Chapter 8: Third Party

*Ray's POV*

"Hey, Ray."

"W-what?"

"You take my bag and get away from here. This will be quite an awful fight so there will be no room for me to save you if something happens."

"But!"

"No buts! You already raised the flags so don't give me another problem to deal with! Get out of here! This will be your first order from your very great leader!"

"Just when did you become my leader!? Urgh! Fine so be it!"

I immediately grab Mikes's bag and about to run away but I stop in a short pause.

I look back at Mike is glaring at something beyond the darkness.

It was cool to see him like this but I immediately break the mood by yelling at him to vent my frustration.

"THERE'S NO STUFF INSIDE YOUR BAG EXCEPT CLOTHES! DO YOU EVEN CONSIDER YOURSELF A STUDENT!?"

There is no point in me carrying your stuff!

Even when I shout he didn't dare to look away from the darkness.

Mike's only attention is at his front as darkness can only be seen.

FUCK FUCK! I still don't know what's happening! I should call some help!

"Help! Somebody! My friend is in danger!" I yell in a desperate tone.

The only thing I could think of when I came back to him he will be lying down with wounds everywhere on his body. I believe those thugs will not take their beating too far like killing someone just because they hate him... unless... AHHH MIKE!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?

I yell at the top of my lungs as my throat goes dry as time passed.

It was already 11:00 PM (23:00) of course there would be no people in the street!

But as I'm about to turn left I see a single figure walking through the dim street. Because of the cold silence revolving around the dim street, one could hear the figures' footsteps clearly.

Slowly looking at the figure, It's a girl in her early twenties, or to my surprise, she might be just a teen.

She looks like she's about to go home.

I'm about to talk to her when I thought of something shitty in the middle of this crisis.

(Hey, what if that girl is a ghost? Look, she has long black hair.)

As I think of what would happen if I talk to the girl I started to nervously hesitate.

My mouth opens and closes as the words aren't coming out from my mouth.

My instincts told me to run away from the girl but if I do Mike would be in real trouble.

Just when I'm still hesitating the girl looks back and saw me at her back.

Shit! Did I make her think that I was a stalker!? Or did she really intended to make me think this way so she can suck my soul out because she's a ghost!?

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH my inside is yelling in confusion and hesitation as I don't know what to do.

"Uhmm... what do you want?" the girl asks me with her gentle voice.

*Badump* I thought my heart stops for a moment.

W-w-w-w-WHAT AN ANGEL!

I quickly kneel before her pledging my loyalty towards the angel.

Wait?! What am I doing!?

The girl just saw my creepy pathetic side.

I immediately stand up, gather myself, and talk to her. (I hope I didn't make her feel disgusted towards me.)

"Please I need your help!" I pleaded to the girl asking something impossible for a normal girl like her but I still asked in desperation.

I did not stop there and continued. "M-my friend is in trouble he was about to be beaten by some thugs."

I hope she understands what I'm saying here and helps me to help me to ask others to help us.

"He's still a high-school student like me and yet he was about to be beaten to death by those shitty thugs! So please at least help me asking other people for help!"

The girl didn't talk to me and just stared at me silently.

*Badump badump*

Not long after about only about 10 seconds she finally opens her mouth and spoke.

"If by chance that a friend of yours... is it, Mike?"

"!?"  Through her answer, I'm surprised that I'm speechless that I can't give her an immediate answer.

But because of the expression on my face I make, she quickly catches up the answer.

"As expected, huh. *sigh* Take me where Mike is."

"What? but with just two of us, we can't even give him proper help. Not to mention you're a girl. That's why you must help me to go around asking help for others."

I don't know what's this girl to Mike but even with two of us, it's impossible to help.

"We should call some help like the police or someone nea-" As I said my worry she interrupted me.

"I know that's why we need to be there as soon as possible." She taps my shoulder giving me a sense of relief showing it's okay for two of us to go there and smiled at me.

I don't know what she will do but if she is willing to help I might as well agree to her.

"Okay." I agreed to her statement and immediately go back towards Mike's location.

***************************************

*Back to the present time.*

"Please help me clean those trashes who wanted to hurt Mike," said the girl to the four.

"O-okay... we are already doing it tho," said Leo in a hesitant voice fearing that he might trigger something from this girl.

The girl smile back at them showing how she appreciates the help they offer. Her smile was something like an angel that soothes people's confused hearts.

Daniel who feels something weird to himself when she sees the girl stands up and straight-up asking her name.

"U-uhmmm, miss, may I know your name?" said in a shy tone.

The four easily forget what happened to them as they are soothed by the atmosphere the girl makes.

"Sena." said in a gentle tone.

(AHHHHH!!!! WHAT A CUTIE!) Daniel wanted to shout in excitement but he refrains himself doing it as he might ruin his image towards Sena.

While Daniel who still dreaming the other three were already off to fight the oncoming thugs in the four directions.

"OY STOP DAYDREAMING AND HELP US HERE!!!" One of the four raises an aggressive complaint.

Daniel manages to gather himself from his friend's complaint and immediately give the four a back up from the middle.

Sena went to the front, opposite of Leo's location.

Ray and Mike are in the middle of the five as they are being protected even tho their numbers are low compare to the thugs.

The good thing about this is that now there are only a few thugs remaining as others already ran away.

Leo using his martial arts flawlessly beating down each thug that comes to him.

Daniel beat down the thugs that are running straight to him accurately at the head with rocks and any kind of things from the ground that he stored up just now. (How's that!? Did Sena saw my awesomeness!?)

The other two extras are also beating those thugs with their weapons in hand. One of the two is equipped with knuckles and the other one is equipped with a slinger the same as Daniel.

In the middle of their fight, the extras look at each other in confusion and ask one another.

"I somewhat feel like someone is calling me an extra."

"What a coincidence me too."  T-they look everywhere on the street thinking that someone was stalking them and gave up midway as they are busy fighting with thugs.

They are somehow pissed and annoyed making their fighting more aggressive.

As the four are batteling in all sides Sena minds her own fight at the front.

Unlike Mike who only knows block and counter or Leo who uses martial arts, Sena used a type of something like pinning or throwing her enemy down to the ground.

By combining her power and speed her style is outstanding as the four and Ray are astonished by Sena who can easily throw one thug after another to the ground like they are feather.

"Kuh... They are nothing like that kid(Mike)! Finish them!" said Carlo who's in the middle of commanding his people.

With his title as a boss, no one would dare to disobey him as thugs are trying to get up and fight again.

Ray who's guarding Mike can only watch from afar witnessing the brawl with his own virgin eyes.

(I bet mom would not believe in me if I ever tell the reason why I am late.) Ray cried as he thinks about what punishment would he get from his mom.

As the fight is getting hot, the police's sirens can be heard from afar.

"Shit they are almost here!" Cursed by Leo.

They wanted to escape but the thugs will not let them.

However, while they are in the middle of the fight as the polices are about to come...

A couple of black and white vans suddenly appeared out of nowhere interrupting their brawl.

They did not expect this as they all pause for a brief moment and look at the vans.

Leo is holding one of the thug's sleeves as he about to punch him but has been stopped by someone who grabbed his arm.

"!?" Leo turns his head to look at one who grabbed him but his vision suddenly turns black as a sack had been placed on his head.

He knew for sure that man who puts a sack on his face is tall which means they are an adult. The adult quickly carries Leo to his shoulder and put him in the van.

"What are you doing!" Daniel was furious. Who would dare tried to hurt or kidnapped his friend?

He was about to shoot the adult however someone blocked his view.

Another adult in a black suit grabbed his head with his massive hand and also carries him into the van. He tried to resist but he doesn't have the strength to outmatch them.

Some of the thugs who are about to launch an attack saw the people in a black suit dragging Daniel and Leo to the van helplessly.

Carlo didn't know what's happening but he managed to gather himself and order his members to retreat as he had a vague idea of what they are doing.

(Kidnapping in the middle of many people!? Are they out of their mind!?")

He's a thug as he knows a little about what they are doing.

"Everyone runs away from here!" (At least make my people safe!) Is what Carlo thought as he ran away like his life is on the line leaving those four, Sena, Ray, and Mike behind.

Many vans appeared from here and there in the street as they grab many thugs as they can.

One of the van who dragged Leo and Daniel are about to get Sena, Ray, and Mike next.

"Kid, run away from here. I didn't expect this to happen." Sena speaks to Ray in a gentle mixed with panic tone.

Even she is a girl, she's older than them so the young must run away first before her.

She doesn't know if she can handle these adults who came out of nowhere to kidnap them as she prepares her stance.

"Hurry." Said Sena to Ray.

(Ah! Okay! Just please be safe!) Ray carries Mike as he sprinted away from here only Sena left. Ray jumps through the short wall carrying Mike as he's figure dissolves into the dark.

The adults in black suit read their intentions as they chased the people that are running away in the van.

The van drives away from Sena and chases the two only leaving one adult to deal with Sena.

(Looks like I cannot stop the van from chasing them... Please be safe.) Sena knew her sacrifice are in vain.

But she still did not dare to run away as she still prepared her stance.

(Based on the numbers of vans outside I cannot escape from here. I don't know the reason why are you aggressively kidnapping these people in such a public place but at least I should beat one or two of them.)  Sena immediately launches an attack straight to the adult in the black suit.

The adult anticipated it, dodging her attack and push her at the ground just like she's playing at her not taking this fight seriously.

The fight did not take long as the result end horribly.

Even one could be called talented or a genius in one thing they can't outmatch the experience of the ones who's older than oneself.
