Out of happiness. Yes, happiness and joy. He couldn't believe Grace is pregnant with his baby. He's going to be a father. He always loved children and wanted one of his own, and when he found Grace bearing his baby, he's the happiest person in the world.

He ran towards Grace, making her whimper in fear, she thought Aaron's going to harm her unborn baby but what he did shook her to the core.

Aaron hugged her tightly. He wrapped his strong protective arms around her waist tightly but carefully as to not squish her tummy. For the first time in their two years of marriage, Aaron hugged her. For the second time in her life, her mate hugged her. First, when they discovered each other as mates when Aaron hugged her. She doesn't know how to react. She has frozen in her spot.

"Love! Goodness, I am so happy. I am going to be a father. I can't believe it."

He called her love.. the nickname he never gave her. His voice is not the cold and emotionless that he used to talk to....his eyes are not disinterested or annoyed... it's filled with joy and warmth.

Grace can't believe what she's seeing. A huge smile on her mate's face. The smile she never saw in her two years of being with Aaron.   She never saw the happy face and warmth that floods from her mate's scent when she's with him.

She's still frozen in her spot, looking at Aaron like she saw the ghost. Her eyes widen and tears still run down her face, her heart pumping so fast she's sure Aaron can hear her crazy heartbeats.

She thought she's dreaming. Yeah, she must be dreaming because then why Aaron,  who never once looked at her for more than 3 seconds. How can he hold her so delicately and smile at her so beautiful? Why his eyes will show a happy emotion, it's impossible.

But her thoughts came to an abrupt stop when she felt something soft on her forehead. The almost unnoticed touch. Her breath hitched because...

Aaron just kissed her forehead.

He never did that before, never even once. She's not dreaming. Aaron is holding her in his protective arms. Her mate is happy. He kissed her forehead. Her mate called her with a nickname.

She came out of her trance and looked at Aaron who's smiling at her so beautifully, almost lovingly. She smiled for the first time in the past two years, and she smiles today so genuinely. Her heart is beating crazy, but this time out of happiness.

Her mate accepted their baby. Her mate is happy. She can't put into words how relieved she's feeling right now. She sobs in relief and utter happiness.

"You're h-happy?" Grace asked.

"Of course I am, why wouldn't I be". he answered excitedly

He caressed her tummy, lovingly smiling at her. He caressed Grace's cheeks to make the tears wiped away from the tip of his thumb and hugged her again. Grace hugged him back tightly, still crying that her mate accepted them.

She never knows that their baby will be the reason that Aaron will accept her as his mate and will surely love her in future. Her baby is not even born yet, and it already gave her her most immense happiness by making her mate's cold heart melt for her.

She was afraid of nothing.

She again got hope. This time she's sure her hope will become a reality. She's sure their baby will make them into a loving family. And they will live happily ever after.

She started dreaming of having a beautiful family with her mate and their baby from that day. She started smiling more. She is again feeling happy and healthy.

Now Aaron always makes skinship with her. He always gives her kisses and smiles at her more. He cuddles her to sleep at night, making her feel so protected and loved. He also makes love with her. He holds her delicately and makes sure about her health and stuff.

She thought she got everything she wants. She doesn't want anything now as she gets Aaron attention and love, which was everything for her.

But not every time what we think or see is real...

She was living in a delusional that she thinks we're real. Because the reality of her life was something else that she didn't know will break her fully this time. She was not leaving a single small piece to bind her again.
