The awaited dinner

As Daniel's driver stopped at his destination Daniel took a deep breath and wished that this day would end quickly and safely.

He came out of the car and looked around. It was the same mansion where he grew up in. Where he got disowned. The mansion looked elegant. It was like one of the king's castle. The gates were too high. The garden was taken good care of as it was apparent due to the sparkle iand the glow that the flowers and leaves emit. He walked through the garden till he reached the door's mansion. It was a wooden door. It looked old but that only showed its elegance. 

He entered the great mansion and met his first member of the family. He felt happy as soon as he saw him

"oh Daniel long time no see brother .why won't you visit me. You know I am not like the rest of the family right. Please visit sometime " James hugged his brother and started nagging him about him not visiting his new house.

"I am glad you are the first one I meet James ." He returned his brother's hug and it was a great brotherly sight. 

"so it's true you broke up with her"James said with a chuckle. He was secretly trying to get some scandals as his work mostly revolved about scandals.

"news travels fast "Daniel became more anxious. 

"yep , what's your plan"

James said with sparkling grey eyes. James looked a lot like Daniel but the hair color was different. Daniel's hair was brown while James was fair and ofcourse James's body was slightly thinner as he spent more time dancing than Daniel although they both hare talented dancers. Rumors say that if Daniel had pursued dancing he would have been way better than James but Daniel was always irritated by these rumors as it meant that James hard work was for nothing.people never actually knew that for Daniel to reach this level he also practiced like hell. Sometimes it was to the point where he would prefer to cut off his legs to get rid of the pain.

"head for the kill" Daniel answered James's question.

"so no plan"James said while sighing

"is it that obvious" Daniel said while cursing in his thoughts. He would have never thought that he would be cursing the whole night.

"sadly yes " James said while patting his brother's back.

Their short discussion was interrupted by their parents who looked at their son as if he was a disappointment even though he became someone to be proud of. They were both elegant. His mother wore a blue dress that made her look twenty years younger with the help of make up. His father was also wearing a tuxedo that amplified his Aura.

"will you stop with that look ,I am going inside" Daniel said in a sad tone. He stopped caring but it was still hard 

"you are the last one to come so let's start the dinner" his father told him as Daniel went inside

on the long dinning table there were a total of eight people excluding Daniel, Daniel's brother  and his parents .

At the center was his grandfather (from his father's side) Daniel usually called him Gramps ,his aunt (Mavis) and uncle (Link) next to him from both sides  with their daughters and sons (Miranda , Larry , Zara , Carol )  next to them ,finally his mother's brother pierce (other uncle) .

Daniel took the seat opposite to his other uncle pierce and James took the seat next to him.their mother seat next to her brother,their father sat at the last empty chair opposite to his father  .

the hellish dinner began with a five minute silence then his grandpa tried to clear the awkward silence and spoke to him

"Daniel my dearest grandchild ,how are you?"

his grandpa was considered a person who cares for him more than his father .that was enough reason for Daniel to respect him and love him dearly. He would never forget what the did to him. It was like saving his life.

"I am doing well ,thank you Gramps and how are you?"

"as Scar said in Lion King I am always surrounded by idiots"

his grandpa responded while taking a wide look at the table and it made Daniel and James laugh silently. They tried to hold it in as much as they could

"cut them some slack Gramps .you are considered an annoying person" Daniel teased his grandpa but he didn't just let him do that. 

"not as annoying as you Daniel" Gramps returned the teasing and that made some people on the table feel anger and resentment towards Daniel. Luckily to Daniel it wasn't his cousins. It was their parents and his father was also one of the ones who resented that relation.

"I hear that a lot lately"Daniel said as he remembered Sera. 

"let me guess from your ex girlfriend" his father responded sarcastically. He was trying to make his son feel embarrassed.

"from my new girlfriend" Daniel said that without thinking and he knew he screwed up big time but it made the whole table surprised and opening their jaws ,some from happiness like his brother ,grandpa , mother and his cousin Miranda (from his aunt) the rest was afraid because of the inheritance as there was a rule that if the oldest grandson gets married , Gramps will give him 20% of the shares in all the companies. Daniel never actually cared about these stuff but he was tired and was suffocating from all the staring and judging. He was unable to think , breath or do anything. He felt like he was screwed. There was only one stupid plan on his mind and it could make him get into more troubles. He had to find another way. 

"and who might she be? "the father asked with discontent that made Daniel more angry. His father knew that he broke up. He couldn't possibly get a new girlfriend that quickly. His moles at the hospital would have told him. He knew his son was lying and that made it his chance to teach him a lesson.
