09. The Bat Demon's Grudge

In a dimension adjacent to the Underworld, to be precise in the world where Earth humans live, live and give birth to offspring. There is an area where there is a small shrine which belongs to the Akibara family.

There was a handsome creature who was struggling to channel healing powers into his stomach and hands which were badly injured, and he was alone while in that cage.

No one has ever visited him. There has never been anyone trying to save the bat demon from that cursed place!

Damn, Kyeo is in a rage right now. The place where he lives is far from being touched by human hands. The temple where it is sealed has never been approached, let alone opened by people who are curious about its contents.

No human has ever dared to do it. They were all too scared to approach the cage belonging to the bat demon with golden yellow eyes. They were afraid that the demon would eliminate them for good, and of course they didn't want to do something dangerous like that.

Kyeo looked back at the wounds on his body. As a result of his battle with Himiko or the girl who sealed him in that place, Kyeo had to languish in that golden cage flowing with white energy for hundreds of years, although he didn't know exactly how much time had passed.

Kyeo really furious, angry overpowered him. The wounds suffered by him only cover a little every healing process he does, even though he has tried hard to close it in such a way. In fact, sometimes the wound will open again without cause, just like now.

With his current state, it was impossible for him to get out of that cage without having to expend all his strength. Kyeo couldn't treat his wounds at full strength himself, because there was only a small amount of strength left as a result of the battle back then.

Kyeo really couldn't help but feel the boredom he had felt since he entered the golden cage. There was nothing he could do but sit and lie down stupidly. The devil chuckled again in annoyance.

Kyeo then lay down, then got up again and lay back down again, and stared at the ceiling of the golden cage he was locked in that had a dark corner.

His eyes, sharp like an eagle, could see the darkness of the corner of the prison that had been made from the shrine maiden's spell. There seemed to be a little dust up there. Kyeo chuckled annoyed, he really didn't understand why he had to be locked up in the most boring place after the meadow.

Why would the pure energy from the holy spiritual power of the Shinto priest be used as a prison to lock up a great demon like him? That's the stupidest thing according to Kyeo, who really likes to underestimate the existence of other creatures. However, his anger was natural because he really wanted to get out of that place.

Kyeo, who was annoyed at the futile effort, made himself sit on the floor again. Sitting cross-legged, and occasionally scratching his butt which feels a little itchy. That was really ridiculous behavior, but Kyeo couldn't possibly act like that in front of other sentient beings.

"Heh, this place is so boring," grumbled the bat demon for the millionth time. Kyeo never grew tired of grumbling and complaining about the situation that had happened to him.

Kyeo then sat his face on his palms, his lips moved a few centimeters. His free left hand tapped the floor repeatedly.

If you pay attention, Kyeo does have a very handsome face. There are several moles on the body, mostly located on the neck.

His lips, which were neither thick nor thin, were pursed in disgust. It's not a new habit, Kyeo has often been acting weird since being locked up like a pet. No, maybe even longer than that. The devil's attitude sometimes fluctuated depending on his troubled mood.

"Bored!" shouted the devil angrily, who knows to who. "I have to get out of this place!"

The residence of the two humans has been devoured by the red rooster, who is none other than the creator, Kyeo, who is thirsty for blood.

"Move over you, human ... your child who is paralyzed I must immediately take his soul."

"NO! PLEASE!" the woman shouted in front of Kyeo. "Please don't take my son, just take me ...."

Kyeo shrugged with an expression of indifference. Not at all sorry for the drama shown by the mother and her disabled child, they were both crying not far from her.

"Mother ...." roared the child who was about 20 years. Due to a limitation, making him look like a child, even though his age was not what others saw. "I'm really afraid of that demon, Mother ...."

The old woman also shed tears with the child. At a time like this, there was nothing they could do but surrender to the god. If only his child who was paralyzed and his withered legs could escape from the devil's pursuit, they might both be safe.

Kyeo make his right hand that had changed into a typical Japanese sword — sharp katakana, then slashed it quickly at the crying old woman as she tightly hugged her son. The old woman's body immediately split in two, separating from the belly to the lower part of her body.

"MOM, MOM !!!! DANGER!

Kyeo turned his eyes, uncomfortable hearing the boy's sad screams. So sickening. He must immediately end this pleasure for the good of his ears.

"You killed my mother, devil!" Shouted the young man with tears running down his cheeks. "YOU MONSTER! Cruel!"

"GO !! Don't come near me and my mother!"

Kyeo just laughed when he heard the speech of the lame youth. His laughter intensified as he watched the brown-haired young man clutching his mother's upper body which had been cut into two parts.

Kyeo was amazed because he thought it was all funny. Only for a moment of admiration he felt for the young man who was not disgusted when holding and hugging the corpse of his mother, Kyeo was starting to feel bored with his toy.

Kyeo then raised his hand again, preparing to end the life of the young man in front of him. Before the poor young man had time to raise his head, Kyeo had already cut the young man's head off of his neck. The movement of the demon was so fast, it didn't hurt the death of its prey.

There was absolutely no expression Kyeo showed, other than the coldness at the bottom of his heart. For him, loss is something that is not needed.

The devil doesn't need anything to lose to him, and that's how Kyeo was born into the world.
