to stay away from sweet and fattening foods and caffeine, " She says and my mouth was agape

*How can I stop sweets, What if u want cake or ice cream*

"Sorry doctor, can I still take cake and ice cream, " I ask her and she chuckles, I could feel Mr obnoxious gaze burning holes through my skin but I focused on the doctor and she chuckles lightly 

"For now you can't take those, Your pregnancy isn't like every normal pregnancy and we need to take some certain precautions about it and we need to monitor it at the slightest provocation, I hope you understand me?" She says and I nod meekly, Mr obnoxious received the results from her and stood up to leave 

"Thank you, Doctor," He says and she smiles, We walk out of her office together but my mind was stuck on not being able to take cake or ice cream, I sighed and noticed that Mr. Obnoxious had stopped walking 

"What's wrong with you and why are you walking like your feet are heavy?" He asked and I looked up at him

"I already have enough to deal with, I can't take ice cream or cake so please don't bother me," I say and he looks at me as though he was thinking about something but he stops and looks at me again before walking out of the hospital 

*Well I have to see June* I got into his car and Lucas starts to drive, Mr obnoxious looks at me a few times 

"I hope you understand what the doctor said, Aubrey?" He says and I nod and looked at him

"Aren't you supposed to be happy that I am pregnant now?" I asked him but he didn't even spare me a glance 

"I am happy Aubrey," He says and I looked at him a little more

*If he was actually happy, His face didn't have a creak of happiness in it*

We got to the usual block but he didn't tell Lucas to stop

"You aren't going to tell him to stop here?" I asked him but got no reply from him, I rolled my eyes

*Now that he knows I am pregnant he probably does want to stress me* A faint smile appeared on my lips and I closed my eyes.

We got to the hospital and I got down from the car, quickly walking towards the hospital 

*He might have driven me here, but I am 100% sure he still doesn't want to be seen with me*

I walked as fast as my legs could take me so I got away from him quickly, I went into my sister's room and saw her watching a movie

"Ju!" I whispered and she looked me, A smile embraced her face and her eyes lit up

"I missed you Bre, See I am watching Maleficent," She says and I smile, She seemed to be doing a lot better than before and her face was starting to get the glow it was missing, her eyes had the happy glint in it. I took a seat beside her bedstead 

"Do you like the movie?" I asked her and she nodded eagerly but stops abruptly 

"When would I be able to go back home bre," She asked me meekly and I smile at her

"soon baby girl, soon! They just want to be sure that you are perfectly fine" I say and she frowns

"I'm perfectly fine Bre, See" She stands up on her bed and does as though she's punching a wall, I laughed and pulled her down

"Alright Missy, I can see you are fine but the doctor would need to discharge you if really you are perfectly fine," I say and she pouts

"B-B -But I want to go home " Her lips start to quaver " He doesn't let me take doughnuts or ice cream, The doctor doesn't like me," She says, I sighed and sat on her bed gently holding her hands

"June you are a big girl now and you shouldn't cry about things like this, The Doctor only wants you to get better, and when he gives you permission for you to eat whatever you want, I would buy you a lot of doughnuts and Ice Cream, Wouldn't you like that?" I tell her and she looks at me with glassy eyes

"Are you sure Bre?" She asks me and I chuckle softly

"I am very sure Ju, I don't like to see you cry, your eyes are too pretty for tears," I tell her and she wipes it

"Tell the doctor man that I want to go home," She tells me and I chuckle softly

"Alright Ju, I will tell the doctor " She smiles as soon as she heard the assurance from me and I leaned in to kiss her forehead.

I spent the rest of the day off with June although she asked why I wasn't at work, I gave her an excuse about me getting a day off, I'm sure she bought it. It was finally night and I had to leave the hospital but not before making sure she was asleep. I picked my phone and walked out of her room and out of the hospital 

*How do I get home from here again, I should have left earlier *I groaned as I checked the time 

"Holy chocolate!" I grumbled and glanced at my phone, Maybe and just maybe I can call Mr obnoxious 

*No he is just going to annoy me more* But here I am dialing his number, After about two rings he picked up the call

"Hello!" His deep voice says and I shivered 

"Hello.." I say in an annoyingly sweet voice and I could hear him muttering something, I could imagine him rolling his eyes

"Where are you, Aubrey?" He says and I start to laugh nervously "The hospital," I say and he went silent over the phone

"Carlos would be there in 5minutes, go back into the hospital and sat down at the waiting room, when he gets there he would see you," He says and I nodded

"Aubrey!!" His voice was deeper than usual, more firm and stern

"Y-Yes, "I say shakily 

"I won't repeat myself again, Always pay attention "

"Yes, I will" He hung up the call and I facepalmed myself internally, I went back to the hospital and sat down to wait for Carlos
