Chapter 2

My make up artist is now fixing me up, I have a lot of appointments going on for today but others moved their schedule so it was lessened as well as my worries it decreased.

But the issue yesterday started popping out on articles and news.

Damn it, I'm doomed if people will make it a big deal. 

Being issued when you're a model can make a big effect on the job, maybe some of my clients will backdrop because of what happened yesterday.

I knew from myself that I didn't do anything wrong besides someone saved me because he knew that I'm in danger and the majority of people in that club saw what happened. 

But you know if someone hates you even though you're right, you'll still be wrong in their own eyes. 

"Ms.Carolina your manager has been calling you for three times," My assistant said. 

I snapped back to reality because I was driven by my thoughts and worries about what happened yesterday. 

That was the first time someone disrespected me just because of how I dress. Why can't they just normalise everything now since we're already in a contemporary style of living? 

Dignity isn't about how we dress, let people enjoy what they're wearing for pete's sake. 

"What the hell did you do yesterday? Articles are stating that you slapped someone, is it true? Did you know how damaging is getting issued?" My manager asked fuming mad. 

"Before you get mad at someone please let them explain. I just went there to hang out with Sierra, and this guy with a white suit made a scene because I spilt my juice on him. Believe it or not, I didn't do anything wrong and yes I did slap because he was disrespecting how I dress."

"What the? That's all? Then why do articles and news are making it a big deal?" 

"Yes, that's all and I don't have any idea why some articles are making it dramatic. Please do something about it or I'll be blacklisted within a day." 

"Yes, I will. Alright since the majority of the people saw what happened yesterday with you, this issue will be easy to solve. I'll handle everything don't worry and sorry." 

"It's alright. Let's go, Diane." 

We are now driving to Clover Casino my next appointment. 

"What's next after this?" I asked Diane, my assistant 

"Meeting with a client." 

"Who?" 

"Mr.Dabal, assistant of the head of Griffin Men's Magazine." 

"Okay." 

My appointment this hour is a shooting for casino's photo card and I have to be naked for this shoot. 

Nudity is part of the job besides there is nothing wrong with showing off your skin unless you're obliged to do it or you wanted it, aside from that we don't actually have to show our private parts since we're a Glamour Model, not a Pornstar. 

After the photo card's shoot, we went to Griffin's office to meet the client. 

Heads started turning and gossips start spreading when I entered the building. 

"What's your appointment ma'am?" The Lobbyist asked Diane.

"Meeting with Mr.Dabal."

"Name?" 

"Carolina Benevolent De Guzman, Glamour Model." 

"Ms.Deguzman please sign here first before we proceed to Mr.Dabal's office." 

"Okay," I said and signed in a piece of paper.

"This way ma'am," The Lobbyist said glancing at me while leading us to the elevator.

This building has 30 stories and we went all the way to the 29th floor. 

"Diane, did you brought a water?" I asked because the movement of the elevator is making me dizzy.

"I didn't miss," She answered. 

"Don't worry the office has a water and Ms.De Guzman is the only one allowed to enter the office since she's the one who has an appointment with Mr.Dabal," The Lobbyist said, I nod as an answer.

The elevator's door opened and a big wide open area with classical designs welcomed us.

"You can sit here while waiting for Ms.De Guzman," The Lobbyist told Diane.

"Sure." Diane's answer.

"This way Ms.De Guzman, please wait for Mr.Dabal he's in the restroom. If you want some water there's a water dispenser inside," The Lobbyist opened the door for me in the middle of a wide glassed wall.

"Okay thanks," I said and smiled at her.

What the heck? This is his assistant's office? 

His office is also in a classical way of design full of black and white colours.

And now that I entered I surveyed the whole area first while waiting because I'm amazed by how it is made. 

Astonishing, that's all I can say. 

I suddenly stop at the painting in the middle, it's a topless man with a bulk body wearing a blindfold sitting on a big sofa with a Lion below him. 

There's a small word written in the painting but I didn't have the chance to see it anymore because someone suddenly opened a door at the left side corner of the office. 

I was shocked. 

The guy yesterday, the one who saved me.

"Hi!" I greeted him with a smile.

"What are you doing?" He asked lacking any expression on his face while walking towards my way. 

"Uh... I'm just surveying the whole area because I-I'm amazed by the interior design and I'm actually here for Mr.Dabal," I said stuttering.

Now that I can see his face clearly, his presence is making me nervous.

He has this overawing effect which can make you uncomfortable when you're with or beside him.

"For how long have you been waiting?" He asked and sat on the sofa infront of me. 

"Not that long." 

"Okay." 

"Are you Mr.Dabal?" I asked confusingly. 

"Yes, why?"

Oh... So he's the guy I'm waiting for.

"N-nothing just shocked." 

"Why are you surprised?" He asked spreading his arms around the sofa's backrest staring at me without even blinking. 

"Uh... Cause I didn't expect that you're here. By the way, thank you for saving me yesterday," I said.

"What's your full name?" He asked without minding my last sentences. 

"Carolina Benevolent De Guzman."

"How old are you?"

"Twenty three."

"How tall are you?"

"Five feet four inches."

"Aren't you tired of standing? You look like you're about to fall on the floor anytime soon," 

I settled down quickly on a single-seater.

How can he be so comfortable? When I'm here standing infront of him wobbling like a jelly. 

"Why are you there?" He asked. 

"What?" I asked full of confusion.

"Sit here," He said tapping his right side while staring at me.

What the hell? 

I was about to stand but a bark of laughter suddenly filled the whole room. 

"You're really going to follow what I said?" He asked grinning.

"Yes," I said directly. 

"Why?" He asked turning his emotions back to serious.

"I mean no! But y-yes! Since you're my client." 

"Oh... You're going to do everything your clients say?" He asked amazed "Okay then, strip." 

"What!?" I bawled.

Why the fuck would he suddenly ask me to strip?

"You said you'll do everything your clients say right? Now I'm telling you to remove all of your clothes." 

Ugh! This guy is getting into my nerves! He was acting like a hero yesterday and look at him now! 

"I have to go and tell your boss I'm not accepting his offer," I stood up.

"Oh... Why?" He asked pretending to be sad of my departure. 

"Because his assistant is rude." 

He started laughing again like a mental hospital patient. 

"Assistant who?" He asked laughing "Do you want me to introduce my self to you, Darling? I think you don't know who you are talking to," He stood up and went closer to me. 

He tucked a strand of my hair behind my ears and whispered something. 

"I'm dangerous." 

I was confused. What is he saying? Who would name their child dangerous? Isn't it weird?

"Now leave if you don't want to accept my offer," He said having a strong expression in his face.

I slowly left the room, dumbfounded. 

"Let's go," I told Diane but she kept on asking what's happening to me "Fast!" I shouted at her.

After reaching the elevator I breathe deeply. 

"Miss do you want some water? It looks like you're running out of saliva and blood because you're so pale." 

"Yes!" I shouted and grabbed the bottle of water in her hand.

I forgot to drink water inside because of that guy, damn him! 

After drinking the water I snapped back to reality, what the hell happened to me? I mean what the hell did he do to me? Did he just hypnotize me?

"Ms.Carolina what happened with your appointment?" 

"Is he really the assistant of the Griffin's CEO!?" 

"Yes, miss he really is." 

"Goodness! I need a break, cancel all of my appointments!" 

"But miss you're already done for today." 

"Whatever! Just drive me home! I need peace and beauty rest." 

"I know miss, he's hot and it's so awkward to be around some hot guys." 

"He's not! He's scary." 

What the hell is happening to me, it's been the second time he's making me uneasy.

Yes, he saved me yesterday but he's telling me how to dress too and now he wanted to see my naked body!? If I would've known that his attitude is like that I would refuse to his offer or cancel my appointment with him. 

Every time we're in the same space I'm getting so uncomfortable except him who can even tell me to remove all of my clothes! 

Alright, I admit that he is hot! but he's scary! I hate how confident and authoritative he is, he's so arrogant and I hate everything about him! 

He's like a predator and it's dangerous to be around him when you knew you are a prey.
