2. He is my type

Ariana's p.o.v

I was so over the moon when my Superior at work gave me the contract I had been praying for, I was to supervise the construction that was going to cover all of my problems, I really needed the money a lot, the only condition I hated in the contract was the fact that I had to stay in the same house as the owner of the house, Mr Edih, and rumor was spreading around of how he was a total womanizer, but according to all the woman he was a Greek god in the flesh that was worth dying for. 

I wasn't very pretty, but I was sure I was somehow attractive, I mean I stood at 6'0, slim with a fair skin and medium breast, I wasn't that bad at all. 

I was sitting in the car that had been on the road for more than two hours, looking at the prints of the place I had to supervise, the driver was kind enough to let me be, without being disturbed, I had a lot to plan and think about. 

"Lady isn't this the place?" He asked as I looked at the huge gate that was in front of us. 

"It should be" I answered as I folded the prints and pulled out some money from my hand bag then handed it to the him. 

I came out with my small suitcase and moved to the gate, I regretted leaving my car back home, but I was in such a hurry that I didn't know where I had left my keys, I stood looking at the monitor and the security camera that was there. 

The gate opened and a guard came out. 

"Are you miss Ariana?" He asked. 

"Yes" I answered quickly. 

"May I see your work I.D or any form of identification?" He asked. 

"Sure" I answered. 

I put the suitcase down and pulled out my work ID from my bag and handed it to him, he looked at it carefully then smiled. 

"Follow me" he said as I smiled back and lifted the suitcase. 

He walked in while I followed slowly behind, I looked around observing the place, the place had guards moving around, it looked clean and well taken of, on my right were a few trees, on my left was what looked like a maze, I took in a deep breath admiring the big mansion that looked like a palace from a movie, expensive cars were parked outside, I noticed many were sports cars, at the door step stood a very good looking man, he was tall, taller than me, he had lovely light brown eyes and neat black short hair, his smile was friendly and he looked very welcoming, his casual black T - shirt and blue jean trousers made him look hot, he was exactly my type. 

We moved closer and stood in front of him. 

"I'll take it from here" he said softly as the guard nodded then left. 

"Hi miss Ariana, I'm Pete Edih, welcome to our home" he said. 

"Thank you" I answered calmly. 

"May I carry that for you?" He asked as I happily handed my suitcase to him. 

"Come with me" he said then walked in the house. 

I followed as we went upstairs, we walked silently in the corridor, I held my gasp in, the architecture who had worked on this house was amazing, the details were nicely done and every material used was of high quality, when he reached the room that was at the end, he opened it and walked in with me. 

"This will be your room" Pete said while putting my suitcase down. 

"Thank you" I answered. 

"Well then, I will let you get comfortable" he said. 

"Um thanks again" I answered as he walked out and closed the door behind him. 

I quickly threw myself on the big bed happily and breathed in deeply taking in the beautiful rose scent that was in the room then breathed out. 

"What a nice place, my small condo can't even compare to this bedroom" I murmured to myself. 

I looked at the bag when my phone rang, I quickly took it out and answered it while sitting upright. 

"Yes"

"Its me Pam, I stole kens phone for a while, so,Tell  me?, How is the place, Is it that nice?" She asked curiously. 

"The place is so big and beautiful, I can't compare my work to the architecture and landscaper who worked on this place" I said loudly as I stood up. 

"Don't say that, our boss chose you because you are the very best we have" she said as I laughed softly. 

Pam was really good in cheering me on whenever I felt down or degraded. 

"Thank you" I answered. 

"You are welcome, now tell me, is Mr Edih as handsome as people say he is?" She asked quickly as I frowned annoyed at her. 

"Now I know the reason you called" I answered. 

"Oh come on, tell me, I'm dying to know, is he unfriendly and cold like the portray him to be?" She asked. 

"Well, he is very handsome, but he doesn't seem cold and unfriendly, his quite the opposite it seems, his kind and friendly, he welcomed me personally at the door and carried my suitcase, plus showed me my room" I answered with a smile. 

"Mmmm be careful, you already sound like a fan girl, you might fall for him" she warned as I laughed. 

"I won't, I was just answering your desperate questions, I wish you could have been here with me" I said as she laughed too. 

"No way, I can't leave the office alone, since you aren't here, Its now my chance to outshine you, maybe our boss might now notice me" she answered. 

"Okay, let me get some rest, I will call you when I finish unpacking okay" I said. 

"Alright" she answered then disconnected the call. 

I lay down while thinking of how the day would be tomorrow.
