Sera looked at her two friends in an alarmed way and started talking as soon as the the door was closed by Daniel

"Tell me the bad news" Sera knew they came here for the bad news cause they already called her and checked up on her. They agreed to not visit her so why did they come Sera asked herself.

Ruby looked at Alex then her eyes gazed at sera's eyes 

"the interim chief of your entertainment agency is having troubles with your sister's company . I think she is going to show her true colors." 

Sera looked sad upon hearing what her friend said. Their parents always adored Anna. They even gave her her own entertainment agency that she is about to debut in. Anna never knew that she was the only reason her agency didn't bankrupt. 

" I figured . you need to take care of this problem cause I am stuck in this hospital for a long time " Sera told them while hiding her sadness but they both knew how se felt after all they were always together. No. One knows it except the three of them.

"what really happened ?" Alex asked in an investigative tone

Sera took her twenty minutes to tell them what happened and the look of surprise didn't leave their  face once.

Alex was the first to comment with his surprised face.

" this is bad,  what are you going to do?"

" I am going to stay at the hospital for about a year"  

"that's too long , are you going to be okay? ". Ruby asked while guessing her friend's answer

" a year is a year  , just don't let me get bankrupt " Sera told Ruby jokingly.

"that should be your least worries" Alex told her with a pat on her bandaged shoulder.

"well,we should get going  .we will come back soon" 

Ruby said that while gathering her things from the table. Sera told them not visit cause it might cause rumors and they don't want another problem.

Two months after her friend's visit , Daniel wore a tuxedo and headed to Sera's room to show her his elegance and gain self confidence as he was going to his family's thanks giving dinner. He had a bad feeling about today and knew something will happen. He reached her room and the door was open. He turned around to show her his outfit.

"so how do I look?" Daniel asked with a sad face.

"handsome but grumpy and sad" Sera sighed with pointing at her smiling at her face to make him do the same.

"come on , cut me some slack I am dying  inside" Daniel started blabbering about how depressed he is.

"don't stress too much you will do just fine"

 sera tried to calm him down but it felt like putting water on a fire caused by oil. He was still depressed  and anxious. His bad feeling is usually right on

"let's talk about you till my driver arrive. did anyone other than your friend's visit"

"Well most of them were my colleagues and directors. Most of the crew that I work with came" Sera said while trying to remember who else visited the last two months. 

"Well you aren't a loner anymore. I am proud " Daniel. Cried fake tears as he was being sarcastic.

"Did anyone visit Mark ??" 

"comma guy, well Dennis told me  his fiance came once before you were concious. His parents , his cousins and a friend. Ofcourse they still don't know details as we can't disclose it without your permission. But it looked like his fiance knew about both of you"

" Don't say it as if there was something between us. I set him straight. I told him about how I felt."

" You didn't do anything wrong I was joking I am sorry. Did your parents visit ? " Daniel tried to change that subject.

"well my parents are coming tommorow so I think she will accompany them or not. I think she hates me. She always had but I blame my parents for that." Sera said with a sad tone. She knew the truth but she was ignoring it. She lied to herself cause the truth hurt her a lot.

"You will be fine" Daniel tried to cheer her up

" Will you be fine ? "  Sera asked him with a sarcastic face.

"I spent twenty six years of my life dealing with them I can handle it besides it can't be as bad as the one six years ago I got disowned so what's worse !?" 

Daniel's phone rang and it was his driver he took a deep breath and tried to relax. He said his goodbyes to Sera 

"wish me luck cause I don't want to die today" 

He closed the door behind and went to his car ride. 

He attended last year's dinner after five years. It wasn't bad as everyone welcomed him to the family and they brought up the marriage stuff. He felt like it was suffocating. He knew there were people who respected and loved him in that family but there were also snakes waiting for him to fall.

He found his phone ringing and that distracted him from his thoughts. The caller was his brother James.

"Hey James !! Why are you calling " Daniel asked him curiously

" Well I came early and I only like you in this family and grandpa and mom but mom is busy and Grandpa hasn't arrived yet. I am lonely Danny !!" 

James said in a childish tone. Daniel loved his brother very much. He sometimes regretted following his dreams cause James was the one who became what the family wanted me to be but James never blamed him and that made Daniel feel guilty. He and Gramps were the only ones who called him after he was cut off from the family even his mother couldn't disobey her husband for the sake of her child. 

" Don't worry James I am almost there. I will come play with you. " Daniel teased his brother for being a childish brat. 

" Hahaha I will wait for you outside. Don't make me wait too long" James told him with the same childish tone and hung up. Daniel couldn't help but laugh as he missed his brother.
