She reloaded her gun, pointing it at her target, pressing her finger against the trigger, making a bullet travels through the barrel of the gun, hitting the target right between its eye.

As she was about to take another shot the door opened. She quickly turned around, aiming the gun at the intruder.

The 'intruder' was no other than her older brother, Andrey. "It's just me." She lowered her gun.

"What do you want?" She asked as she placed her Walther PPK (.380 ACP) in her bag.

"Let's go." Walking out of the shooting range, she went inside his car.

Starting the car he drove off.

After a good 20 minutes, they were at the Russian manor, getting out the car they walked inside.

"Good night, Miss and Mr Petrov." One of their many maids said. "Come this way." Following her, they were led to their father's office.

They knocked on the door, once they heard a come in they entered. There sat Anton, he was smoking a cigar, their mother stood beside him.

"Children." She greeted them.

"Mother." They greeted back.

"Father you called for us?" Andrey asked.

"I did, tonight we're going to the Ball." Shock took over their blank faces.

"Why? we never go." Andrey asked.

"Well I heard that the Italian Mafia is gonna be there, and I see this as an opportunity to form an alliance."

"Is there a dress code?" Andrey asked.

"Red for females and black for males."

"Natalia I bought some dresses for you, they're on your bed." Natalia nods at her mother.

"Is that all?" She asked her father.

"Yes, the ball starts at nine, be ready by then." Nodding, Natalia and her brother walked out of the room.

"What time is it now?" Natalia asked her brother.

He looked at his watch. "7:56 PM."

"Great, I have an hour to do everything."

"Better get started." He said to her she nodded before walking off, going into her room.

She laid on her bed for a few minutes before she took a shower, after that she began to do her hair and makeup.

- 1 hour and a few minutes later -

She had finally chosen the dress she wanted to wear.

As soon as she fixed her heels, Andrey came in.

"You know there's a reason doors were made. They weren't made for show so next time knock when you come in."

Rolling his eyes he nodded. "You ready?"

"Yep." She said whilst taking her red clutch before walking out the room, while her brother followed behind.

They walked downstairs, where they saw their parents talking.

"We're ready," Natalia said making them turn.

"About time, let's go." Her father said, no one made any move of disobeying his order.

They walked outside to the car.

"Ok, first of all, no weapons are allowed at the ball so hand them over."

Her mother, Nicole, sighed and took out the gun from her purse putting it on safety and the knife from her dress pocket.

Andrey took out the gun from his pants and putting it on safety as well.

Natalia took out the gun from her purse putting on safety, before giving her father, who placed the gun and knife into a bag.

A limousine drove up stopped and the door was opened by the driver.

"Let's go." Everyone went in expect Natalia.

"I'll take my car, I can not stand to be in a room with you all at once."

"Dear let the girl do what she wants," Nicole said to him, he sighed before saying.

"Fine," Natalia smirked, going to the garage choosing her car of choice.

She chose her Audi R8 V10, sliding inside the car, she started it, opening the garage door.

She drove pretty quickly to the event, reaching there in a matter of 10 minutes.

Driving up to the red carpet, she stepped out the car, cameras flashed. The valet came up to her, she threw the key to him before walking down the carpet.

Even though she was in the Mafia she had to have a cover-up, she was a model a very famous one, and her father's cover was being a world-famous businessman.

"Natalia over here!" The paparazzi shouted.

Natalia took a few photos before going inside.

As soon as she walked in everyone turned to her.

She knew the reason for that was because she was late. She kept her head high, looking over the crowd to find her parents, one she found them she walked over to them.

"You took your time." Her father commented.

"Why are we here again?" Natalia asked. She could feel eyes on her, tracing her figure it sent goosebumps all over her body.

Before her eyes could meet the person's, her brother spoke.

"To make an alliance with the Italian Mafia." He looked at her, she was just staring out in space. "Are you even listening to me?" She shook her head.

"It's a habit, your voice annoys me, so over the years I've learned to ignore you."

"I feel the love." He said sarcasm dripping from his words. She rolled her eyes.

"Anyway, what were you say?" She asked.

"We're here to make an alliance with the Italian Mafia."

"You do know when I asked that, it was a rhetorical question." She chuckled.

"Whatever." He rolled his eyes.

A waiter passed by with drinks on a tray. Natalia's eyes sparkled as she saw the red wine.

"I'll be right back," Natalia said before they could blink she disappeared.
