MY FIRST FRIEND ( MY LONG TERM CRUSH)

TWO YEARS AFTER

THE BRILLIANTS SCHOOL COMPLEX

It was a sports day at " The Brilliants School Complex". All the students were happily and busily getting ready for the match between the "Roses" and " Dandelions " of the school and Gisella's class was no different but no one was ready to mingle with her because of her nature.

" Come on..guys..., let's join the rest at the field and leave this wiredo here....the sight of her alone disgust me...(chuckles)",Loretta called to her friends, nudging Gisella' s head.

" Sure...such a bad luck she is...", Bianca and Paola teased, chuckling as they follow Loretta  out of the class.

Gisella sat in the class alone with her ghost friend Annabel looking desolated.

" Is okay...Gisel, know that I am always your friend and will be by your side whenever you need me", Annabel consoled, tickling her."

" ( laughs), stop it Ann, its tickling.... "

" What is tickling...Gisel. And why are you all alone, laughing all by yourself...who is Ann...?", a voice cuts in from the entrance of the class.

She swiftly raised her head towards the direction of the voice, panicked. It was Mr. David, their class teacher.

" Nothing...sir..., I was just about leaving... ", she stammered nervously, picked her stuff and walked pass him hastily to avoid further questions.

" This girl is really strange.....", he murmured and left the class in a daze.

THE SCHOOL'S LOCKER ROOM

Gisella hurriedly entered the room and locked the door behind her.

" (sighs), that was really close...let me get ready before.... "

" Before what.. Gisel...actually..., I feel like playing with you alone....at the moment.... ", Loretta called from a corner of the room,  approaching her.

" I don't want to play with you..please leave me alone...", she called moving backwards but suddenly hits the locker behind her and stops.

Loretta laughed heartily as she approach her with her friends.

" Going ...somewhere...? ( chuckles). Nope I guess no because there is no way you can escape from me or you'll call your invisible friends..."

She laughed and pushed her so hard to the floor, causing her head to hit locker.

" Ouch....", Gisel winced in pain with blood oozing down her head.

" Oops...does it hurt....?, Should I call the nurse or your evil powers will do..bastard...evil..girl.....",

 Loretta uttered with a sneer about to hit her again, suddenly, a hand held hers back in the air.

" Ouch...you are hurting me..let go off my hand....", she cried and turned swiftly to see who it was.

" Don't you ever touch her again or I'll break this your  filthy hand.....", the voice warned angrily.

" Desmond....?, what are you doing here and how does my issue with Gisel concern you....?", She asked arrogantly, flirting.

" Get over yourself Lore...., I know what you have been doing to this poor girl ever since grade 2. You better be careful now because henceforth, whenever you attack her..know that you are asking for mine troubles... now get lost..."

He uttered in a cold voice making Loretta and her friends tremble in fear.

" Fine...we are leaving....", she yelled and threw a glare at Gisella.

" Let's go guys...", she called to her friends.

They threw a quizzical look at her and followed her out of the room.

" Can I be your friend...?", he asked with a contagious smile, lending a hand to her.

" Um...are you sure of this...?, she asked skeptically.

" yeah....are you okay if I be your friend...", Desmond the most handsome ,sport maniac, and her long term crush, in class approached her, concerned.

" yeah... why not...and thanks for the hand earlier on....", she uttered with a smile.

" But..you are bleeding... "

" Don't worry...I will check that at the infirmary. "

" No...I insist...what are friends for..?let me take you there myself..."

" okay...if you insist....", she uttered sheepishly.

He held her hand, helped her up from the floor and led her out to the school's clinic

Loretta stood at the field, all pissed off.

" Who does that Desmond think he is....?. Who is he to interrupt my fun...", she cried angrily.

" calm down Lore....have you forgotten... you have been crushing on him for the past years, you shouldn't have acted the way you did earlier on with him. That was your golden chance to get him but you just spill it out of anger..", Paola uttered defensively.

" yeah...Lore...I agree with Paola...that wasn't right.....",Bianca  supported.

"To hell with him....so far as he chose that cursed girl over me...., I hate him and am done with any crush I ever had for him. I will so get back at him for disregarding and disgracing me in front of that nobody, Gisella".
