Chapter 2:

Louis[POV] 

        I arrive at the Vaduz Castle, A place I was sent away from when I was just Six. I have a feeling that my father was planning something big. The last time I was here, I just lost my fiancee. Now my father had just summoned him to his chamber. I had prepared myself for his scolding. The death of Nora,his goddaughter has driven two great family in Liechtenstein apart. My father had lost faith in me ruling after him. I'm not surprised. I scowled as I entered his Chambers to found my step brother, Damian already seated next to father. 

" Face licker! " 

I mumbled 

       "Louis, you arrived late as usual"

My father stated in his usually boring tone. 

   "You should learn to be punctual like your brother " 

My eyes traveled down as I watched them . 

When I  was young, I  learnt that my father had no love for me, the only reason we stand close to each other was because we shared the same blood. I was used to his method of provocation with his aim to create a reaction from me. I grinded my teeth together as I boiled with arising anger that got stuck in my throat, calmly I played his games. I grabbed a bottle of scotch from his wine bar and a glass as I sat down. 

" lf I had arrived earlier, Scotland would have sued us for infringement of duties. " his eyebrow twitched then he frowned. 

"I called both of you here, to inform you of my decision that who ever gives me, a grandson first will become the next crown prince. "

I scoffed,

"So its now a contest " 

my brother smirked when my father eyes darkened dangerously. 

  " Don't you dare interrupt me when I talk" 

My father hit the table as if his pride had been stomped on. 

   "Father, my wife Irene is a month pregnant, I don't think you need to wait any longer".

he announced 

No wonder he look excited. 

My father's face lighted up, then he frowned at me. 

"If only you had married Nora earlier..... But you went against my order."

      Immediately I rised to my feet as I set out not ready for his blames and baseless accusations.It took me years to become who I was today, no matter what plan they've been cooking up, I wouldn't let them win besides I have support from my mother's clan, let's just wait and see. I stood up and left. 

       Growing up, I was always treated like an excluded member of the royal house, never belonged in their prefect family, alone and regretted. While growing up, my nanny told me, that my dad hated me cause his beloved wife dead in place of me. I was not ready to suck up to my step brother and father's family moment, one I never experienced. After a long frustrating moment, I tired to straighten out my mind round my problem. 

I hit the entrance pillar wall with my fist as I tried to control my temper. 

    "Is that a sign of disappointment or you sad that I might take what you want so badly"

His brother's voice trailed from behind. 

My heart tightened with rage. 

" brother, "

he tap me on the shoulder

" I was hoping for a congratulations but I guess I won't be getting it"

I pushed his hand away.

" Well then congratulations, but Irene is a as low as sly and conniving as a fox better go check if that child is yours. " 

" How dare you? , he gathered his fist to punch me but I dodge and knocked him down wondered when he started to gain confidence to fight back

     I saw my step mother walking towards our direction, her nose wrinkled with contempt. I noticed that age had made her lose most of her beauty. 

" What Imprudence ", 

her arrival forced us to separate from nearly bouncing  on each others. 

     " You should be ashamed of yourself , Louis I expected you to happy that your brother would soon be a father" 

She continued

    "But here you are still bullying him cause  you can't deal with your failure. "

Damien buried himself behind his mother's side like a coward she turned him to be. 

    "We all know you killed Nora cause you never liked her " she challenged me. 

       My anger gaze intrigued her, she smirked thinking she had hit a spot. She was the kind of woman that could play her way into a man's heart just like she entered my father's . She learnt the skill that has a strong effect on people that makes them do whatever she wants and still looks innocent while doing it. 

Demn it! She was right, 

I never loved Nora. 

I groan, I need to get out of here before they start to get to me. I hate them all! 

"You know! , I keep wondering where this information keeps coming from, as far as I know my personal problem is none of your business, maybe I will start checking list of her murder suspect! "

I said to shut her up as I left them to pounder over my warning. 

       When I got to Miami, Nora was found died and I was the last person on her phone dial. My step mom used this as a tool to facilitate her aim to steal my right as the crown prince for her cowardly son.

Her father, Lord Elliott is a strong member as the prime minister of the royal council. 

My father and her father grew up as best friend. He approved of our relationship, he  declared his  purpose was to strength the bold with my father but he was just aiming for more for in the ruling council. 

To hell with their ruckus, when the time is right, I would surely take my place in power and there would pay for treating me like this. 

       When I was just two year old, young and vulnerable. My dad never cared about me, when he married my step mom, she acted so sweet and kind hide her claw for the appropriate time. She used me as a pawn when I thought she loved me. Once my step brother was born, I was shipped away to stay with my godparents in Spain where I grow up. My hate resurrected as I remember how she successfully send me away setting my dad and I apart.  

When I came back at the age of 15, she was disappointed she could no longer control me. That young boy weak and pitiful was dead. 

My phone vibrated 

It was my friend Oscar calling. he called at the right time if I stay here any longer I don't think I would contain myself.

      "Louis!"

Someone called my name from a far as I was about to leave. 

The figure walked in an unladylike manner I chuckled cause I knew it was my step sister, Princess Elina at the age of eighteen, she had grown so vibrate and free spirited. She wrapped her hands around me as she jumped to hug me. She was the only one I cared about in this place. My step mother hadn't plan on given birth again as she was bent on maintaining  her shape when she got married. In order words, Princess Elina's birth was unexpected. Elina was left to be cared for by nannys and she grow up hating her own mother whose influence don't affect her. What I love about her was her lively spirit, she bring anytime she was around. 

No matter how much I tried to stay away from her, when I was younger the more she persuade her way into my heart. 

" I just arrived and you leaving," 

She frowned. 

      "Now who is going to make fun of my foolish brother and his Vixen brid. "

She teased

I pat her softly in the face

" You need to go back inside, the royal feast will soon begin"

I informed her. 

My brother and his wife are celebrating the coming of their child. This party was just to strength his position and gain more supports. 

   " I heard you got into Harvard, Congratulations! " 

I praised her

She got admitted into Harvard and she was studying history. 

She held my hand tight as if they was something she wanted to tell me but she hugged me instead. 

Before I could react she bounced away. 

she had grown so much. I watched her from afar
