15 minutes before the crash at the hospital.
Daniel sat at the chair in the doctor's lounge. He was staring at the ceiling looking pale and anxious. His grey eyes carried many complicated emotions. His brown wavy slightly long hair looked messy as if he hadn't brushed it in a while He looked handsome even when it has been 48 hours since he last slept but that wasn't what was making him stare at the ceiling like a crazy man.
"hey Daniel , are you ok ,you have been zoning out lately .is it because of her ?" This was said by a tall man with clean light brown eyes and long hair that was tied with a hair tie from the back and he wore doctor's scrubs and looked like he had finished his surgery.He entered the lounge and looked at his friend. He found Daniel staring dumbfounded at the ceiling. He found the sight of his friend saddening. It made the mood in the room so dull so as a good friend he decided to ask him as a way to try to lift the mood.
"she said I am always busy with patients and I have no time for her so she started seeing someone else. I told her fine then she started crying and she slapped me. She was the one that cheated. I should be the angry one."
Daniel told him the reason as to why the ceiling looked so soothing at that moment. He didn't care about his girlfriend and his friend (Dennis ) knew that too. He didn't care if she cheated or if she ws angry at him for not being jealous. He was worried about something way worse.
"shit man and what are you going to do with the thanks giving dinner " Dennis asked about the elephant in the room. Daniel had to go with a girlfriend to that Thanksgiving dinner or he will meet his demise. Dennis vowed to himself that he would give Daniel a good burial if the worst case scenario would happen.
"oh don't remind me !!" Daniel said with an annoyed tone. He didn't know what to do. He had a feeling that this day was a bad day. He also had a really bad feeling about that Thanksgiving dinner. He had no idea what he would do.
"I pity you man , just go home and I will cover for you .it looks like you haven't slept in days" Dennis knew that if he let his friend stay then this room would turn into a suffocating graveyard. As his friend and one of the doctors here he had to do something and lifting the mood didn't turn well so he decided to make him go far away from the hospital.
"thank you Dennis, I owe you" Daniel didn't catch on what Dennis was planning. He was more focused on his problem that he had no way of knowing how to solve it.
"yeah yeah just go" Dennis told him with a smile and waves him goodbye while sitting on the same chair that Daniel previously sat on.
Daniel left the hospital and went to the garage. He headed to his red sports car. He always loved that car. It suffered a lot with him. He didn't know that it would be used to save two lives. He opened the car's door and started driving. He was heading to his apartment. He really was looking forward to having a good shower to relieve his stress.
he never thought that he would return back to the hospital without sleeping .
while he was driving in peace, a car came out of nowhere and crashed into the barricade and flipped upside down. He looked surprised.
"idiots can't they see". He knew this day couldn't get any worse. At least that car didn't hit him. He thought that the driver was drunk as he/she crashed straight into the barricade. It felt like it was intentional.something was really fishy about this accident. For now he decided to save lives first and know the details later. He came out of his car. He looked around and realized he wasn't the only witness.
The screams for help echoed in he street. They were anxious screams afraid of death. There were no cries just fear of death. Daniel went to help the lady who started those echoing screams.
he opened the broken car door and told the other witnesses to help him move the injured to his car cause the ambulance will take a while. He knew his car would be faster and he would let these patients in easily as he not only worked there. He was the owner of the hospital.
"I am a doctor and the hospital is a five minute ride .can you please help?" He said that to everyone. He needed people to help him get the patients out. He didn't want to be a reason for their death.
everyone started moving and opened the car but someone gasped as soon as he saw the face of the driver
