Chapter 4

"Up for a party?" Sierra asked over a call. 

"Yes, please I need to have fun my days became miserable since I met that arrogant guy." 

"You're overreacting again, Carol just don't mind his arrogance and continue to live like what you used to. Besides, why are you so affected with him that much?" 

"You don't get it, Sierra I'll tell you later what I witnessed earlier." 

"Great! I'll meet you at the club okay?" 

"Yes, see you!" 

I'm wearing a nude dress and a nude pump. I don't need any foundations or eyeshadows, my face is perfectly fine it's just my lips who's pale that needs to have some color. 

As I entered the club people are staring at me, who wouldn't? If they saw an angel like me it's normal to turn their heads, lol just kidding.

I saw Sierra sitting on the sofa with a girl, what the hell that traitor. 

"Hey!" I greeted them. 

"Omg, Carol!" The girl beside Sierra went to embrace me. 

My eyebrows met each other wondering who is this girl hugging me.

"Bitch, that's Patricia the fat girl in college," Sierra said because she knows that I'm wondering who's this girl to have the guts to embrace me. 

"So mean," Patricia said. 

"What!? Oh my goodness! You changed a lot!" 

"Yeah, that's what money does," Sierra cracked. 

"Damn you, Sierra you're still a bitch." 

We laughed and had chit-chats for hours then decided to go to the dance floor since we're already in the mood to dance because of the effect of the tequila. 

I didn't had a chance to tell him what I witnessed earlier since we're not alone, we're with Patricia.

Patricia is a victim of body shaming, everyone in our class is persecuting her. 

Slow and sexy background started playing that made the people dance erotically.

I slowly swayed my hips from left to right while my hands are travelling around my body. 

As I swayed my hips slowly someone went to my back and placed his hands on my hips. 

I can feel his body heat and I can sense that he has a well-toned body because I can feel his muscles on my back. 

He has a very manly scent that makes me wanna sniff him off.

He smells so expensive making him different from ordinary guys. 

He's following every move my hips make and I can feel something poking on my back.

He's turned on already and so am I. He started grinding on my back while I'm swaying my hips. 

He turned me which made me face him but I can't see him because my eyes were closed for the reason that I'm feeling so fragile now. 

This is all I wanted. His body warmth is making my whole spirit relaxed. 

"Open your eyes," He said. 

I slowly opened my eyes and holy guacamole.

"What the fuck!" I bawled and pushed him. 

It's the arrogant guy who's grinding behind my back for pete's sake! 

My senses came back to the point that the effect of the tequila went gone.

I started running out of that place and went home without informing the two girls. 

"Oh my goodness gracious what I have done!?" I said banging my head on my car's steering wheel. 

Every time I remember what happened in the club I started recalling what happened in his office for pete's sake! 

I wonder how many girls did he had sex with? Maybe hundreds? He must be positive in HIV now but who knows? Still, it's disgusting. 

Before sleeping I informed Sierra that I went home already. 

Ten before noon, Diane told me about my scheduled appointment with Mr.Dabal. 

"I'll message you the location after this call, just remember I want you all alone," He said.

Even though I don't want to be alone when I'm with him. I don't have any choice, but to follow that arrogant man.

I can still remember what happened last night and I'm so ashamed of that! 

"Okay." 

And deep down in my soul, I don't want to meet him anymore. I just want him out of my life.

After ending the call he sent me the restaurant's location and I immediately travelled the road to meet him in a restaurant alone as what he wanted.

If I can just turn back time, I'll never go to that club or cancel my appointment with him.

When I arrived at the entrance of the restaurant, I saw him exiting a black Lamborghini while here I am using an old Honda. 

What the hell? Now he's driving a Lamborghini? Is he really just an assistant?

He is really so suspicious, Isn't he the anonymous owner of Griffin because he was riding a billion worth of car!?

I'm ashamed to go out now that I'm parking behind a Lamborghini for pete's sake, but I have a pretty face though so who cares about my car. 

I exited my car and walked towards the restaurant's door entrance. 

"Any reservations ma'am?"

"Yes." 

"Name?" 

"Sapphirus Brigor." 

"This way ma'am." Said the staff and lead me to a VIP room. 

"Thank you," I said. 

"Enjoy and eat well," I smiled at her as a gratitude for what she said. 

Before entering the room I let out a deep breath. 

"Carol act normal and pretend that you forgot what happened yesterday," I whispered to my self. 

When I entered the room he was having a phone call, but he immediately declined it after he saw me. 

The table was full of different varieties of food and as soon as I took my seat I snack on the appetizer, so I won't be uncomfortable. 

"Hey," He said staring at me as I eat the appetizer. 

"What?" I asked looking directly into the plate where I am eating my appetizer. 

"Stop eating, let's talk first."

I rolled my eyes and stopped from what I am doing. 

"What are we going to talk about?" I said crossing my hands around my chest.

I saw him glance at my cleavage that made my brows arch.

"What do you think?" He asked sarcastically.

"I'm asking you and now you're asking me back too?" I sarcastically asked back. 

"That was rude, but I'll let it pass. The next time you talked to me like that I'll blacklist you in every agency in this country. I'm warning you," I started eating my appetizer again to ignore what he said, but I can't control my mouth. 

"Who are you to do that?" 

"Do you have manners? I told you to stop eating first because we're going to talk!" 

"We already are talking!" 

"Damn it!" He bawled and shoved the plate of my appetizer making a loud noise. 

"What the hell!?" 

"I told you to stop!" 

"Who are you to command me!?" 

"I'm your client!" 

"You know what?" I stood up and bid my last words "Leave it, I won't accept your offer anymore." 

I was about to exit the place but he started laughing like a mentally ill person.

"Too late, darling you already signed the contract the day before yesterday." 

"What?" 

"Remember when the Lobbyist asked you to sign a piece of paper?" 

Damn this man and his company. 

"So what if I did? I won't be attending any appointments with you!" 

"Darling you can't do that. Unless you wanted to live at the prison for ten years." 

"Damn you and your fucking company full of weirdos!"

"See you tomorrow," He said smiling like he won a competition. 

Ugh! If someone will let me choose between the guy in a white suit and that arrogant man, I'll choose that guy in a white suit!

"Hello! Diane?"

"Yes, miss? Please lower your voice or I'll lose my sense of hearing."

"Don't entertain any appointments with that arrogant man."

"Who is that arrogant man miss?"

"That Mr.Dabal or so whatever the fuck his name is!"

"But miss that's against the rule..."

"So what? Are you on his side? If you are then quit being my assistant," I said. 

"Yes, miss I'm on his side now I mean we already are in his side including your manager. Isn't it amazing? We don't have agency anymore since we're now under the Griffin's company! Soon you'll be the number one Glamour Model across the globe!"

"What the hell!?"

"Yes, miss!"

"Where the hell are you both?" 

"In his penthouse at the Griffin's building miss."

I threw my phone at the backseat and slammed the steering wheel of my car to let out my annoyance.

"Argh!" I squeaked. 

Damn him! Who the hell does he think he is to do that!?

Why the hell is he doing this to me? What for? He's ruining my peaceful life! 

As I entered the Griffin's building everyone is welcoming and congratulating me so forth all I can do is to smile at them.

I can't be rude towards them since I'm only mad at one person. 

When you're mad it doesn't mean that you'll include others with your anger just to let out some steam. 

"Where's Mr.Dabal?" I asked the Lobbyist, not the same Lobbyist as before. 

"There's no Mr.Dabal here Ms.Deguzman."

"That guy staying on the 29th floor. " 

"Oh! Mr.Sapphirus." 

"Did he arrived already?" 

"Yes, he's with your assistant and your manager. They're hanging out in his penthouse." 

"What floor?" 

"Thirty-th floor ma'am." 

"Okay, thanks." 

"Do you need any assistance ma'am?" 

"No, I'm fine thank you." 

"You're welcome and congratulations ma'am you're already one of us!" I smiled at her as a thank you and entered the elevator.

When I arrived at the 30th floor I opened the large door and saw him sitting on a large sofa while my assistant and manager are sitting on a single seater busy with some papers. 

"Here she is!" He bawled, grinning at me. 

"Hi, Ms.Carolina!" My assistant greeted. 

"Take a seat Carol," My manager said. 

"I have more space here sit with me instead," The arrogant guy said. 

"No, thanks. Diane and Hulyo let's go." 

"Are you coming with her?" He asked my manager and Diane. 

"No," Both of them disagree which made my jaw dropped. 

I'll never forget this betrayal.

"Even if you leave today you still need to come back here the other day because you're working under my company, so why leave? By the way, I'm Brigor Sapphirus Griffin." 

He said smiling like he hit a jackpot. 

Damn you jerk!
