Chapter 6 You Think I Can’t Afford It?

"It's you?"

Philip was very surprised when he saw Tyler standing in front of him.

"Yes, it's me." Tyler looked at him.

He was really annoyed at Philip.

This kid was thinking of making a move on Ramona and had violated his bottom line.

Philip looked at Tyler contemptuously. He thought that it was so funny.

"Yeah, you can't afford it, why are you here?" Susan stared at Tyler and asked.

Tyler sneered in his heart.

The female clerk who has been serving Susan sized up Tyler. When she saw Tyler’s dressing, she pursed her lips so hard that it seemed like it was going to reach the back of her head.

"Sir, please don't disturb our customers as they are shopping."

The female clerk's eyes shone brightly. Tyler did not seem to be as annoying as she thought just a few moments ago.

Tyler’s heart tingled.

He and Ramona had been married for more than three years and he had never given her a gift.

Now was the time to make up for it.

"Hey, don't make a fool of yourself here. If you can afford this necklace, I’ll slap myself."

Philip smiled cheekily at Tyler.

Tyler glanced at Philip and said, "I’ll make your wish come true."

"Did you forget to take your medicine when you came out? What are you doing here?!" Susan was very angry and scolded Tyler.

"What's wrong with me?"

"What's wrong with you? You can't afford it, but you’re still posing! Aren’t you wasting the shop assistant’s time?" Susan said angrily.

"Hehe, I am really not posing." Tyler smiled.

When she saw that Tyler dared to talk back, Susan got even angrier.

Susan hugged her arms and took a jab at him.

Tyler felt chills when he heard that. Susan really hated him!

"Ok!" Susan nodded. She was also interested in how Tyler would embarrass himself.

"Sir, credit card or cash?" the cashier asked Tyler.

"Card."

Tyler handed over the black card that Butler Quaid gave him.

"Sir, please enter your password," the cashier said.

Tyler entered the password, but the screen showed that the payment had failed.

‘What happened?’ Tyler's heart tightened.

"Sir, your card is demagnetized. This is a useless card."

The cashier rolled her eyes at Tyler and thought that he was indeed a poser.

"Oh, it's possible." Tyler nodded. This was not a big deal, he just had to go to the bank to reapply for a card and transfer the money over.

"Haha, my stomach hurts from laughing. Which trash can did you get this toy card from?" Philip clutched his stomach and laughed.

Susan was not surprised at all. She knew her son-in-law’s real capabilities.

The female clerk stared at Tyler; her expression was very ugly.

She thought that she had met a big spender, but in the end, it turned out to be nothing.

"Security guard, kick this troublemaker out!" the female clerk pointed at Tyler and shouted.

A security guard at the door had already walked toward Tyler.

"Let's go, Susan, lest you have to take care of the mess that he made," Philip said as though he was pleased by Tyler’s misfortune.

"Let’s go." Susan agreed and left the jewelry store with Philip.

She did not want to be in this mess caused by Tyler. Even if he was beaten up by security, it had nothing to do with her.

"If you don't have the money, don’t say anything about wanting to buy it. Why don't you stay at home and not cause us any trouble?"

The female clerk had the security guard by her side. They stood in front of Tyler and were about to kick him out.

"This is not a bank card at all. Which bank card looks like this?" The female clerk took the card in Tyler's hand and said angrily.

When the owner of the gold shop had his eyes set on Tyler's bank card, he immediately took a deep breath, and could not help but look carefully at Tyler.

This boss was someone who had seen much of life. He recognized the card at a glance. Tyler’s bank card was actually the exclusive customized bank card of the affluent Zand family!

This young man was from the Zand family?

The owner of the gold shop was shocked, he could not help but feel excited.

"Shut up!" The owner of the gold shop shouted at the female clerk.

Tyler froze for a moment as he wondered why the gold shop owner would do this.

"That's not necessary, I’ll come over tomorrow to buy this necklace."

After Tyler finished speaking, he turned around and left the gold shop.

Everyone in the gold shop was dumbfounded. They were not sure if the boss was crazy, or Tyler was really a big shot who can make the gold shop owner act as such.

"Boss, what do you see in this poor fella?" The female clerk was puzzled and asked the gold shop owner.

"What do you know!" the owner of the gold shop said and immediately patted his forehead. "Shucks, I forgot to ask this gentleman for his contact details."

"Don’t worry about it, boss. This person seems to be Susan's son-in-law. Susan is a regular of mine so I have her address," the female clerk said.

"Really? That’s great, send this necklace over to her house immediately!" the gold shop owner said excitedly.

The female clerk was shocked and could not help but look at Tyler, who was walking away outside the door. She was very curious about Tyler.

After Tyler left the gold shop, he did not go home and went out for an entire afternoon.

He waited until Ramona got off work, and drove to Novo to pick her up.

"Lily Evans didn't bother you again, right?" Tyler asked as he drove the car.

Ramona was in a good mood. Her boss, Lily, who had been bullying her apologized to her, which was beyond her expectation.

"Well, not only did she not bother me, she even apologized to me," Ramona said softly.

"That's good." Tyler smiled slightly and said nothing more.

After they entered the house, Susan was bright and breezy. She said to Ramona happily, "Ramona, don't eat at home tonight, you can make an appointment to eat out with Young Master Kingsley!"

"Why?"

Ramona was taken aback.

"You have to thank him in person. It’s Young Master Kingsley who helped you, and the reason why your boss apologized to you. You’ll have a better experience in the company in the future,” Susan said with a smile.
