CHAPTER-1 WHAT THE FUCK!!!

CHAPTER-1

"You bitch" I hear a faint shout and not long after that maybe few seconds later I experience a hard stroke on my cheeks. 

"Wake up, bitch. How long do you intend on sleeping? You sleep and eat whole day, that's the only thing you know and always do" my mom yelled almost making me deaf. 

I jolt up straight from the floor where I was sleeping and stood up in less than a second. I felt burning sensation on my cheek from the slap I got. “Ye... Yes...Mom" I stutter from the fear. I noticed my mom standing where I sleep. 

(Let me give you my introduction, I am Callista Reynolds. I have lived my whole life like trash. I live with my so-called family. There is my mom Rica, my dad Peter, my sister Eva and my brother Charles. They torture me every day but I cannot complain because after all we are a family).

"What happened, mom? Why are you shouting?" I ask my mom completely confused, as I do not know the reason of her yelling at me. "You are asking me what happened. Did you forget? Oh my god, you bitch! " 

"I... I am sorry but I do not remember, “I said to her in a low fearful voice. I know her temper and I know she will be hell angry if I forget anything. "I told you yesterday that aunt Selena is going to visit us today and you haven't cleaned the house. You already know how rich she is and how she helps Peter in his business. We are in debt to her, so clean the house and cook some good meal. She will come for lunch," my mom informed me. I was sure she did not tell me anything yesterday. It’s her habit to forget things and blame it upon me that I forgot. 

"Move on, why are you still standing here?” my mom yelled again. “yes, mom" I replied then made my way to the living room and started cleaning it up. I cooked some food; it was a long time since some good meal was cooked. 

After a few hours, meal was cooked and ready to serve. The whole house was cleaned too. I came in the living room, blew a deep sigh, and sat down on a couch.

‘’Oh my god…..’’ came my mother’s voice and continued ‘’do you want to ruin the couch? Do you know how expensive it was? Get up from here’’ my mother scolded. ‘’mom…I just sat here, I am not doing anything to the couch.’’ I argued back.

‘’ see… how dirty your clothes are. You always wander here and there like this. What do you want? Do you want to show everyone that we do not take care of you? You are such a bitch!’’ My mom scolded me again. It is her habit to scold me twenty to thirty times a day. I always just shrug it off as if nothing happened.

I began to leave to take a shower when my mom stopped me ‘’ wear something good, I do not want aunt Selena to have a bad impression.’’ My mom ordered me. ‘’ I do not have anything nice to wear.’’ I replied well knowingly and tiredly. After all they never bought me anything. 

My mom blew a deep sigh angrily and stared at me with red eyes. ‘’ In that box there are some clothes of Eva, put on whatever you like and throw the rest, I was planning to throw them out but you can keep it.’’ My mom said to me while pointing a figure towards the box that was placed under the dining table. She left after that. I lift the box and brought it with me to my room. I live in the storeroom, as there are not enough rooms in my house.   

I rummaged throughout the box; there were Eva’s old clothes. Most of them were torn out but a pink and white sundress was looking better than the rest. Therefore, I chose to put it on. I left the dress on the bed and took a shower. After an hour, I got ready. I wore a light makeup and let my hair fall freely. They were reaching around my hips. Just as I got ready, I heard few noises coming from the living room and I got the idea. Aunt Selena was here.

 I was reading a novel when I heard a woman yelling and from her voice, I knew it was aunt Selena who was shouting. I was curious so I thought of eavesdropping on their conversation. I know it is not a good thing but I was curious as to know why she was shouting out so loud. I came out of my room and peeped from behind a wall.

‘’ I have warned you many times, I need my money back.’’ The woman who I assumed to be aunt Selena said. ‘’but we do not have that much money. We need time but I promise you to pay you back’’ my father replied. ‘’ you have promised to pay me back many times and I have given you a lot of time. I need my money back right now otherwise I would call the police’’ aunt Selena threatened. I did not have any money as all the money I earn gets utilizes for Eva’s study. Therefore, I cannot help them either. 

Aunt Selena was arguing with my parents when her gaze landed upon me and a smirk spread on her face. ‘’ Is she Callista?’’ she asked from my mother. ‘’yeah, what are you doing there? Come and say hello to your aunt, Callista.’’ My mother eyed me and motioned me to come there.

I came in front of aunt and said hello to her. She nodded her head and turned to face my mother. Suddenly, all of her anger and irritation rather vanished away. ‘’ Rica, I want to talk to you about something in private’’ aunt Selena whispered to my mom but loud enough for me to hear. My mother nodded her head and they both went in a room. I was standing there the whole time. After what seemed like ten minutes, they both came out of the room laughing and joking around. All were surprised including me as to why they are laughing and joking after all the yelling and fighting. 

‘’Then, I will send my man in two days to your house to collect her’’ aunt Selena said to my mom. ‘’yeah sure, she will be ready by then’’ replied my mom and with that aunt Selena left. All were confused, as no one knew what they talked about in the room; I did not know who is going to come and whom they are collecting.

I just parted my lips to speak but my mom cut me off ‘’ pack your luggage Callista, put your everything in the suitcase’’ informed my mom to me.

‘’why mom? What happened? Are we going somewhere?'’ I asked her.

‘’ we are not going anywhere, only you are going from this house’’ my mom replied and a devilish smirk took place on her lips.
