Chapter 2

For the last two days, I’ve been feeling feverish. I complained to Mrs. Jane, my step-mother but she paid no attention to me and called me names. I had to use half of my savings to buy myself some drugs. With all of these, I was forced to do all the house-chores or else……

“Anny!! Get your fucking butt outta here!!!…” Kaylle psyched up, almost pushing me to slip.

  “I’m almost done…” I said, feeling like balling my first and giving her what she truly deserves... A hot blow but I couldn't. 

“How long will it take you to clean up this fucking kitchen?!” She roared and stained the kitchen with only God knows where on earth she got those tiny, muddy-legs from.

I was pissed because she made me clean the kitchen over and over again.

Kay opened the shelves madly, as if she was just released from prison, brought out the leftover bread and jam, and started devouring it. Rolling her coal-lined eyes at me with disgust.

Did I mention that Kaylle eats a lot? Well, she could be a food monger some times.

      I decided to clean slowly, so I could clean the last stain she’ll be leaving in the kitchen.

“Get up and make me breakfast!…” She yelled, storming out of the kitchen.

After cleaning the kitchen, I quickly washed my hands in the sink and make pancakes with syrup, chocolate waffles and whipped cream. I put them in different plates and served. With haste, I rushed to the kitchen to devour the piece of chocolate waffle I left for myself. I had no right in the house to eat much…'cause if I did, I’ll end up being punished.

I quickly rushed to my bathroom to have a warm bath.

“Oww…!” I groaned, trying to hold the pain.

Apparently, my whole body ached, I became weak. I had to rush in order for me to meet Kaylle. Since I don’t have a car, I have no option left than to go with Kaylle or suffer the 45 minutes walk.

After taking my bath, I dried and brushed my natural black long hair that stops at my waist, put on my favourite purple T-shirt, my old blue faded baggy jean and sneakers. Picked up my old school bag and hurried to the garage to wait for Kaylle. Well, I and Kaylle attend Tony Montana High school. I’m in grade 12 while she is in her 9th grade.

Minutes later, Kaylle came out in all her glory.

“How do I look, Bella?” She asked arrogantly as she posed with her right hand on her hip. 

"No one fucking cares about your stupid look, She-goat!" I thought but I dare not say it out loud.

“Errm, You look Ex-treeem-li beautiful.” I managed to say, faking a bright, toothy smile.

The truth is that I was already provoked with all this foolish and non-challant attitude of hers.  She’s obviously an upcoming member of  the School’s slut or should I say the school's Queen Bee as most people call it. We were fifteen minutes late already and all she cared about was her fake blonde hair, fake boobs, fat butt and her heavy, ugly make-up?! Gosh!! 

At last... Finally, She threw herself in the driver's seat and I sat beside her at the front seat. 

"Voom!"

She started the car and zoomed across the street, blasting music (Shine bright like a diamond  …by Rihanna). I managed to put on the seat belt before she took off as my anger grew because all the pains I felt multiplied.

“Ooo,Ooo! Well, I’m beautiful like diamonds in the sky!!…” She yelled happily. 

I put my hand to reduce the volume of the radio but kaylle smacked my hand. I flinched.
