THE MARRIAGE CEREMONY

TWO DAYS AFTER

Finally, Antonio and Natasha's  marriage ceremony was on. The house was beautifully and heavily decorated with blue and white colours and flowers, making the place glitter with beauty like the heavens. 

People kept trooping in and out of the mansion for the ceremony.

Gina, Agnes and Lizzy were extremely busy with the arrangement and meals for the ocassion.

" Lizzy.....", Gina called

" Yes...what is it...? I have to get to the bakery for the cake before the ceremony begins..why are you calling..be fast about it..."

She cried, rushing towards Gina at the kitchen.

" I need you to pass by the super market for some foodstuffs please.... I can't go at the moment else things will get messed up over here..."

" But Agnes can take charge while you rush over and return in a ......"

" what..., Lizzy, are you kidding me....how can you suggest such a thing? how do you expect me to keep that...that...dump head in charge...?"

Gina exclaimed nervously.

" its alright... I have to get going..I will get them for you...", said Lizzy, dashing out of the house in a hurry.

GISELLA'S ROOM

Knock... Knock...

" Gisella...honey....,"Antonio called from the door.

" yes..dad..come in...", she answered from the window side, looking out at the people trooping in.

Antonio opened the door slowly, peeping.

" hey..how is my girl....why are you by the window ,looking so down..." ,he uttered, moving slowly to her end.

" (sighs), I'm fine...dad...", she replied faintly.

" hey...come here..."

He lifted her and placed her on his laps. 

" You don't need to look so down honey....,you know daddy love you and whatever I am doing is for your own good( peck on her cheek). I promise to take you out when everything is settled. "

"really dad...is that really a promise...?", she brightens up.

" yes...baby..pinky pro..."

" Antonio...., please let's go...don't let us keep the people waiting anymore.....", a voice cuts in.

" Natasha...., I will be with you shortly. I need to get Gisel ready for the cere...."

"Antonio..,there is no need we bring her along...,have you forgotten people get scared at the sight of her....? Do you want everyone to ditch our special day...?", 

she queried cunningly, stealing glances at Gisella with a smirk.

" oh..yes.., i nearly forgot....,Gisella dear, please you need to stay in your room for today...daddy will be with you shortly after everything,okay...kisses..."

" Let's go..now....", she uttered, pulling him out of the room.

Gisella sat by the window, sad, with tears running down her eyes as she watch them exit her room.

" dad...I wish you really know how I feel right now...(sobs). She is not the woman you think she is..."

The hall was soon filled with friends, families and loved ones of the soon to be couples laughing, chatting and exchanging pleasantries.

" Good morning.., ladies and gentlemen. Let's get straight to the reason of our gathering... ",

a voice called from the center of the occasion, drawing their attention to him.

" Let's welcome our bride and groom for the occasion....",he announced happily.

The people shouted happily, applauding as they welcome Antonio and Natasha in.

" wow...don't they look beautiful and perfect together....", a voice shouted.

Soon everything was set and in no time, they were declared husband and wife.

" Congratulations...dear," a voice called behind them.

They turned to the direction of the voice. It was Mrs Theodora, Natasha's mother. 

" Thank you..mum...", they chorused happily. 

" I am so happy for you..dear ", she uttered , hugging her daughter.

"So am i mum..., thank you so much for coming. I am so happy to see you..."

Natasha replied.

Antonio and Natasha went round, greeting and thanking their guest for honouring their invitation.

Some of them, presented gifts and parcels to bless their new union.

Hours later, everything finally came to an end. All the guest left for their respective homes. 

Gina, Lizzy and Agnes were left alone to tidy up the place after the ceremony.

" what...a..mess...?, I am too tired to do this..I am off to bed...", Agnes cried.

" you lazy bones..where do you think you are going..?", Gina and lazy exclaimed, pulling her back to the hall.

" Less I forget.., did to feed Gisella today..?, Gina asked worriedly.

" oh..gosh.. how could I forget...? I didn't remember, i was so busy with the guest.."

" What...Agnes...", they exclaimed nervously and dashed out to Gisella's room.

" what...?", she yelled and followed them.

Knock.... Knock....

Gisel...., Gisella...open the door

They called, knocking the door vehemently but there was no answer. They immediately forced the door open and badged in.

Gisella laid on the floor, unconscious.

" Gisella... Gisel...", they cried and rushed to her side.

"Gisella... please open your eyes...please...", Gina called, holding her in her arms and caressing her cheeks.

" she is not waking up...", Lizzy cried.

" oh..God... what have I done...Gisel please wake up...", Agnes cried with tears in her eyes.

" Hurry...call Mr. Antonio.., let's rush her to the hospital "

" okay..."

Lizzy dashed out of the room. 

" I will go get some water....", Agnes uttered.

" Forget... it..., let's take her  downstairs ", Gina cried angrily.

Knock... Knock....

" sir...., sir Antonio... ", Lizzy called nervously.

" what is it ..,Lizzy...", Antonio answered from the room.

" Its Gisella....."

" What is wrong...with...Gisella...?"he asked worriedly, rushing of the room.

" Gisella has blacked out..., I don't know what happened but isn't moving.. "

" what...where is she..."

" downstairs.... "

Antonio, Lizzy and Natasha rushed down to check on her.

Antonio got to the hall and saw her daughter, lying unconscious on the sofa.

" Gisel...", he cried, shaking her ,nervously but to no avail.

" Get..my car keys..now....", he called.

Seconds later, Lizzy got down with they keys. He took the keys and dashed out with Gisella. Natasha and Gina followed suit.

" You guys should stay and take care of the house", 

Gina called at Lizzy and Agnes.

" alright....", they chorused.
