Chapter 7 {Fiancé}

“Fiancé”

Third Person View;

Yesterday in NY.

Two businessman tycoons together with their wives were having dinner at a five-star restaurant. They were talking about the marriage arrangement of their heirs so that their businesses will be much powerful and be the biggest company worldwide.

Mr. Hirsch took a sip in his wine before talking to Mr.&Mrs. Stanford, "So the arrangement is already settled when will be their wedding?" Mr. Hirsch asked them.

Their two wives just smile, "A week after we informed our daughter besides our daughter Lilyane already transferred to your University. Your son and my daughter will surely meet, or even much more." Mr.&Mrs. Stanford smiled and offered them to have a toast.

It's almost 2 o'clock in the morning.

Alaister was sleeping peacefully then she was taken aback to her senses by the sound of her phone, her mother is calling and Alaister answered the call immediately. She got up from the bed and walked away she went to the veranda so that her best friend Aeshe will not be disturbed in her sleep.

She yawned before speaking to her mom, "Hello mom ..." she tried to make her voice happy.

"Hi sweetie I'm sorry did I wake you up?" Alaister's mother asked gently. Alaister immediately shook her head even if her mom can't see that, before speaking to her mom again,

"No, it's okay mom. Uhm is there something wrong? Because it's rare for you to call me in this early in the morning. "Alaister replied to her mother.

"Nothing sweetie I just wanted to inform you and congratulate you" her mom happily said that to Alaister who is now wondering what her mother is saying.

"Inform me, about what? And why are you congratulating me, mom, it's just my first day being a senior high in Stanford University, I am not yet graduating as senior highschool mom- "Alaister immediately stopped speaking because of what her mother said and she did not hear it clearly.

"Wait mom I didn't hear much of what you've said," Alaister said to her mother.

"I told you that you were going to marry your fiancé this week" her legs immediately trembles as she heard it from her mother.

She is about to marry a man she doesn't know and her mom is saying that the wedding will happen this week! She leaned against the wall to keep herself from falling and forced herself to say something to her mom, "Mom please tell me that you're just kidding me! Tell me, mom! " She barely screamed at the last word she uttered.

Her mother was a little surprised at her daughter's attitude "Lilyane don't shout at me, I am your mom. And I'm sorry to disappoint you but I'm not joking about what I've said earlier to you. "

Her daughter remained silent and didn't speak so she continued to speak.

"The marriage arrangement has been put in place by the two of you because you are the heir of the Hirsch Group of Companies. And he is the heir of Stanford Mega Engineering and Clive's Wine production and other company owned by them."

She breathed a deep sigh before she talked again"Okay mom I understand that business is business and you're just doing this for my own good ." Her mom breathed a sigh of relief she was not surprised that her daughter would understand her, Alaister is smart after all.

"But when will I meet my fiancé mom??" Her daughter asked her a quick question and she immediately replied.

"Your fiancé? He is also a student at Stanford University, they are the owners of that University. Maybe his father already told him about your wedding. Maybe you'll see him later." Alaister nodded even though her mother couldn't see it.

"Thanks, mom, don't worry I won't mind even if you and dad is wants me to marry a stranger. I didn't know I was going to marry a man at a very young age." Her mom can sense the frustration and sadness in her daughter's tone when she said those words to her.

"Bye mom I love you please tell dad that I love him too. " Alaister didn't wait for her mother to respond because she immediately turned off the call. Alaister was frustrated she was crying in frustration about the thought that she has a fiancé and they're getting married this week. She's still crying and cursing and now Alaister is sleeping on the veranda's floor.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Carmilla Zhy Hirsch was about to speak to her daughter but her daughter already dropped the call. She just sighed and went to the meeting room it's 3 pm and the meeting will start soon.

Fast forward;

Alaister woke up and she was shocked when she realized she had just fallen asleep on the veranda. She immediately got up from sitting on the floor and quickly went to their room to wake her sleeping friend.

She first glanced at the wall clock and saw that it was about six o'clock in the morning, they're going to be late.

"Aeshe wake up! It's our first day of attending our class today! "She shouted to her friend before going to the bathroom to bathe.

Aeshe yawned and looked up at the ceiling after hearing Alaister's voice. She was shocked to see in the wall clock that its already 6:30 am. She quickly got up from the bed and she arranged their uniforms for them to wear.

"Alaister! Hurry up and I need to take a bath too! "She slammed the door at the bathroom, but she could only hear her friends laugh. She was shocked when she look behind her and there it is her friend Alaister was wearing a bathrobe while laughing.

When Alaister stopped laughing, she immediately said, "Go on take a bath, so that we are not going to be late. I'll go see you in the kitchen for breakfast" and she bid goodbye.

She went to the walk-in closet to pick up the uniform and change while Aeshe went to the bathroom to bathe.

Alaister glanced at her reflection in the mirror as her new uniform was on her. Aeshe and Alaister also look different because of the black color of their hair, they're wearing a wig as long as their natural blonde hair.

Their parents did not allow them to color their blonde hair with color black and even their manager did not agree so they had no choice but to wear a wig.

Their friend Calista gave them a wig when they were at Calista's house. Calista was a cosplayer so she insisted to give a wig to them. Alaister smiled as she remembered what they were doing in the sleepover.

After she put some makeups she took Ashe's bag and took it to the living room, their bag was small but all their belongings were there.

Their maid Ana smiled at her "Good morning miss Lily I already cooked for your breakfast" She also smiled at her maid and greeted her good morning too.

"Good morning, did you eat breakfast with Kuya Tom? Please join us "she offered but their housemaid refused.

"We will eat breakfast after Tom takes you over to your school miss Lily. But thank you for your offer Miss Lily "Alaister's maid bowed at her as a sign of respect.

"Is that so? All right, thanks for cooking our breakfast ate Ana " Alaister said goodbye to the housemate and went to the dining area. Bacon, sunny side up eggs, vegetable salad, and brown rice are served, with fresh calamansi juice also.

She sat down and waited for Aeshe to go downstairs. Ana also greeted Aeshe a good morning, Aeshe went to the dining area and reached the chair besides Alaister who is waiting for her.

Alaister exclaimed, "Aeshe you're so slow! I was hungry. Let's eat because we are going to be late. Make it fast." Her tone of voice interrupted her mood as she spoke those words to Aeshe.

Aeshe just laughed at Alaister and started eating again. They ate for only fifteen minutes and immediately and left the dishes in the sink. They went to the garage and got into the van. Their driver had taken them to their school.

When Aeshe closed the door, Alaister said goodbye to their driver.

"This is it, it's over! We're late!" Aeshe shouted and she pulled Alaister's hand and run towards their room. They're unable to reach the start of the flag ceremony when they arrived they heard the bell rings as a signal that class was about to start.

They having a hard time finding their classroom. When they finally reached their room they were surprised when their professor was already there.

"And we have a winner! Why are you late? It's the first day of our class and then you're late? " Alaister notice the tone of their teacher's words has a source of annoyance.

The whole class looked at them as the two friends face was blank. They didn't give themselves a reason to become annoyed because they might just embarrass their professor in front of their classmates.

"Sorry but we're just a transferee so we're a bit lost. We will not repeat it. Sorry "when Alaister said those words they slightly bowed as a signal that they were sorry.

Unbeknownst to both of them that the three men who collided with them on the day of enrollment are also their classmates.

The professor smiled at the politeness of the two, "Okay don't repeat it, you can sit down." And the two searched for seats but there were no vacant chairs where they could sit.

Alaister sat on the back and Aeshe sat on the front row.

"Hi, miss." Alaister's seat mate said to her but she ignored it.

"Tsk snobbery "Hugo whispered to the girl beside him. Which Alaister had heard. Alaister looked down at her seat mate and she was surprised to see that it's the man she had been bumped into, during the enrollment.

"Don't you really want to ignore me?" The man said again while spoke softly to Alaister.

She looked at him sharply, "Shut the fuck up mister." When Hugo heard the woman's voice, he suddenly remembered the woman singing and playing the piano in their mansion last Saturday. He looked at Alaister's hair but he was disappointed because the color of her hair was black and not blonde.

The man grinned at Alaister before saying, "You are so good ... but you're so mean" (he has a cold voice) Alaister thought as she remembered the man, with a cold voice, which she punched last week

As their professor explained the rules and regulations of the school, the professor noticed that the two were talking at each other.

"You two at the back, after all, you were just talking there. You may also want to be the first to introduce yourself here in front." Hugo and Alaister just stared at him.

"Now!" Their professor shouted and Alaister stood up and looked down at her seat mate. Everyone was watching the them even Alaister's friend, Aeshe.

Alaister walked to the front and Hugo followed her, they still didn't know or haven’t had an idea about Alaister’s real identity ...since Hugo haven’t realized yet.

Alaister smiled fakely before saying, "Alaister Lilyane Hirsch, don't dare call me with my first name. Lily will do. " 

Alaister's introduction immediately brought commotion so the professor silenced them.

Aeshe and Alaister had a different look because of their wig but it doesn't matter how much they look different right now as they really do look great at all.

Hugo was shocked to know that he was going to be the classmate of the woman who punched and scolded them. The twins nodded at each other, as they were actually thinking of the same thing.

"I know you know me, but let me introduce myself again. I'm Hugo Clive Stanford." Hugo said coldly and the women immediately made a noise.

"Ok now class, you're next now ready to introduce yourselves." Their professor said, while Hugo and Alaister sat on their chair, and still didn't talk with each other again .

The introduction went on .

From the speakers attached to each of the classrooms, they heard a voice,

"Attention! The principal calls his son Mr. Stanford together with Miss Hirsch. Please proceed to the office now." Alaister and Hugo felt a cold water pouring on them, as chills run down into their spine, when the principal summoned them.
