DEVIL'S IN LOVE (ENGLISH)

"Rin, come here." 

The girl with an innocent face without any polish on her small face, walked over to Kaede, the mother who called out to her in a soft voice. Her waist black hair was plaited using a long white ribbon that symbolized the purity that people have considered for a long time. 

Rin sat politely in front of the mother. The round-eyed girl stared at Kaede's face who seemed to have closed her eyes. 

"Yesterday ... what birthday did you have, Rin?" asked Kaede in a mysterious voice, unlike the voice she usually shows to her daughters. A serious expression that is rarely seen on the face of a woman who has given birth to her, makes Rin flutter with fear. 

She answered in a low voice, "18 years old, Mom ...." Rin took a careful sip of saliva, the atmosphere around her felt strange. Suddenly, Kaede grabbed her shoulder so hard that she made the cheerful girl grimace softly at her actions. 

The sharp glare of the mother's eyes brings anxious feelings to Rin, whose daily life she spends looking after their family shrine, because that is one of her duties as a miko. 

What happened to Rin's mother was truly chaotic. Mother does not usually behave like this. 

"The time has come," said Kaede again, suddenly. Rin frowned. Don't understand what the mother means. 

"What?" She asked in a low voice. The girl blinked her eyes several times with an innocent expression. There was silence for a few moments between mother and child thinking about something else. 

Rin gripped her knees and squeezed gently. Why did her mother take so long that Kaede, who had been silent all this time, suddenly took out a necklace with a pendulum in the form of a crescent moon surrounded by two black dots. The woman then quickly attached it to Rin who was confused. 

"Mother, what is this necklace for?" asked the girl with black eyes. Rin looked at the necklace with this strange shape, she didn't really like the style. 

"Mother, is this a present for Rin?" 

"No, Rin, but listen carefully," said Kaede, she closed her eyes. This is clearly a very difficult decision. 

She then returned to say after there was a pause between them, "I'm sorry. Now, you are not part of this family anymore." 

Rin widened in her seat. Is the mother ... currently jokes on her? Isn't it her birthday and this could be a surprise from her family, right? 

"You, we sacrifice to fulfill the devil's request that has cursed the Akibara family from generation to generation since hundreds last year. " 

"You can never come back. You can never get away." 

"From now on, you are part of the darkness."

    Kaede who was still closing her eyes, then made a circular motion of her hands clockwise, the two fingers on her right hand looked like they were forming a seal. Her mouth continues to chant the ancient spell of the Akibara family that will send Rin to another world, to become a slave to the Demon Monkey.

    For a few moments she maintained that position, until then her eyes opened along with the appearance of a circle seal on the floor of the house.

    Right where Rin sat feeling scared.

    Suddenly, Rin's body was enveloped in a bright light that was so dazzling to the eyes. Slowly, her body seemed to be fading, her presence was slowly disappearing.

    "N-no! NO, MOM!" roared the girl in a loud voice. Rin's tears just spilled.

    "I WANT TO BE WITH YOU!"

    Rin kept screaming, begging for mercy from her mother. "Mom! Don't sacrifice Rin, Mom!" She shouted with tears in his eyes.

    Kaede ignored the child's screams. This is all for the survival of their family too.

    Even though Rin's body faded and almost disappeared, faintly heard the girl's voice asking for help. "ANYONE! HELP ME!"

    Rin woke up in a field, outside the forest that looked dark because of the thick trees. The white clothes she used to wear while at the temple looked dirty because suddenly she was lying on the wet ground. Her red pleated trousers were full of dust and dirt.

    Rin blinked her eyes a few times, the retina of her eye trying to match the incoming light. Rin can feel that her back hurts, somehow she can arrive at that strange place.

    Was she thrown? Or did she crash on the ground? Rin really can't imagine if that really happened to her.

    The girl then tried to stand up using her small legs which had not stopped shaking since a while ago. Since waking up from fainting, Rin was not feeling well.

    All the joints in her body ached. Rin, who had been standing straight, then looked around. Unfamiliar dense forest. No, everything looks foreign to her. Where the hell is that girl?

    Crack crack

    A strange sound suddenly appeared from the direction of the bushes not far from her, the girl who was curious finally chose to slowly approach her. Then parted the bush carefully.

    "HUWAAA !!" screamed Rin in fear.

    The girl retreated quickly when a strange-shaped creature jumped out from behind the bush that she had opened because of her curiosity.

    The alien's big red eyes were staring at Rin with a gaze that was hard to explain.

    From its wide mouth dripped long saliva which made Rin immediately shudder with horror. The girl then quickly took out several sheets of spell paper from under her clothes, containing the prayer for the antidote that she always kept there.

    Luckily, Rin has been equipped with the basic knowledge to exorcise evil spirits.

    Rin then threw two sheets of spell paper at the alien, just as the creature tried to jump at her. Rin then rose to her feet carefully, then sprinted into the forest when the creature was unable to escape due to the binding seal stuck to its body.

    Rin ran fast, without looking back at all.

    The footsteps that sounded close made the girl's heart pump no less fast than her feet. Strange noises came again, entering Rin's ears who had no intention of stopping her run.

    Her curiosity provoked Rin to turn her face slightly to the back side. The girl witnessed creepy creatures of various shapes chasing her.

    Their unnatural forms, and their eyes of various colors and sizes stared at Rin hungrily.

    The girl was trapped in a difficult situation, she could only surrender to the fate that was now beginning to loom over her.

    Rin chose to keep spurting her feet towards the cliff she saw not far ahead, intending to plunge herself into the abyss.

    Rather than the pain of falling from a high place, Rin was more concerned about the beings following her with hungry eyes. By God, she would rather die from falling to the bottom of the abyss than to die from being eaten by a terrible demon.

    Bravely, Rin ran straight without fear and finally fell into the abyss.

    "AAAHHH !!!" Rin immediately dived down quickly, so there was no more ground to step on. His body immediately hit the rocks and the roots of a large tree embedded in the cliff after he decided to jump from above.

    Does not care about the state of his own body.

    There was a loud thud. Once on the ground, Rin lay alone at the bottom of the ravine in a white shirt that was flushed red from the seepage of blood from her wound. The girl's face looked dirty because of the ground that hit her.

    The girl lay alone with wounds, and endless fear. His black eyes stared at the sky that turned gray.

    "Maybe ... this is my destiny," whispered Rin sadly. Her sad tears fell for a moment before she lost consciousness. Does she still have a chance at life?

      Kyeo speed up his run. No matter what he could do, he had to run to save his precious life.

The people who were now chasing him wanted to arrest and punish him for the crimes he had committed so far. They want to send him back to where he came from, to the World of the Dead, where sinners must return and be silent.

Kyeo doesn't want that to happen, he prefers it here. The world he lives in now is a real paradise for him.

Kyeo is lucky enough to be in the human world. A place where he is free to commit massacres and teach those pathetic people a lesson. Luckily for a devil like him, there were countless stupid humans who summoned him to their world, but in the end, the demon would kill them all.

No one can deny the cunning possessed by a demonic figure, even though they have promised to obey the summoner's orders, but in fact the opposite is true. Death is what they will get before they even have time to reach their destination.

He is Kyeo, a demon that cannot be underestimated, and is taken for granted.

Kyeo is a demon who really hates humanity. To him, humans were lowly beings whose lives were worth no more than the hair of the devil that fell to the ground. The devil has killed 999 weak humans from various parts of the world, and made them his delicious food.

When he was ready to kill his 1000th victim, Kyeo met the human.

Human female is identical to female priest in Shinto religion, a miko or shrine guard girl. Creatures that looked weak, even to kill a cat they certainly wouldn't be able to. However, in reality ... the miko managed to injure Kyeo to the point that the devil could no longer fight him.

Kyeo growled in anger, the demon was eager to kill and eat the miko, but the situation now is very unlikely. He was seriously injured.

Kyeo then cursed wildly. Obviously, it wasn't his style to shy away from humans, it was usually the one that would hunt them all down. However, now he couldn't even fight back.

Kyeo realized that his badly injured condition made it impossible for him to defeat the miko, he preferred to run away as far as possible from there and find a safe hiding place.

When Kyeo was focused on jumping from one tree to another to avoid being chased, suddenly from the front there were various kinds of sharp weapons aimed at him.

Suddenly, the demon dodged immediately. The devil's arrogant attitude appeared when he dodged it and is now dealing with people who have dared to chase him. It turned out that only a bunch of weak humans.

"Hee ...." Kyeo muttered when he saw the small number of opponents that could not be said. If Kyeo was in good health, it was possible that the creatures in front of him had turned to ashes. "It turns out that you guys have been watching my movements all along?"

"Kyeo, you are accused of murder and massacre of residents in this country. You are now a suspect," said one of the masked soldiers to the devil. "Please, surrender yourself kindly."

"Tsk!" The devil chuckled irritably. Her eyes were wide open to the person standing in the front row. He didn't feel afraid or afraid at all. Even though he was currently injured, his view of humans would never change.

"You think I'll just give myself up to all of you?" he asked, lifting his chin. He is indeed arrogant, there isn't a devil in this world who doesn't have pride in him.

The ten people dressed in black in front of him looked displeased with the devil's words, Kyeo grinned as he pointed at them one by one.

"Hm, you very pathetic humans." The sharp-nosed devil with his charming human face then snorted with amusement. Laughing at something that is not known for sure.

Not getting a response from the human in front of him, made the devil look lightly at those who were trying to catch him. His unclothed body revealed seductive biceps and abdominal muscles. Yes, the devil never wears clothes, they are completely naked.

"DON'T THINK I WANT IT, HUMAN!" Kyeo shouted loudly, a moment later he laughed loudly, causing a fire of anger in the hearts of the humans who were tasked with hunting him. "I can't possibly want to come with you, idiot!"

The devil's attention was only on the few people standing in front of him, making him not focus on the surroundings. A priestess who was chasing Kyeo had put a hand seal behind the bat demon.

"DAMN!" said Kyeo after realizing he was in danger. Before the devil had time to evade, the miko had read the spell.

"Akuma no shirushi!"

Then suddenly, a large black hole appeared which instantly trapped him. Kyeo was caught by the spell that the miko had previously pronounced.

Kyeo squealed over and over again.

Before he could avoid it, he was already swallowed up into the barrier of light which slowly began to suck in the demon, and trapped him in a cage that gave off a very strange energy. The demon continued to struggle and struggled in the golden cage made by the miko. However, his efforts only further strengthened the barrier absorbing demonic energy.

The shrine maiden knew the point of weakness of the devils, they all couldn't stand the pure energy. Spiritual power is able to defeat them, but it depends on the type of demon itself.

The red-hooded miko with a flat face who had succeeded in trapping Kyeo into the spell taught by her mother, slowly approached the bat demon. "Bring Kyeo, the bat demon before the ruler," she said quickly.

"Yes, Miss!" replied the guards with alacrity.

They all then disappeared in an instant, heading to a place where Kyeo would be held indefinitely, while carrying the demon who was imprisoned like a bird in a cage.

Unnoticed by them, the demon's dark gaze fixed on only one person, at a woman who covered herself in a long milky white robe.

A holy miko who has a birthmark of two red dots on his forehead. The devil who had lost a wing because of that girl, growled in rage. He will never forgive that woman and her offspring!

"I'll kill you, bastard!"

Kyeo promise to this.

    "Who are you?" asked Kyeo curiously.

    "I am the one who will free you from this place."

    Kyeo glared at a human figure enveloped by an aura of darkness who was standing outside his golden cage — the place where Kyeo was locked up. "What do you want from me, human?" asked the devil.

The figure that was previously hiding behind the pillar of the building, began to slowly reveal its form to Kyeo. The sad eyes in her two eyes conveyed deep despair and sadness.

    "Please." She said in a low voice that could barely be heard by an ordinary human. However, it is easy to hear a bat demon who is now dealing with the miko girl.

    "Make a contract with me, and help me escape this curse," said the girl. "I want to be free."

    Kyeo looked at the humans who dared to approach him at close range with a gaze showing interest. No, he couldn't possibly fall into the sacred puddle called feelings, because the ruler forbade devils from seeming to have feelings for humans. It's impossible for Kyeo to like them.

    It's just that a human with a female form that looks weak, dares to make a contract with him? With a devil like him?

    Ha! Interesting ....

    "In return, I will give you a free and ... heal the wounds you suffered from the previous battle."
