His Mansion

Emily

Finally...... I thought finally everything has ended, now no more faking and masking a smile on my face but no god is making me repent for the sins that I don't remember I have ever done, maybe in the last life or so.

Here I am in front of his black limousine and this man is asking me to get in, but how should I tell him that I can't because I get suffocated in an enclosed space and starts hyperventilating. But I remember Rachel's words, "Emily this is not the time to be weak but be strong and have a fighting spirit" thus I get in, hoping his place won't be that far. 

He got in from the other side and order the driver to move. I thought to ask him to let the windshield down but seeing that killer look on his face I drop the idea.

The soothing air of the AC was helping me to calm down and to divert myself the only idea that pops up in my mind was to take a nap so that I will forget my surrounding... to my surprise it worked, someone jerked me up from my sleep, a lady in uniform maybe a maid when I open my eyes I realized we reached the destination. 

The Destination... Seriously this is not a house but a damned mansion no a castle. I don't know what's awaiting me here because at present I am not at all in my right sanity to bear any further drama.

The maid with a lovely smile, with all the politeness, asked me to enter this place and as I enter it the view was like a museum, everything was unique including the furniture and the antiques were placed on different pillars that make a passageway. I just hope I don't have to stay here for long. 

"Myself lucy", the maid who was standing beside me introduced herself and I with the same pleasing smile replied "Emily".

"Would you like to have some food or should I show you your room?" she asked with all the gentleness 

"No thanks... Please show me the room, I am really tired" I told her and she escorted me to the room, she asked me to let her know through the cordless if any help is needed, with that she left. 

As all my energy is drained out the only thing that I can see now and think of was the bed. As soon as my head hit the soft cushion I was drifted off to a deep slumber....without care in the world, the way Rachel used to encourage me.

After meeting all the guest and bearing Zain's childish attitude we were done with the reception and left the venue for home. Emily... Is her name, that I came to know when her friends called her, she was zoning out every time... I don't know what was going on in her mind because for sure she was not at all happy with this arrangement. 

Once we were out I asked her to get in the car but she was shell shocked... Maybe she has seen the limousine for the first time in her life but then the other minute she got in.

I don't know how I am going to manage but of course, I was hell angry and was not ready to face her. As we reached home I turn towards her to see she was drifted off to sleep.

Seriously what is this girl, how is she able to sleep in a situation like this but I thought it's better not to talk to her right now and the driver opens the door for me, I got down without waking her up.

After giving my maid some necessary instructions I asked her to get Emily in and without waiting for her I went to my room. I was in deep shit that I know only alcohol can cool me down, so I got on the barstool and started chugging on it like water. 

I don't know when I slept but the way my head was spinning I knew that this headache is not gonna go easily. After getting sober up I prepared myself to face her and talk the things out but as soon as I entered the dining area Lucy was arranging it and she was nowhere to be found.

I got settled down and asked Lucy about Emily, Lucy informed me that she has not gotten down yet. When I inquired about yesterday she told me that she didn't ask for food and without saying anything went to the room after that she didn't saw her till now.

Finally, I ask lucy to go and bring her down for breakfast, with that she left. 

"Sir, madam said that she is not hungry..she will let me know when she requires anything," Lucy notified me after coming from her room 

"What is she doing, didn't she woke up till now", I got angry with Emily's attitude to which Lucy replied, "No sir she is awake and was working on her laptop, reasonably looking really engaged with the work"

I don't understand what should I do because this girl didn't ate anything yesterday and how she managed not to feel hungry till now. Also don't know if she has anything to discuss or say.

After a lot of fight with my thoughts, I decided to end this once and for all by talking to her...
