CHAPTER THREE

ELLIE SELENE'S POV

What the hell is she saying? I'm not a thief, I have never taks what is not mine.

"That's not true Mom, its a lie! I am not a thief, I—" I protest but she cut me short.

"Oh my gosh! You dare call me a liar?" She yelled at me.

"No Mom, I will never do that what I meant is that, it wasn't what you think." I tried to explain.

"Save your explanations, you will meet me later." she said and storm out of my room with my money.

Why is this woman being like this? 

Am I not trying enough to please her?

Why is she trying to blame myself for a thing that I didn't really do?

I quickly have a change of clothing before heading to the restaurant where I work alone.

I know that I am in a deep shit when I return from work because Mom will make it hell for me.

I wonder how dad get to know that woman.

After a long treks and runs, I found myself in front of the middle class restaurant I am working in.

Suffering is an understatement where I am, I'd rather say that I am wallowing in hell, I'll only eat once in a day, after all suffering I won't be left with an ordinary coin.

I look so haggard and unkept, my skin is the most irritated part.

I suffered from unknown rashes but due to poor attention to it, it turned to a dark boil.

My face got lucky for not being affected, people world have avoid me like plague if they knew what I was hiding under those rag of a cloth.

"Ellie, why are you standing there? Come in and get to work." My colleague who just arrive said startling me.

I shrugged off my thinking and went inside the restaurant.

Thank goodness that the manager isn't around yet, else it would have been another question and answering torture.

We started off with the washing of dishes.

I wish my life could just change overnight like "Alice in Wonderland."

I wish to be pretty, neatly dress and smart too.

Is my wish too hard to fulfill?

MARIZE'S POV

I am here in this annoying country again filled with annoying set of peoples.

The girl I met earlier today, she is a full time psycho, how can she try to die just because of that?

Anyway, there is no crime in being a little kind.

I am in my brother's second house because I am in sure he won't welcome me to his main house.

Its been a long time since I last saw him, I wonder how he looks like now.

I rest my head on the king side bed thinking of when to meet my brother.

Okay, I might as well visit him in his work place.

He won't have any other choice than to accept my proposal.

EOS HEZEKIAH'S POV

I went straight up to the theater since the nurses would be waiting for me already.

On entering the theatre, a breath of relieve escaped their lungs.

"Let's get started." I said trying to get my mind focused on the heart record of last night.

After what seems like forever, the surgery came to an amazing end.

I went out of the theater and make my way back to my office.

On getting there, I met the least expected.

"Hi Kuya!" She greeted with a smirk.

"M-Marize? I asked in shock.

I wasn't expecting her here, no I wasn't expecting her here in Philippines at all.

What happened?

"Why are you here?" I found myself asking.

"It has been ten years bro, don't you miss me? Of course I miss you that's why am here!" She retorted.

I couldn't find my voice, I was speechless.

I know she is trying to use me as an excuse, because she have something up on her sleeve.

"Marize, why are they so many tattoos on your body? You're a lady for Christ sake, you can't just have a lot of tattoos and piercing on you like that!" I complain.

"You're still the same Eos Hezekiah I knew, a certified intruder." She said before standing up.

"I'll leave you now bro, I am staying at one of your house, see you!" she said before storming out.

Gosh what's Marize up to?

I know she is planning something big.

I change back to my outfit and enter my inner chamber to rest.

After clearing all my appointments for the day, I went straight home.

On getting there, I found out that Marize isn't there.

Thank goodness.

I went up to my room and have a cool shower before laying on the bed.

Few hours later I woke up feeling better.

I took a fresh shower and wore my clothes ready to hit the club.

I put a call through to my only friend, West.

"Hi Dude!" West's voice sounded from the other side.

"Wanna hit the club, care to join?" I asked.

"Yeah, pick me up Dude." He said before hanging up.

First time in two years that I will be visiting a club house.

I enter one of my car and zoom off, I decided to drive myself tonight because I wanna have fun to the fullest.

LEXA'S POV

"Tell me you're joking Ellie, how can you be that stupid!?" I asked when she told me everything I need to know.

"I a-am just trying to play the good girl role." she cried.

I hate seeing her like this, she had suffered a lot.

"Its okay Ellie, I'll talk to Aunty Olympia." I offered.

"Really? Thank you Lexa, I appreciate it," she said holding my hand happily.

"I hope she listens to what I have to say." I said inwardly.

Will Olympia give Lexa a listening ear?
