Chapter 7: Greenhouse

James POV:

“I’ll inform Marcus and also keep your chopper ready for you” i said getting up from chair “okay” Samrat replied picking up his phone and dialling some number “what are you thinking to do with her” I asked curiously before going out of his study “ Who you are talking about?”Samrat questioned looking into his phone “Erica” i replied, Samrat turned his attention toward me “Why..? are you worried about that little bitch?” he questioned “No..I am...I am not worried, it’s just, what if she tries run again?” i questioned “She won’t try to do that, Derek will be keeping watch on her until am back”

he said  “ Well if you say so but i don’t think she is kind of girl who will accept it so easily” i said “I know that, i saw her eyes , there was madness to kill me” Samrat said with low chuckle “But she don’t know who she is dealing with” he added “get everything ready I’ll be there in half an hour” Samrat said and exited his study behind me.

Third person POV:

With long steps Samrat headed back to his bedroom, wher he saw erica who was lying in his bed with open eyes staring at ceiling, he moved towards her bed “Get up” Samrat ordered, Erica turned her head towards him and sat up straight on his bed, he sat in front of her and took out his mobile phone and played a video and turned it’s screen to her, erica’s eyes opened wide in shock, tear welled up in her eyes, she put her palm on her mouth “Mike..” she said in whisper, Video Samrat played was of mike surrounded by 3 men’s who were beating him repeatedly  and brutally, Samrat snatched his phone away “I am leaving for month dare to run away again and your mike won’t be breathing anymore” he spoke in dangerous tone “ I won’t...I won..t run.....but ple...ase please leave him” erica joined her hand infront of him, Samrat leaned in and kissed her forehead “Good Girl” he said in her ear, Samrat got up and went inside his closet to change, he came out wearing black silk shirt and black trouser with blazer in his hand and saw erica lying in bed her back facing towards him, her sobbing were loud enough to his ears, he smirk at her condition and left his room.

Three week later:

Third person POV:          

Erica was eating freshly cut mix fruit salads from bowl with Derek, they both were sitting on bench in middle of greenhouse which was situated at almost a mile away from Samrat mansion, it was spread across an acres of land , there were variety of herbs, fruits and flowers plants inside it, when Samrat left he asked Derek to keep watch on Erica , In last three weeks Derek had developed some feelings towards ,he showed her these place when once during their conversation Erica mentioned her likeness towards plats and hearbs, in these past 3 weeks erica’s body was completely healed, she was under proper medical observation and on healthy diet, all scars on her face and body had almost faded, her skin was glowing and looking more healthy since she came on these island, she was wearing yellow sundress and white shrug, her hairs were tied in loose bun and no makeup , she was natural beauty, her face was glowing without any makeup, In these last three week not even once thought of mike left her mind but  just for his safety she didn’t try to escape from these place, She also took a big tour of Samrat mansion with Derek , his mansion was extremely big, there were several room’s all with expensive interior and modernised merchandised , among all rooms in his mansion his bedroom was the largest one with all black interior theme, Samrat study room was on ground floor,  His mansion was as big as royal castle, except everything here was not antique but of new technology and way more costlier then a antique could be, his mansion was right at shore and was surrounded by dense forest on three side and ocean from front side, his personal swimming pool was situated right at inside ocean at shore separating it and ocean by four thick pool walls, It wouldn’t be wrong to call it as equal to size of a football stadium, from Derek she came to know that they are on Island which is owned by Samrat he dint told her name of these island though, Derek also told her that there is no way of escaping these place as there are hidden cameras everywhere and large number of body guards surrounding his mansion and forest, erica was thinking about all different ways to escape from these place but she her thoughts always ended at dead-end  “Do you know what flower is that” Derek asked bringing erica out of her own trance, erica tilted  her head to look at direction Derek was pointing “Amaryllis” erica said smiling at red flower Derek pointed out “Nice, so you know about it haa, do you know that they belong to tropical...” Derek said “They belong  to tropical lands like Caribbean, south Africa or island in south sea, it is grown from bulb and they bloom for approx 6 weeks and most important this unique exotics flower symbolizes pride, antiquity, strength and self confidence” she said interrupting Derek staring at beautiful red flower standing in corner with its glory “Beautiful” Derek said staring at erica face “what?” erica turned her head back to Derek and noticed him staring at her with intense gazed, their eyes were locked at each other, they both notice them staring at each other and awkwardly the both turned their gazed , Derek turned his face to other side and Erica look down at her bowl and took a bite of watermelon from her bowl “Sooo....which is your Favourite flower” Derek spoke to ease awkwardness between them, “Jasmine“ erica replied without turning her face “What so special about it?” Derek questioned “I have seen and smelled varieties of flower but none of them can compare to jasmine“  erica said turning to Derek with faint smile “You like them” Derek asked “I Love them” Erica replied Derek smiled to see Erica smiling with him in these past three week he has not seen her smiling not even once , “Can i have some fruits from your bowl, i finished mine” Derek said showing he his empty bowl and fork “Oh yes sure, here take” erica replied with soft smile offering him her bowl, Derek took bit of watermelon piece from her bowl and hummed in pleasure, they both were enjoying fruits together from Erica bowl when derek noticed someone’s presence from corner of his eyes, Erica shifted her eyes to follow Derek gaze, She saw two sharp eyes approaching them, Erica got up from her seat and fruit bowl in her hand fell on floor shattering fruits pieces all over floor, Derek got up with her and found Samrat approaching them. Samrat came stood in front of erica, his eyes were looking murderous and staring straight into Erica eyes.
